Got there a bit before school pickup so was all clear for an attempt. Found quickly
Out and about with Deanside today and collecting some of these cache of the year noms. Being a bit of a wet day and it's too early to go to the pub for some dutch courage, we opted to give this one a miss despite the quick find.
Talk climb for me (mav) since I am young I can do it pretty easily might need a small thing to stand on if you cant hold/pull your body weight tftc
I was unsure as to what to expect when coming to this cache. After scouting out from ground level, a quick climb up and the log was in hand. A few muggles around but none where paying attention as to what I was up to. Thanks for this series and cache.
Found it easy enough, but it's another story entirely to get to it.
Had there been a hope of a Clue still remaining, I might have found the motivation. As it is, this battle has been left for another day.

We returned to avenge the sad face.
We could see the house, but it was ajar with the roof open… not a good sign.
We deployed the TOTT and checked. Sure as eggs there was no one home!
We always come prepared to do any maintenance along the way( it’s our way of contributing to the overall game). So it was back to the car to fetch an appropriate replacement.
Now there is a white pill bottle with fresh log living in the house … with our fresh signatures.
Thanks to Darth Briji for this series and a lovely little challenge here.

Usually these are easy to find… so no such luck today. At GZ, which looked obvious, we checked in the fork which appeared to be the ideal location, with nothing else within cooee, but lucked out.
Suspicious that this is AWOL

well, we were here
but you will not be able to tell
usually the logbook is a reliable indicator of our presence
we never claim a treasure that we haven’t written our name in the notepad ourselves
but
when you’re up a tree and there’s no logbook, your options are limited
we returned to the ground and assessed our options
no paper in the car
no paper around the oval
instead, we monogrammed a leaf
we suspect that by now the wind has launched our logbook out into port phillip bay
so that only the fish may verify our presence
so you will just have to trust us:

We were in Geelong to see Mr Dromaniax's son, and while here, we wanted to find a cache.
We know that the Monopoly series won't last forever and wish to get as many of them as possible.
Manifold Heights seemed like a good one to get today, so we made our way to GZ.
We made a reasonably quick find.
The cache is in good condition
Thank you, Darth Briji, for this cache.

Sent my geokid to locate, but the box was empty please see attached photo!! tftc
Found, good climb probably next time I will wait till it is not raining,no log present to write in.
Fun climb early in the morning. Glad to get the smiley pre-archiving of this cache in the old skool Monopoly series TFTC No logbook present...
A nice little climb for the afternoon!! Cache found but didn't have a spare log. Unfortunately this seems to be happening a lot with the monopoly series. Very happy I have found a big bunch of them before they fade out
We know no longer mail Ted but still fun to get out and find with the geo kids anyway
I know it’s not maintained but it was a fun little find for us today! No note book to sign but was fun checking anyway thank you
A little tricky to spot in the darkness but managed to locate once half way up the tree - TFTC
Thank you to all who have found this cache and enjoyed the Geelong Monopoly Series. I really enjoyed creating this series and loved reading the logs of those who left one. Sadly, I don’t have the motivation to keep this series maintained anymore therefore I will be archiving it over time as they disappear.
Thank you once again to all those who have found and enjoyed this series
Cheers,
Chris

A long overdue catchup with muggle friends in Geelong resulted in a weekend of caching with RoamingHowie, targetting AdLabs, solved puzzles, LGAs, and various others along the way.
Spotted the outer container. But nothing inside. Added a few sheets of paper in a ziplock bag.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, Darth Briji

It’s finally the rescheduled Geelong trip! Originally postponed due to 25km restrictions, we are now free to roam and set to explore. Ad labs, puzzles and spending a lot of time walking the cemetery is the order of the day.
Added a log in a zip lock to this cache since it has been missing for some time. Used a TOTT and the cache was soon in hand.
Thanks Darth Briji for the cache.

I decided to get this one before work. The sprinklers have just been on which made everything muddy and slippery. Found cache but there was no logbook inside.
Thanks for the hide
Thanks for the hide
Came back again to get this one with another cacher in tow (who happens to be 6ft and is very well accustomed to parkour) and finally retrieved this one!!!
Bit of a scary climb for us boys but managed to get up and back down alive. Thanks do the hide Darth, TFG5
Found it but was not able to get to it. A big climb but will be back to try again when im next in the area

I was here a couple of weeks ago and saw what was needed. Today I was back with a tool and made the cache into a smiley.
Found today at 1245
Been wanting to knock this one over for a long time.
Found in company with MerAus.

Came back for a second attempt. Again for some reason we thought night time would be best for this one. Anyway, gathered up the courage this time and turns out I didn't need as much as I thought. From below, the climb definitely looked scarier than it was in the end. Though I caused myself a bit more trouble than needed when I dropped my pen from right up at the cache. Luckily my brother was with me and eventually I was able to catch it as he threw it back up in the dark. TFTC, definitely one of my more memorable finds!
Saw the cache hanging about but had underestimated the tree climbing difficulty. Might be back with some better footwear
Been walking under this one and noticing it each Friday for the past few weeks while I’ve been on placement but haven’t had the appropriate attire to make the climb. Came across on my lunch break today and did a quick scramble up and to the cache. A nice little tree climb to break up the day. TFTC
Good lord the climb up on a very windy day! Thankfully kangas11 was there to support and guide me up the tree. My first tree climb as a geocacher. It was fun and satisfying. TFTC!
Stay in Geelong for the weekend. Day 2. Accompanied with theashleys7 for caching day to do the Monopoly series. Found it. Theashleys7 has logged it for me. Thanks The Monopoly Guy for bringing us here

After a day of caching on the Barwon with The_Tritonz, McMlookers, anikano and SteMicMitSar it was time to make our way home, but not before finding this one. I had to send Steve up for this one. He certainly has the height advantage over me. I look forward to coming back and doing the rest in this series in the near future.

The day had now come to an end after a day of exploring the Barwon river why not finish it of with a tree climb.
Tree climbs are not usually my thing but I had to take the ladder out of the car before this trip so that wasn’t an option so I just had to suck it up and head up.
I managed to get there ok and the log was signed.
Slowly I’m making my way through this series.

It was time to pick up a few more local caches, along with ilook4geo, being some in the Lara and Geelong areas. Some were more difficult to retrieve, but we had come prepared.
The find was not a difficult one, but we needed our special tool to aid in the retrieval. Once that was done, the log had both names written on the log before all was carefully replaced.
Our tool was taken back to the car and we were soon on to the next challenge.
Thanks go to The Monopoly Guy for a cache with a challenging placement.

Went along with goingplaces2 to pick up some traditional caches, some puzzles and some multi caches. Had a really good and successful day and a very enjoyable one. Caches were found, logs were signed, job done! We were up and away with this one. TFTC.
Swing by here chasing a streak find. Took a couple of minutes to figure out how to get a start, but once I was off the ground the rest was fairly straight forward. TFTC.
Man in thongs was going to be a challange here.
But I took it on and before long the Hominoidea's would have been proud.
I quickly gathered the required notes and was on my way.

I decided at very short notice that I would have an overnight caching trip to Geelong. Having never cached here previously it was certainly an appealing prospect. I headed off early with the bike on board and got here sooner that I thought I would.
I spent the morning caching by bike and the afternoon driving around sampling the suburbs.
Having parked the bike up I was now driving around grabbing caches at random.
Once again I totally missed the terrain and was not expecting a tree climb. This time I didn't risk it but instead deployed a TOTT. TFTC.

Thirty finds today, I was able to pick up these caches after lunch. The weather was much cooler than the last few days which made for a nice day out in G-Town. The sun was now out and the breeze had picked up. Favourite point added for the fun! Thanks for the cache Darth Briji.

Decided to try and find 6 caches after dog training to obtain my dragon souvenir. Didn't read the attributes before I arrived and I am very gravity bound Only two finds for five stops so far. TFTC The Monopoly Guy... maybe I need to start carrying a ladder!
We were travelling through town from Qld on the way to SA, and as I used to live in Manifold St a long time ago, I thought it would be fun to get a local cache.Parked the caravan nearby and braved the windy cold and drizzling conditions and contemplated what a great move it was to Sunny Qld and the Sunshine Coast!!
Shivering too much to find the cache but it must be there.
Thanks The Monopolyguy.

Had seen the cache on a visit last year, but today we had tree climbing grandsons with us. One of them soon in position and log descended to be signed. Thanks.
Well i saw it but the girl in the wheelchair here couldnt reach it without help. Anyone got a raising platform i can lend
Spotted it - fell off the tree lol. Will bring a ladder or small child next time
I don't have the benefit of carrying ladders around with me so I had to get to it the old fashioned way. Geokids ended up playing for about half an hour in the tree. TFTC and the series.
Glad i tried this one after work on the way home. My trade has a few of these TOTT on their vehicle most of the time. Came in handy.

Geelong Day 3
Setting up camp at the showgrounds.
An early start as we were caching in the town area. With us today was Roostaman.
We had a TOTT with us which helped to reach the 1st level, it was Roostaman who took up the challenge to reach the cache.
Thanks for placing this cache Darth Briji

**# 16147** Found on our 2017 summer escape to Vic trip.
Another day of great caching in Geelong with Di Morgan.
We searched around an area we both had not been before.
A quick find and an interesting extraction with a few muggles around here today.
I definitely earned the D3 rating on this one.
Thanks for the cache Darth Briji,

Out with friends and one loves to climb trees! Found with a few choice words. Thanks for the hard cache!
Hahaha this is where geobuddy cracked it! Couldn't believe that a cache could be hidden in such a manner! It was funny to watch; but annoying because I wanted to attempt it but was forbidden. I guess we won't be finding all the Monopoly caches today after all...
Well, we sort of found it, meaning we could see it but being a couple in their late sixties couldn't get it,. Where's our agile grandsons when we need them. Great cache and maybe one day we will sign the log.
