Logs
Despite a pretty thorough search, we did not find it Quite gutted because it sounds like a nice cache to find. Hopefully we’ll find it next time
Headed up to Auckland to carry on working on those caches in the northern parts to see if there were a few that I could find before there were too many people about that would make me want to head back home to the quieter parts of the country. It was still well dark when I left as as it was only myself I got to listen to the cricket without Mrs Dragon telling me to change the station, ah bliss.
As I knew I would be early for my real objective, I took a bit of a circuitous route to Wenderholm Regional Park as I wanted to be there early as generally that was when it was quietest and the best light to be out walking in. Signed the caches CD (aka Cats&Dragons) to save space in many of the logs. Managed a grand total of 43 finds for the morning which I was quite pleased with.
Headed back towards Whangapararoa to collect a few that didn't have too many muggles around. Quickly located and returned to its spot
Thank you to all the CO's for their hard work in making this day possible, in both the placing the caches and maintaining them.

1st of 12 today with the junior dispatchers. What a cool little place tucked back and out of the way! tnlnsl, tftc!
Found easily once we were looking at the right level. Someone had left a muesli bar in the cache so we removed it
After an ice-cream nearby, we stopped off to find a few caches on our trip home. Cache was quickly located once we focused on the hint and looked at the right height.
First cache I've ever found! Actually looked for it a good 4 years ago and never found it and since it as just a teen I gave up completely. Was great to finally find it after all these years great find and cool little trades available
Headed out to Whangaparoa to meet up with fellow cachers to walk around the coast to find "The Best Little Corner of the World". Of course I had to leave early to find just a "few" caches on the way . Last cache before I had to make the meetup time. This was a nice quick park 'n' grab in the first place I looked.
Visiting friends in Gulf Harbour today. Just cruising around picking up some smileys. Dropped off a few marbles and small car. TFTC
Cool glad ware container. We took some sea glass and left a bottle opener. Thanks
Hi Found it ok but probably made a spectacle of ourselves in the process hope no one saw us!. Put a couple of things in and scarpered.. cheers john + Abigail
Nice easy find. Place a waterproof log sheet as everything was damp last time we checked it.
Thank you for the cache, another one to the way to Shakespeare reserve, nice and easy park&grab
Cache was lying out in the open, replaced in a more secure place.
All ok
Thanks
All ok
Thanks
Thats was such a good find. Hard at first because im not exactly tall but once i read the discription properly we found it . And was really fun
Great cache! Good size! Found a dinosaur travel bug inside! It's off to Fiji with us! Make sure you leave behind something there's lots of room!
Spending the afternoon caching in Whangaparaoa. Initially we headed in too far, but the second part of the hint didn't really match. Retraced our steps and spied another possible location, and then found the good sized container. TFTC
I am heading back from the end of the Peninsula and decided to try just one more cache along the way. Nice parking in the shade near GZ today, and made a quick find. A good sized hide here, cool cache cheers
Out and about for a spot of cache detection on this overcast day. I parked up on the street and got to searching. Managed to miss this one on the first pass. Tried a few other spots before returning to actual GZ and finally making the find. Cheers for the cache placement!
Short walk from home. Picked up TB Dr Quackers and will take to UK. It's had enough time in New Zealand.
Whoopee! Our first find in NZ - out for an early walk to counter jet lag. Dropped off a TB. TFTC - we’re from Devon, UK
First cache of the year, first cache in NZ. Arrived yesterday after 36 hour journey from UK. What else to do but early morning GC?? . TB in, TB out.
Heaps of muggles just across the street hanging out. Had to be quite sneaky not to catch their attention, which was quite a challenge with our 3 year old caching with us. TFTC
We were down at the local school on the bike track and decided to walk up to grab this one. Our kids loved the tire swing. Quick find thanks.
Our Auntie, Amy, dropped off 2 caches here recently - to see if they can get back to UK someday! Happy caching to all involved! Best wishes, Noah and Seth from Devon, UK
I was amazed that this one has not been muggled considering how exposed it is. TFTC.
Had to find this one as it was so close to our cousin whom we were staying with
A quick find in the morning before working nearby. I did need to look in a few places, but checking the hint narrowed down the area, and I soon had the container in hand. Everything is in good shape. I picked up the geocoin to move along. Thanks for the hide!
#463. Came with the sole purpose of dropping off a geocoin! No trouble finding it even in the dark and pouring rain. It was a bit muddy but I survived. It rained really hard so I took a photo instead of singing the log so I didn't drench the logbook. TFTC!
Nice simple park and grab here thanks guys ! Good size container, so I added 2 little dinosaurs for some kids !
We were looking for a cache where we could drop a TB and came across this one. Easy find, bit higher than shoulder height for me .
Nice big container, right enough.
Big log sheet too.
Collecting a few in WPA today.

We went for a nice Sunday afternoon walk and decided to do some caching on the way round.

Todays caching day was supposed to be all about 4WD along Muriwai Beach and grabbing those letterbox hybrid caches along the beach. The weather was favourable, tide timew was good as well and the geomobile full of fuel. Only problem, no company. My intended travellers pulled out one by one leaving me alone and, sniff, sad.
Nothing for it but to call off that mission and come over to Silverdale to grab a few easy caches to push the numbers along. There are absolutely loads here and in a new area that's always a winner. It also means I can park in one place, walk a loop grabbing 4 or 5 or 6 the go and move the car again to tyhe centre of the next cluster. Managed over 30 today which although not massive numbers was a nice gentle trip and back here at a decent time with time to log them and do all the humdrum extras before work again tomorrow.
Nice sized cache and an easy find here today

Found while doing map updates in the area for OSM (leaflet) map. Great hide, did my best re-hiding the cache,
