Placed in 2014 and this one found over 220 times. The Fruit & Veges around the loop are now pretty deteriorated, no longer water proof & generally quite gross - No longer bright, crisp and fun to find. A lot of new houses around the road now too. Time to archive the series....(cache has been removed)....
Cache has broken off it's cable tied hook and the moisture got in. Have altered position of hook slightly to keep it off the ground which was where I found it. Tftc
My Monday evening "Stitch & Bitch" embroidery group "meeting" was nearby at Silverstream so I came out early to find a few caches.
This cache hadn't been found for a few months; the log book was wet ++ so I have put a temporary log page there instead.
Thanks for placing & maintaining this cache, TG + TW.

There is a dead cat near GZ. Must have been there for a few days. Thankfully this did not take too long to find. I am amazed at how such bright containers that are so easy to find have not been ruined by people who don't get what we do. This is probably my most enjoyable day caching yet, I really really enjoyed finding such an array of containers, many of which I have never seen before. I found myself imagining what I might find at the next stop. This is definately a trail I will bring my grandkids to if I ever get to bring them to CHCH. Thanks so much for the enjoyment I have had today
I'm not quite an octopus but I managed to grab the cache , sign the (wet) log book and then put it back. Cheers for the smiley
I wanted to get out of the house and round up a few caches nearby in the sunny afternoon, and I had a great time! One of my fav veggies! TFTC!!
Found on 5/06/2017.

Wow what a day, started at 7.30 just as daylight was arriving and the misty rain had me worried, turned out to be a great day with a total of 120 caches not the goal I had set myself (next time we are here we will try the 270 in a day again) but still a great goal at 120, thank you for placing and maintaining the caches we found, sorry for the copy and paste logs we had many to find and only recorded if damage or logs replaced.
Found it on the ground - the top is damaged but was able to push it into the mechanism - will be ok if future cachers do the same LGM
Poked my head into the thicket in a few spots but couldn't see the container. Gave up the search after 5 minutes. Too many others nearby still to find.
Somehow this cache has come detached and I found it on ground. Signed then wedged back into bush. I found the hanger but was unable to reattach on location. Tftc sl
Thank you for a challenging cache
And a great series.
Missed one or 2.
Will be back next week to finish this

Taking the scenic route to Rangiora from Chch for the Duck Dash Finish Line event, which naturally took us past some lollies as well as fruit and veges plus a few other caches .
After having several sugary treats, it was time for some healthy choices . As we appraoched GZ, we felt a little apprehensive but StreetWalker soon located the cache, retrieval was a little more tricky. TFTC.

Paddle chick and I were on our way back to Nelson after spending a lovely week in Christchurch ,visiting family and caching. We decided to do a few trails and puzzles which paddle chick had solved a quick easy find .Thanks for the cache to the CO's
After a few days staying with family in Chch we started heading north again and with no family commitments we focused on finishing the Lolly Scramble trail and hunting down the horses 101 series. The day also included a few other caches with our tally for the day being 92.The logs were signed HZ+HM, H+H, or on some case with our full names.
Thank you to all the cache owners for making this possible.
Thank you to all the cache owners for making this possible.
It was a combination of holidays, family visit and caching. Since our last visit lots of trails have appeared and there were many puzzles to be solved. And a lot of trads thrown in for good measure. We almost forgot what it's like to be cut, scraped, prodded, pricked, bruised and stabbed by the large variety of hedges you can find caches under in Canterbury. We were not deterred and it was fun to find them. On our way home again and trying to find as many caches as pos. In the end they made us stay another night in the area Thank you Team Gaters
Decided that on my last day of my holiday I'd do a blitz in the area before I fly home tomorrow, now a very tired bunny!
what a long (straight) road that is. followed the one or other series... nice caches. All easy to find and spot on. very creative and themed containers. loving it. thanks from Austria
A quick easy find of a fun cache as we switched from lollies to veges. A favourite from us. TFTC
Came out with wee dude on a fruit and vegetables maintenance run.
Straightened out log. New plastic bag. All good.

Wending our way home after Christmas in Hanmer Springs with most of the family so thought we'd take a slight detour and try and collect the rest of the LS series. Didn't do too badly by the end and with a few extras of fruit and veg to keep it healthy! TFTC
Found while visiting relative a couple hundred metres down the road on Boxing day. Nice quick find. TFTC
We decided to take a detour on the Lolly Scramble trail and get some Fruit and Vege. A nice wee hide. Tftc.
Sorry about the generic logging but I have many to log from the mega in Kaiapoi.
I had a wonderful time at the Mega with my Mum and Nanna, I couldn’t have imagined it any better myself!

[green] Out with Hanknstone, Haydn.seek and thestepahine on an awesome 200+ day. We managed to get 210 caches in 11 hours, an average of 3 minutes each. There were a few awesome caches out there, but mostly it was a blur. Thanks to all the cache owners, and my apologies about the cut and paste!
Starting to realise this series is slightly more special than first thought too...

The next on our 210 run finding caches for the day with our team of four- HHSS. Working as a team each doing diff. roles we were able to speed up the find rate quite well and we managed to do about the first 100 with no Did Not Finds but after that the distances increased and the find rate dropped but we still managed to finish the day with 210 cache. The seagnoid has planned etc our route so it was all efficient Thank you to The Seagnoid for this pre work and thank you to the different cache Owners for these great, interesting caches. I just ;loved the huge chupps chup and all the veges and fruit. . Thank you for the cache and another smiley face.
I came back to Christchurch for Mega 2015. Many for a great time and of course the cache

After doing a few more on the nearby lolly trail we decided to head up this way and do some fruit and veggies for a change.
This was our last one for the day and once again, being the 'youngest and most agile' I was voted to crawl under the hedge. Luckily for me I was able to reach over the top instead. [:p]

Was planning on doing this series today but didn't get to far as there were things to do at home like prepare for a Guide training in Temuka on Friday and I hadn't found all the material I needed.
Out and about with Team FARKIS (fmz, alpenmilch80, rosmar, kiwi.bug, indianajill, slieschke) finding a great mix of cache hides and cache containers. What a mad bunch of cachers to be with, loads of fun and games with very little sleep over the 3 nights of the MEGA TFTC.
On a geoholiday road tripping to Christchurch MEGA and around beautiful New Zealand. Our four people group (temyllyl, laalaa, kapeka and myself) from Finland used group tag FIN to log the caches.
Welcome to MEGA Finland in 5-7 august 2016!
On a Mega weekend caching around Christchurch area. Lots of fun and nice places with good caches. Thanks for the cache!

Out doing some of the Lolly Scramble series this afternoon but could not resist stopping for this healthy complement - though just how healthy the Chilli Pepper might be could depend on the capsaicin level! A nice quick find. Thanks.
Found it with Team FIN [janahola, kapeka, laalaa & temyllyl]
We had fun with caching few weeks here in New Zealand. Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was pretty good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and really scenary country!
Greetings from Finland

Tenth day on our geo-roadtrip in New Zealand, and caching our way towards south. Logged using our group nickname FIN with janahola, laalaa and kapeka. We made it to Christchurch, so now it is time to do some caching!
Our team for the Mega weekend was signing as VYV (Vamber, Yorkshirekiwi83 and Vistra). we found quite a few in the short space of time we were together, where I can I will make comments about the cache. We had teamed up back in Auckland and had been busy planning what we were going to target and in what order, of course plans changed even more so when we were down here, but that is part of what makes it fun and I had a great time over the weekend, thanks to all the CO's for placing.
Well themed caches and a great trail, quick find TFTC

Having a great time caching on the way. Thanks to all the people who have taken the time to plan and hide all the caches we have found over the
long weekend. Its been appreciated.
My wifes relatives used to have a farm at this spot many years ago. Sad to see the state it is in now

Returned to the rest of the Lolly Scramble Trail today to clean up some of the remaining caches we missed yesterday, accompanied once again by vistra and yorkshirekiwi83, on a big numbers mission while visiting Canterbury for the Christchurch Mega Event.
Great to move on from the suger-laden power trail to a more healthier altenative. Thanks for the hide!

Day 3 in Christchurch and I again teamed up with yorkshirekiwi83 and vamber for another big day of caching. We signed the logs as "VYV" to save time and space on the logs. We made an early start to the day as we knew we would be going for 200 caches. We started with the Lolly Scramble caches (which we had begun the night before) and made our way up to Oxford, before returning to Kaiapoi and working on the Horses 101 series, finding a number of other caches along the way. Apologies for the generic logs, but thank you to all the cache owners for placing these caches!

This geocache was found on a great day of geocaching with some very fun people that I met at the mega! We were very intent on having lots of fun and seeing the sights that your wonderful country has to offer. Thanks for placing and maintaining this geocache for us to find.
On the sweet trail with team PEGS. Chosen1978, Granvill86a, KiwiGeoswami & Guwapo. Having a blast. Thanks for placing all these caches. TFTC
We considered scrambling under but once I saw the cache I discovered I was able to simply reach through to retrieve it.
[This was our last find in the loop, though I think we may have missed one along the way. We have enjoyed the variety in finding these well-made, themed containers. Thanks again Team Gaters.]

Found this whilst visiting your beautiful country...
This was a great weekend and certainly one of my top weekends spent caching... Mega events are a great way to catch up with familiar faces and meet new ones... We also enjoy the social aspect of events
From the moment 'the Event' was announced we committed to attend... Planning the holiday around the Event is also something we enjoyed... This was Tomboy 711's first Mega and first time to NZ...
We saw so many beautiful places and quite a few special caches...
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for my enjoyment Team_Gaters...
