I'm afraid this one may have been washed away when the river flooded last weekend. Might need some local maintenance FelixII
Found after a lovely lunch and beer tasting at the nearby brewery , with a bus load of work colleagues. Good fun to see all the colouring implements and stickers in there . TFTC (unfortunately the technology prevents me from uploading a photo of our artwork - it's a bus with a glass of beer and a wine glass!)
With a cold drizzly day promised, we decided to "break out" and visit Tanunda doing a few caches on the way.
Took awhile with the GPS out somewhat. When in hand had to tip it out in the car. A look through the goodies, a bit of a think and the result attached

ps I'm no artist!!

Headed out this way today to clear up some of the unfounds, was a great day to be riding the bikes to the caches that were of the track, weather was pleasant to us and we managed around 25 finds all up, this was easily spotted and hopefully doesnt get muggled. TFTC
We ('Library Ladies', 'The Jackaroo', and me) are in Australia (from the U.S.) having a great, road-tripping/geocaching holiday!
We sign some of the caches we find as "Team SoExp" to save room in the logbooks.
This was a 'cache of convenience', as we happened to be in the area with a little time to kill.
We didn't have too much trouble finding this well-stocked letterbox cache, but we removed the chocolates the previous finder left behind in order to keep animals from being unduly attracted to the ammo-box.
We're having a huge amount of fun, and cachers like you help make it possible, so, Thanks!!

Found with Roogles!. We are a group of cachers from Texas using the team name Team SoExp. We had to search for several minutes to locate this well hidden cache. Once it was spotted, we worked on our page of the log. I'm not artistic, but it turned out fairly nice. This was our first letterbox of the trip and I was pleased to add a new icon to our list! TFTC.
Took us a while but we eventually found it at dusk. Left some choccies for the next lucky person.

Out for a drive to Burra for lunch with the GOTHs, luckily we made it by tea.... Our first find of the day.
Thanks for offering something different.

Stopping for one night in the nearby caravan park we went for an evening stroll over to this cache.
Sadly I think that this has morphed into a regular so it was quickly found and signed.
A nice park that is not seen by just driving through, a few folk there with their dogs.

Thanks for the logs on this cache.
We appreciate it is not what it was.
We thought the location may have been compromised.
It was replaced it with another small container for a period. Test period.
Looks as all is good. Will look at geting it all up and operational soon.
Re-stocked with all the letterbox drawing goodies.

I was expecting a great cache but it was only a temporary container. Found while driving around the Barossa with my Grandpa.

After arriving at our accommodation in Greenock, and with a few hours of light still available, we headed towards Nuri/Tanunda with iluvtrekking to grab a few last minuted finds. Love the back country road caching - our preferred cache type. Thanks FelixII
This morning was our last in Clare from here we headed off to the Barossa Valley gathering a few caches along the way. Thanks for your cache FelixII.
All good to go again.

We had fun with this log, though it seems I am not more of an artist then I was in high school!
Had saved this one for Hill2Sea #100 and it didn't disappoint! Thanks for putting out a different type of cache and for maintaining it with stationary. Was wishing I had thought of bringing in the copious coloured pencils etc that fill my desk to contribute to your efforts.

I'd rate this cache as one of my all-time favourites
On looking at caches near a christmas dinner we were attending, I noticed this and put it on the must-do list. This was followed by a flurry of crafting activity as I pre-prepared our entry. We came along with our entry and a glue stick, took the obligatory pic (see squirrel's log) and were on our way for some nearby merriment
TFTC FelixII and a definite favourite.

What a fantastic cache. Some of the artwork in the logbook is amazing. We found out about this cache the night before we came up to Tanunda so we had time to prepare. TFTC
I could win an award for most caches found but not logged online. Please forgive this very generic log. If I admired your cache you'll get a favourite point from me and I'll likely come back and edit this log once I've caught up. If this generic log makes you unhappy - delete it. Life's too short to worry over it, I had fun finding your cache either way. Cheers!
The day started with meeting up with Semik and Locus Cache, piling into Harry and heading north!
First stop Nuri!! Was great, as always, to catch up with some Smiling Tomcats and talk for hours!!! Next stop was some lunch in Angaston to fuel up for our Girls Day Out Adventure!
From there, it was a fun and bouncy ride in Harry to part of the Five Oh Series before heading somewhere special for our 100th cache! We diverted slightly to take some photos of the dust storm swirling around the Barossa after the recent fires.
Semik took us to Stone Garden for our first major milestone and what a perfectly special place it was! Stunning views and so peaceful. It was awesome to share this with two awesome chicks

Wish we could have spent another 10 mins making our masterpiece. Thanks for the great cache.

Found with Ookamiash and Kattwhite. What a fantastic idea for a cache. Love it! We had fun filling out the log book. I've really enjoyed my trip around Barossa today. Thank you note on photo attached. TFTLetterbox
Our last day in SA . We were catching up with ACT friends who were also in SA over wine and a bbq - brilliant end to the week! Stopped here while we were waiting to hear where they were and collected this for our daily [^]. Had to do some speedy artwork as the large ants at GZ were terribly scary. Thanks FelixII
We headed to Tanunda to spend time with our daughter and a friend who has newly converted from muggle to geocacher - congratulations to Rob for his wise choice of a new hobby. Will it consume him as it consumes others or will he be able to control the urge to cache, cache and cache some more.
Our daughter, Sagittarian Lady did the art work for us and added our names. We will upload a photo of our postcard soon.

There is a cache very similar in the forest in Mt Gambier (Jacqui and Steves arty pharty fun cache) this was also a goody. Did our arty stuff and left a TB tftc FelixII
This was one of my finds today of totally more then 50 searched and 50 found.
I was just near here some days ago having a dinner with a friend.
Today I had a day off so I rented a bike to look out for some smiles on my Geocaching map.
Finding this box was not to hard of a tast, just follow the trail.
What a nice logbook, it is quit fun to read all the logs.
After writting myself in (sorry, I´m not so creativ) I headed off to discover some more.
I did a bike tour around Tanunda and Nuriootpa, in total I made about 53 Kilometer.
I will made the log entry most of the time the same, this should not show any disliking to the cache or the cache owner, it´s just that this are to many caches for me to remember
Regards from Switzerland.
I would like the cache owner for there work, thanbk you very much.

We were staying in the caravan park nearby so we couldn't miss grabbing this one!
On a brief holiday with Mr Frozen Feet's parents and sister and brother in law and our two nieces, those of us who are early risers (ie, us Two Frozen Feet and Mr FF's dad) went for a walk while the others got ready for the day. Turns out we should have bought the nieces along, they would have liked to have contributed to our log entry! Spent awhile completing a study in green in the book, then wandered back to those still breakfasting. A nice idea for a letterbox cache, a favourite from us.

Found on my way home from work. Not in a rush like usual so this was a refreshing change of pace. No appointment necessary to get to this cache, just a small gate and some olive tree branches to get past. TFTC
Another great find while in the area
Thanks for setting this letterbox cache up.
Really good fun - spent a little while on a page, but was raining so didn't hang around for too long!

Hey Mr and Mrs Felix! In SA so excited to see a Felix cache. Found, got our art skills out (deplorable!) Returned and back on the road. Hope you're enjoying the trip! Pic attached. Cold here at the moment but at least no rain today! TFTC
Yay tftf! Great letterbox and an awesome idea. The SocialHarms has the photo of our page decoration
Found by Mary & David at 1325. Today, we cached our way around the Gawler and Nuriootpa area. This gets a favourite. How our grandchildren would love this. Happy travels, and see you again one day somewhere. Our thanks to FelixII.
Today we travelled to Tanunda, Nuriootpa & returning to Greenock.
A good varieties of caches found as we drove through the many vineyards.
Wandered down to this cache & found all the goods required to complete the cache. We wanted a water theme since we live on the coast but the sticky side would not stick well. Bill tooka photo of our page.
Favourite point given for asking us to do something different.
Thanks for placing this cache FelixII

Found at 5:12 PM GAFF1. We were warned that we had to do this cache when FelixII found out that we were going to be in the area. And what's more they told us that it was one of the most favoured caches in the Barossa! Well no it isn't - no one has given it a favourite expect us - now!
We had a bit of fun drawing and pasting stuff in the book - which we posted on FB and got a moderate response - and then enjoyed the music that was coming out of the nearby hall.
This cache was done after visiting the Jenke Winery so we were in high spirits especially.
Thanks FelixII.

For sometime now we had been wanting to check out this letterbox... but it was either in-use or muggles were present. Driving past today in the new geo-mobile we saw the opportunity :cD Red made a quick find.... then sat down with ronso to write our "postcard" log :c) Enjoyed the idea of this letterbox cache, deserving of a favourite point! Picked up a TB and left a TB. TFTC FelixII... happy travels and happy caching!!
Weekend drive though the hills do to some photography we decided to grab a few caches along the way, Weather in the city forecast rain and out here nothing, But when we got back to the city later that day there wasn't any rain there eaither.. Oh well was a great drive

In Nuri to talk geocaching and GeoTours used the night time to come out and grab some great caches. This was the best stocked cache we had seen oh our trip and we even got to be ftf on the new logbook. Definitely a Fav for the nice stamp.
This was a great cache. Last one for the day after attending the 15yr GC event at Nuriootpa. Found with the_xtrailers & JF. We spent some time completing our logs. A new book is needed as ours was the last page in the current one. TFTC
We had a great afternoon celebrating geocahings 15th Birthday nearby and thought this cache would make a great birthday card. I hope you like our page.
PS the log book is almost full and will need replacing very soon.

We were attending the 15 year birthday bash for Geocaching up the road at Nuriootpa. It was suggested that we have a look at this letter box cache as it was a great one for kids. After walking around the train park collecting a few others we thought lets go for quality rather than quantity so off to Tanunda with friends Hevwalker12 and JF to find this cache. This was our first letter box cache and I am glad that this was the first. One of the better caches we have found due to size and activity required. Certainly a child friendly one. Our 2 geo daughters (1pink explorer and 1funnyhoney) filled out postcards. Our eldest put our names on hers as there were very limited pages left in the log. It was certainly nice to sit down at the park bench as suggested to spend the appropriate time completing the log.
The Geodaughters will upload their postcards when they log the cache, for us the picture is spending time with friends and kids completing the post cards
TFTC certainly worth a Favourite

Mr Tardis was heading home from the Nuriootpa caching event, and stopped by here to grab this one.
I do love a letterbox cache, and this one was no exception, with such great log entries. I spent a few minutes being creative and even managed to score a place next to the famous frog.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache FelixII.

Found with a junior Whobodies in tow. She is a much better drawer than me anyway, so we did a joint picture.
Found while out with Dusty02 on our short holiday. Drew a cool picture with Nanna and Grandad.
The high rating had me worried that I wouldn't be physically capable of retrieving the cache, so was glad to see that this wasn't the case. The spots of rain that had been dogging me for the last couple of caches, held off so that the log book didn't get damp, whilst I was doing the deed! Was pleased to have a go at this award winning cache and enjoyed admiring everyone's handy work! Cache #2144.
What a great idea for a letterbox cache. We had lots of fun exploring the different options here and seeing the previous finders' creativity. It's nice to have something a little different to a park and grab. TFTC, a favourite of ours.
Sitting down in a park having lunch in the Barossa, checked the phone and noticed we were sitting on top of a Letterbox.

A car pulled up just as I retrieved the cache. Wrote a quick letter about our wonderful weekend and got out of there quickly. No time for drawing or adding stickers. Maybe they were cachers waiting for to leave. I will check future logs. Thanks and I have given it a favourite.
Found It!
I've found a few caches like this now and I'd like to say that my art skills are improving. Sadly that would be a lie. My drawing (if you can call it that) clearly shows why I'm an engineer for a living and not an artist. I didn't take a photo since I didn't think it was worth photographing...
Great cache though and great to read back through other people's logs. Thankfully I don't think I have the worse drawing in there! And cache number 5800 for me to!

What a great idea for a cache, and particularly for a Letterbox Hybrid too!
We spent some time here, paying attention to detail.
Nice to have met you while here in South Aussie, enjoy your travels around the country. Maybe we will catch up again some day.

Staying in Mount Barker, South Australia for our annual holidays to follow the Tour Down Under Cycling Race.
It was off to Tanunda today for Stage One and to see the start. Parked the van, walked to the start, then back to the van and wait to see the race to circuit back around this area again. While waiting we were able to grab this Letterbox cache that was nearby. Naturally the card we made just had to be - you guessed it - cycle themed.

Over in Mount Barker with Tyred n Cranky for our annual holidays to follow the TDU.
Stage 1 start in Tanunda.
we parked only 50m from this cache and walked up the hill to the middle of town to see the start of Stage 1. Seeing that the riders would circuit back and come through again we decided to stay with the van and watch them the second time. this gave us the chance to grab a cache. WOW a Letter Box, that's the one for today. So we ventured off and made our card (cycling themed of course) and headed back up the road to wait for the riders.
Sorry we didn't have a camera with us as Mr Tyred n Cranky had that up on the road in case we took too long.

Day 8 of team Seffnjarah and team Mickjor's trip to Adelaide and beyond. After staying in Cape Jervis overnight it was time to move on towards Tanunda in the Barossa Valley, but not before a visit to Victor Harbour and Hahndorf.
Our planned route to the Barossa Valley had to be changed due to the bushfires in the area so it was back through Adelaide and up via Gawler. We passed through a number of showers of rain but these had stopped by the time we approached Tanunda. I was scanning the GPSr for possible local caches of interest when this one popped up close by. At almost the same time, our traveling companions who were leading our mini convoy decided to pull up at the entrance to the park to check directions. I took the opportunity to bolt over to GZ to sign the log. Hmmm a bit more required than I thought so I hastily put together something passable and returned to the car. We pulled out and moved on to find we were staying within walking distance to the cache. I therefore returned the next day to add a little more creativeness to my log entry. Unfortunately all the artistic ability in my family went to my brother so my effort will not appear in any art gallery soon. TFTC.

TFTC.
Went for a BBQ lunch at the "train park". B1 suggested stopping here on the way out as the kids would probably enjoy. She was right! An incredibly clever and enjoyable cache. Thanks! Happy travels!!!!

[Teal]As we head from town to town as part of our "Purposeful Meander around Oz" the Rats and the Mini Rats found this cache. Dad did most of the hard work here and the detail of our find can be found in the Rats log. Sorry for the duplicate log but it takes nothing away from the find.
This was a lot of fun and hopefully something I can back home. See pic in Rats log
Thanks for showing us this spot on our trip.

We spent the day in the Barossa Valley and only did a few caches. After reading the description of this cache the kids were super keen to find this one and we spent a good amount of time here decorating our cache page...... So much so that the mini rats, who love their craft want to go an hide their own themed letterbox cache using this theme.
Our beautifully decorated page is attached.
Thanks for being part of our great adventure.

Well I had to call in and do this one. Don't think I've done a Felix cache since I was in Perth! Foodies I think.......
I was gearing up to do a puzzle but it was much harder than that!! Image sent to CO for approval. Funny how we both needed images at almost the same time today!!
Great letter box. My clear skies stamp got a work out.
Thanks to FelixII and clear skies from TeamAstro.

What a great cache idea and a great area!
Came in with three muggle friends just before sunset after a day of wine tasting. After wondering a little with the gate, eventually got in, made the quick find and took it back to the nearby brewery.
We went through some wine, beer and food as we all made our decorative page.
Returned cache shortly afterwards then sobered up amongst the beautiful flowering trees.
Gets a favourite for all of the effort that has gone into the cache!

So Mr & Mrs M-SEZ decided to come to the Barossa to spend the afternoon in the sun and grab a few caches.
We thoroughly enjoyed this cache. Quite a unique concept we've never seen before. A definite favourite point earned from us. For the rest of the log, see the attached photo. TFTC

Quick find, and great fun 'signing' the log. Joint effort with messy 61. Will upload photo shortly. Thanks for this unique cache. TFTC.
Found it with DoubleHelixClan. Unique way to sign the log. Enjoyed looking at previous 'signatures'. TFTC
