Having found previous Monopoly caches I had an idea of the container. We found the container but it was on the ground and very empty and damaged. No log to sign.
Were sorry to report that this was a DNF. We looked around for a good 45 minutes read a lot of logs and turned the bush upside down. No luck here!
Something tells me that this hide has been adjusted to a much more accessible position. Found the bison without needing to engage in much of the previously reported strenuous activities.
Log in good condition, dating back to early 2022. Sadly, no sign of a monopoly clue.
Still, loving this series (what remains of it). It’s giving me a new perspective on Geelong. I also always appreciate encountering new Suburban spaces that I would otherwise have not ventured into. This is a nice little local football club, and it’s an absolute delight to stumble across the 1st Hamlyn Heights Scout Hall.

Spent a bit of time searching for this one. Some young muggles came along to play on the oval and one came up to see if I needed any help. Assured the muggle I was okay and just looking for something. Almost thought I’d have to mark a DNF but had a little read through some comments for clues. Thanks to one comment I was able to roughly work out where I needed to be to spy the cache … with hints in mind I went out on a limb and voila was able to spot the cache! Of course once I saw it, I couldn’t not see it even if a little tricky to get there. Signed the log and then the challenge of putting the cache back … very awkward and difficult to do but managed to do it without falling into the garden!! Yay!
Thanks for the cache!

Adelaide to Hobart Road Trip
Day Two: Casterton to the ferry.
Weather: warming up!
A not so quick cache, but a quiet spot for reorganising the van before getting on the ferry. If you are thinking “but the ferry departure point doesn’t change to Geelong until later in the month”, you’d be absolutely right. The relocation company just gave me an eight digit number, no ticket as such, and Google maps supported my thinking that the change over had already happened. It made for a very exciting streak up the M1 to Station Pier once I realised the mistake. Lucky for me that it didn’t take any longer to find the cache.
Thanks for the hide Darth Briji.

Out here early this morning for my son’s 50th footy game. My geodaughter found a log sheet on the ground which was in a zip lock bag but very wet. Can’t believe it still has a clue on it, it’s the first one I’ve seen in this series.
Reading through the logs I see that a previous finder has replaced the cache with a waterproof log so I’m not sure what’s happening here but we definitely found the original one. Replaced as best we could. TFTC

**A quick cache run to Geelong**
Out and about making the most of the sunshine on a sunny but cool winters day.
Grabbed a coffee nearby and then headed off to grab a couple of caches and some photos. Had the place pretty much to myself today. Replacement cache was found quickly with good co-ords.
Thanks for the cache Darth Briji and for series. Appreciate your efforts.

**Warning**, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to learning new things and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise.
Cache on!

Could see the remains of the cache, so replaced with a black one and new signed waterproof log.
Hidden out of view, for protection. Still very doable.

Found, container gone but the foundation remains. Glad to have found before it disappears completely... TFTC #249!!! 1 to go!!!
Easy find but cache container is gone. I found the log on the ground and signed it. Placed it back on the ground in a plastic bag.
A nice easy find in the heart of muggle territory. Cache is in good condition. Thanks!
Thank you to all who have found this cache and enjoyed the Geelong Monopoly Series. I really enjoyed creating this series and loved reading the logs of those who left one. Sadly, I don’t have the motivation to keep this series maintained anymore therefore I will be archiving it over time as they disappear.
Thank you once again to all those who have found and enjoyed this series
Cheers,

Quick find now I’m familiar with what the Monopoly caches may look like. Coordinates spot on
We had to pick something up from my son's place in Geelong West, so we popped in here and the park was totally deserted. Usually when we have been here there are dogs and their owners taking advantage of the park, and not wanting to look suspicious we have chosen each time to try again later. We made our way to GZ and we clearly approached from the right angle as we quickly saw the thematic hide. We signed the log and returned the cache to its location. The cache was in excellent condition. Thank you for this cache Darth Briji.

A simple find as once you look in the right direction it is plainly hidden.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thank you for placing this geocache for without someone to hide a geocache there would be nothing for someone to find.

Very hard for my newbie eyes to find . Eventually got there with some persistence! TFTC
Having been somewhat immobilised by a nasty bull ant bite on my ankle, (which I of course obtained while caching) I couldn't help but make one last ditch effort to hold onto my streak after work. Thankfully I had cache in hand within a few minutes. TFTC!
The third and final find for the morning. A short stroll and a sharp eye needed. tftc
Found thanks what a morning hiding in bushes from walkers had to jump out stop dog attack an help young11yr transgender while the other man an two grey hounds off leads snuck away lunch time n drink I think lol
Found with kangas11, a few muggles out on the oval with their dogs but they left as soon as it started pouring rain. Cache quickly in hand. TFTC.
Stay in Geelong for the weekend. Day 2. Accompanied with theashleys7 for caching day to do the Monopoly series. Found it. Thanks The Monopoly Guy for bringing us here

Today is not my friend so far. Multiple DNF’s and mugglings meant my goal of a quick streak find wasnt as easily achievable as I had hoped. I nearly moved on from here due to a muggle parked right at GZ but she eventually got her dogs out of the car and moved on so I was able to get the job done.
Thanks The Monopoly Guy for placing this Micro Traditional - this is find 1103 for BFMC

Just picking up a few caches today, along with ilook4geo, while doing some shopping and other things in the Geelong area. We found the caches we targeted, except for one, and all found logs were signed and put back into place securely before we moved on to the next one. Thanks go to The Monopoly Guy for this cache placement.
In the Geelong area for a short visit with goingplaces2 and just had to include a few caches while we were there. This was one we found. Both names were signed. TFTC.
Found easily enough but there was a muggle who kept staring at me when I was sitting down to sign it. What man?! Sat on a nearby bench pretending to be on my phone. Eventually he continued playing with his dog and I was able to replace the cache without him noticing. Muggles.... thanks for the cache
I decided at very short notice that I would have an overnight caching trip to Geelong. Having never cached here previously it was certainly an appealing prospect. I headed off early with the bike on board and got here sooner that I thought I would.
I spent the morning caching by bike and the afternoon driving around sampling the suburbs.
Having parked the bike up I was now driving around grabbing caches at random.
A quiet GZ made for a quick find. TFTC.

In the area for the Christmas events yesterday, so taking the opportunity with omegaman1971 to do some of the local hides, while in the area for the weekend. We only had a few DNF's and made some good discoveries and clever hides during the day. We had some fun and laughs along the way.
This was another quick find while doing another in this series.
Thanks Darth Briji for placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

Decided to try and find 6 caches after dog training to obtain my dragon souvenir. Starting to have a seriously bad afternoon. Out of eight attempts, two I couldn't reach, two I couldn't find and this was the second that was muggle city! I'm remembering why I hate caching in urban areas
As I'd started off being 3 months behind in my logging I am desperately trying to catch up and am mass logging to do so.
Some silly person decided that spending the whole day in the Corolla with Rex and dalerious while travelling to Geelong and then Ballarat in order to attend 2 events just might be a good thing to do [^] It was! [^] Tiring but fun! [^][)][)]
So 2 events attended, 1 DNF and 17 fun finds for the day made for a great day [^]
Even breaking the car key and then having to use pliers to grip and turn it while holding the transponder close to the ignition and then having a flat tyre and having no jack [:(!] could dampen the day
Finally getting to find Subterranean Letterbox was a huge bonus and Rex loved running through the amazing old drain [^]
Another Monopoly cache found and I didn't get sent to Gaol

It was BendSinister who spotted this well hidden one. Area was deserted. Thank you
This was a game piece very close to home, that somehow I hadn't yet picked up although its been here for almost 3 years. I came at the right time early this cold morning - would have been an interesting retrieval if there were any muggles about .
Now that I've been playing it for a few years, when do I pass GO and collect my $200?!
Thanks, Monopoly Guy.

Found with thomo31, quick find, should have bought my dog for a run as there was so many dogs on the oval. TFTC
Came here on Friday night but Auskick was on and the scout hall was being used also. Muggle central! Back tonight for a quick although awkward to reach find. TFTC
Just gathering up a few more of the Monopoly series to end our day and double checking our clues too. SL at 5.19pm #4516 TFTC Darth Briji
A nice quick find with no muggles in sight. While we had completed enough of the caches to find the final in this series, I am enjoying collecting the remaining caches. Thanks Darth Briji.
Grabbing my daily cache and decided to go for this one. A quick find (once I stopped looking too low in the very itchy bush). I couldn't help thinking that the nearby Scout hall looked very similar to the cache (especially if all the paint were the same colour as the skirting). Loving this series. TFTC.
Out in Geelong today to visit the beach and have a swim.
Grabbed this one on the way home.
Thanks for the cache hide.

Geelong Day 3
Setting up camp at the showgrounds.
An early start as we were caching in the town area. With us today was Roostaman.
After finding an earlier monopoly cache we had an idea where to look for this one, after a short search it was soon spotted.

A game of cricket was in full swing , but the only other person on the GZ side of the oval was a taxi with the driver having a reat. Quick find, signed log and replaced the realised I'd forgotten to look at the clue. Undo again, collect clue the had lots of trouble getting everything back togather again. Bother. TFTC DarthBriji
We chose a pretty good time to grab this cache as the area was pretty much deserted. A nice straightforward find, sign and return here. TFTC
This was a very busy area when we arrived - dog training, soccer practice and judo were underway and there were many people around. Thankfully they were all preoccupied with their interests and ignored our arrival. We were fortunate to make a quick find, meaning that we didn't have to hand around GZ for a length of time. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Darth_Brijl for the cache and series.
few muggles about. was able to spot the cache shall return to sign it another time
Went for a walk with my muggle friend sue while visiting and i looked and looked then sue saw it a nice chuckle tftc
