Placed in 2014 and found over 160 times. The Fruit & Veges around the loop are now pretty deteriorated, no longer water proof & generally quite gross - No longer bright, crisp and fun to find. A lot of new houses around the road now too. Time to archive the series....(cache has been removed)....
Quick find. Another damp log. Was squished in tight and hard to get out without damaging plastic. I think the container is not watertight. Thanks for the hide!
Today I drove to Kaiapoi to find some Geocaches and do a little bit of the powertrail towards Oxford.

thanks for the placement, we have been loved travelling and visiting the roads of Christchurch and the many caches each CO has taken the time to place, thank you for taking the time to place and maintain them.
Popped up the road to find the plum and pleased I did. I am amazed at how such bright containers that are so easy to find have not been ruined by people who don't get what we do. This is probably my most enjoyable day caching yet, I really really enjoyed finding such an array of containers, many of which I have never seen before. I found myself imagining what I might find at the next stop. This is definately a trail I will bring my grandkids to if I ever get to bring them to CHCH. Thanks so much for the enjoyment I have had today
I wanted to get out of the house and round up a few caches nearby in the sunny afternoon, and I had a great time! TFTC!!
Nice quick find. pretty quiet here today. On a 11 day caching trip around the south island. Log signed as b&p.Tftc Team_Gaters & TheWanglers. Find # 3320
Nice easy park and grab. Like all of this series well liked by the Crood kids.
Taking the scenic route to Rangiora from Chch for the Duck Dash Finish Line event, which naturally took us past some lollies as well as fruit and veges plus a few other caches .
The cache had rolled into the paddock so StreetWalker had to use his longer reach to retrieve. It's not looking too appetizing these days, more like a rotten plum!!! Anyway, we tucked it away as per hint so hope it stays put . TFTC.

#12912. Troodles spotted this one sitting in the open, and it wasn't hard to reach. TFTC.
Today we enjoyed picking up caches from the lolly scramble trail, the fruit and vege trail, the cust trail and other various caches around the area. We found 50 caches altogether and had a great day. Caching with Injeanious and theBurnsy we signed the log books as JeJeBu to save time and space. Thanks to the cache owners for placing and maintaining the caches! Sorry for the cut and paste logs.
It's been a slow couple of months for me and Jess.daphne, so we decided to team up with The Burnsy and get a whole lot of caches. We headed off to pick up more of the Lolly Scramble, Fruit and Vege, and Cust trails, signing the logs as JeJeBu. We had a great day and grabbed 50 caches. Our best day yet! Thanks to the COs for the caches.
The first of our fruit for the day. Haha, looked like a small hand grenade. Tftc.

Headed out for a day of caching with Mr. Kiwi, to celebrate my 30th tomorrow. We had planned originally to nail our 400th - but the effects of both recent celebrations and real life in general meant we decided to cruise through the lolly trail, fruit and vege loop and whatever else came our way. It was a great day out together, and we were grateful to the cache owners who take the time to set up and maintain their hides.
So to you all, TFTC!

There were a number of workers in the field across the road so strategically parked the car and Nanzie hopped out and made a quick find. TFTC

What a great container ,the cache had rolled out of its hiding place hopefully it is safe now ,we did have to watch for muggles though . Plums are delicous. Tftc Team-Gaters .
When we did the first caches of this series we decided to grab the rest on our bicycles. Today was a beautiful day and with all caches quick finds the breaks were shorter than expected (and needed by parts of our team). A great loop, thanks for placing them all. TFTC
After a few days staying with family in Chch we started heading north again and with no family commitments we focused on finishing the Lolly Scramble trail and hunting down the horses 101 series. The day also included a few other caches with our tally for the day being 92.The logs were signed HZ+HM, H+H, or on some case with our full names.
Thank you to all the cache owners for making this possible.
Thank you to all the cache owners for making this possible.
It was a combination of holidays, family visit and caching. Since our last visit lots of trails have appeared and there were many puzzles to be solved. And a lot of trads thrown in for good measure. We almost forgot what it's like to be cut, scraped, prodded, pricked, bruised and stabbed by the large variety of hedges you can find caches under in Canterbury. We were not deterred and it was fun to find them. On our way home again and trying to find as many caches as pos. In the end they made us stay another night in the area Thank you Team Gaters
Cool hide thanks. Thought container resembled a passion fruit over a plum but cool none the less. Thanks
The cache had rolled out of its hiding place and sitting there for all to see. Replaced a little more securely hopefully, thanks again, thoroughly enjoyed these caches.
cruising around north of the Wimak. did some 30+ boxes. nice series here.
easy find. Thanks
easy find. Thanks
Decided that on my last day of my holiday I'd do a blitz in the area before I fly home tomorrow, now a very tired bunny!
A quick easy find of a fun cache, now switching to fruit. A favourite from us. TFTC
Last day in ChCh for Pagenz and myself so thought we would play the numbers game today but doing the lolly trail and a few others added into the mix. Thought we should have a little bit of fruit with all those sweets so made a slight diversion to pick this one up. TFTC
Came out with wee dude on a fruit and vegetables maintenance run.
Straightened out log. New plastic bag. All good. Hah. Not as fresh a fruit as first placed though!

Today was allocated to be the day to do a run up South Eyre Rd to sample all the different lollies. Also to sign off other trads that were in/on the way.
Cheers for the cache.

[green] Out with Hanknstone, Haydn.seek and thestepahine on an awesome 200+ day. We managed to get 210 caches in 11 hours, an average of 3 minutes each. There were a few awesome caches out there, but mostly it was a blur. Thanks to all the cache owners, and my apologies about the cut and paste!
Hanknstone, Haydn.seek, the Seagnoid and I had a challenge of doing 200 caches in a day. We started at 7:30am and finished around 8:00pm with a total of 200+. Apologies for the copy and pasting of the logs but there were so many we found that it would take so long to write them all up individually! Thank you for the find.
The next on our 210 run finding caches for the day with our team of four- HHSS. Working as a team each doing diff. roles we were able to speed up the find rate quite well and we managed to do about the first 100 with no Did Not Finds but after that the distances increased and the find rate dropped but we still managed to finish the day with 210 cache. The seagnoid has planned etc our route so it was all efficient Thank you to The Seagnoid for this pre work and thank you to the different cache Owners for these great, interesting caches. I just ;loved the huge chupps chup and all the veges and fruit. . Thank you for the cache and another smiley face.
I came back to Christchurch for Mega 2015. Many for a great time and of course the cache

Out and about with Team FARKIS (fmz, alpenmilch80, rosmar, kiwi.bug, indianajill, slieschke) finding a great mix of cache hides and cache containers. What a mad bunch of cachers to be with, loads of fun and games with very little sleep over the 3 nights of the MEGA TFTC.
Out and about during the mega event with Team FARKIS (fmz, alpenmilch80, rosmar, kiwi.bug, indianajill, slieschke). This was one of the caches we found during the weekend. TFTC!!!
Our team for the Mega weekend was signing as VYV (Vamber, Yorkshirekiwi83 and Vistra). we found quite a few in the short space of time we were together, where I can I will make comments about the cache. We had teamed up back in Auckland and had been busy planning what we were going to target and in what order, of course plans changed even more so when we were down here, but that is part of what makes it fun and I had a great time over the weekend, thanks to all the CO's for placing.

#2014 Found with nic-jay while down for MEGA. Sad looking plum but it's now a smiley on my map. TFTC!
Returned to the rest of the Lolly Scramble Trail today to clean up some of the remaining caches we missed yesterday, accompanied once again by vistra and yorkshirekiwi83, on a big numbers mission while visiting Canterbury for the Christchurch Mega Event.
Great to move on from the suger-laden power trail to a more healthier altenative. Thanks for the hide!

Day 3 in Christchurch and I again teamed up with yorkshirekiwi83 and vamber for another big day of caching. We signed the logs as "VYV" to save time and space on the logs. We made an early start to the day as we knew we would be going for 200 caches. We started with the Lolly Scramble caches (which we had begun the night before) and made our way up to Oxford, before returning to Kaiapoi and working on the Horses 101 series, finding a number of other caches along the way. This geocache was found on a great day of geocaching with some very fun people that I met at the mega! We were very intent on having lots of fun and seeing the sights that your wonderful country has to offer. Thanks for placing and maintaining this geocache for us to find.
A well hidden little cache but even after finding it I'm still not sure I quite understand the hint . TFTC

Found this whilst visiting your beautiful country...
This was a great weekend and certainly one of my top weekends spent caching... Mega events are a great way to catch up with familiar faces and meet new ones... We also enjoy the social aspect of events
From the moment 'the Event' was announced we committed to attend... Planning the holiday around the Event is also something we enjoyed... This was Tomboy 711's first Mega and first time to NZ...
We saw so many beautiful places and quite a few special caches...
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for my enjoyment Team_Gaters...

parislaura, Team jacob and I flew to New Zealand for the 2015 Mega.
Never having been out of Australia before, this was a very exciting trip for me
Today was a good day with caching, pathtag trading and a convoy of New Zealand (fire-mansam & Fuzzyfruit), Victorian (TR! and Snap Happy) and South Australian (parislaura, Team Jacob, Tomboy711, The Travellinbees and I) sharing fun and laughs [^]
Today's tally was 34 cache finds, 1 Mega event attended and only 2 DNFs
What a wonderful thing is a Mega! Seeing fellow geocachers with their flags on driving around town, tooting at those who are at caches and meeting many new people
We made it out to do some of this series and laughed lots at many of the cache hides

We/re plum crazy over all these caches. what a mission putting them all together. Many thanks.
My first full day back in New Zealand and I was out with sharkiefan for a morning of caching before heading over to the mega. It was a beautiful morning with blue skies and a crisp breeze. We took a break from the Lolly caches to head up this way to find the Fruit & Veggie Loop caches. Cheers for the cache!
MEGA Day 2. Fine day for caching with the Dunedin caching crew, picking up Trads and the horse puzzles thanks to all the CO's and cachers we meet along the way.
Found during the Mega weekend on bit of a tiki-tour around the Canterbury back blocks. Great weather, great caches, great fun! Thanks to all the cache owners for putting out and maintaining caches for us to find. All in all, a fun road trip with Boxhill and Yeetrees, we signed many of the logsheets as YGB to save both time and logsheet spaces.

We travelled a fair few Kilometres in the 4 days we were here, and had a great time, with a lot of laughs along the way. Good weather, and good company. It doesn’t get much better than that does it.

We collected these caches either as part of a group assault during the Mega or just Mr & Mrs Bee whilst traveling around with Muggle John seeing the sights of your fine countryside.
Group assaults occured with the Aussie invasion of Travellinbees, Locus Cache, Paris Laura, Team Jacob, SnapHappy, Tomboy711, TR!, and two ring ins New Zealanders Fuzzy Fruit, & FiremanSam
We jet boated, walked up hills, sat in sulphur pools, walked through ruined cities, botanical gardens and general beautiful countryside.
We have thoroughly enoyed our short holiday over here on the South Island and we based ourselves in the CBD, Adelaide and Christchurch are sister cities and it was surreal to be part of that.
We climbed fences, crossed rivers, climbed tree's and hopped around like gooses, we collected many smilies while on this trip and we collected many new friends.
Geocaching has given us many pleasures and this cache was one of them.

A great day was had caching at the mega enjoying the lolly scramble and fruit and vege trails. Found some awesome containers along the way! TFTC [:D
Found with L4TB (the reunion tour). We set off to finish what we started a few years ago. Nearly 2 years has seen an influx of caches in this area. I selected the remaining Lolly Scramble caches and The Fruit and Vege loop specifically for today's task. A few extra ones tossed in along the way. We went from 9am til 3pm and then headed over to the Mega. All caches were good fun and we had a lovely day. Tftc
Heading along from the last and this one come up. As I headed across the road it was nice to feel the sunshine this morning. A little look around at GZ and a cache was soon in hand and my name on the log.

A plan was hatched way back in April to bring a group of crazy cachers from the South Auckland area for a weekend of lovely caching at the Mega. For most of us it was our first Mega and what a blast we had. From the first event cache at the Airport, surprising one of our group with a birthday trip to the Mega (literally 30min warning to boarding!), meeting lots of like minded people around the Kaiapoi district and to the manic days caching to late, late in the night with our mega flags flying we all had such a great time.
All logs were signed as SEAC South East Auckland Crew. Sorry for the cut and paste log, but all the trails, trads and tricks imagined by all the local CO’s were fantastic. Thank you to everyone for their wonderful hides. TFTC!

Wow, where do I start...
This day started with a bog standard event to share my Birthday celebrations with friends before they flew out on their geocaching adventure at the CHCH Mega 2015, when I am presented with one more gift... you guessed it, a boarding pass to join in the group... 2.5hr later we arrive at this cache and the quest to find as many caches in 10 hours begins... bring it on...

Came down to Christchurch for the 2015 MEGA with a group of caching buddies for the weekend. My first MEGA, and it was fantastic- loved every minute, the caching, the events, meeting other like-minded crazies (sorry, I mean cachers!!!). Our group found 283 caches throughout the course of the of the weekend, so apologies for the cut and paste logs- but it's going to take me hours to log them all!!!! All logs were signed as SEAC (South East Auckland Crew), to reflect out home caching base!
