Sorry. Didn’t realise. I had a replacement too. Won’t bother leaving. Here’s the photo.
Greetings from Tauranga. Great coastal walk, though we chose the wrong day to do it, as it turned out with the temperature getting up to 31 degrees! This cache was easily visible, but only the lid was there, no log and no way to add a new one. Took a photo, but maybe this is too visible and someone is targetting it? TFTC

Found half the cache container missing here. Sorry have no replacements of this size. Cheers.
Friday - day fourteen - Kerikeri - northwards with The Seagnoid , toby and William. Zara gets to rest up in KeriKeri again.
Its another epic 3+ week geocaching adventure with The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and Willam to the Far North. What an amazing place to explore. Lots of walks, gravel roads and sand. Lots of amazing trees, beaches and interesting POIs. Lots of kilometers traveled by vehicle and foot. Vehicle breakdowns, making new friends and catching up with old friends and family. Snagged a couple of FTF's, lots of lonely caches and the odd event along the way. Lots of cache maintenance and replaced caches on this trip. But what an incredible adventure!!. Thanks to all the CO's who have made this trip so memorable..

Found with Taybeedragon. I too had taken a photo, but I see someone else has since posted one up. And i see it is now archived. Always sad to see a cache go.
Day fourteen of an awesome, tiring, long, three week holiday geocaching with Taybeedragon in the upper north. Today it's Paihia and Kerikeri. The whole trip comprised of hours of walking on sand, sliding down sand dunes, hundreds of kilometres of unsealed roads, car breakdowns, paddling out to islands, lighthouses, dolphins, goats, events, FTFs, weird boulders. You name it, we saw it. Lots of bisons, lots of cache maintenance, lots of sunscreen. A month is enough. I am glad to be back home. Except that now I have to write up my trip. We averaged just 20 caches per day, but that is still a lot of logging!
Merry Christmas from the Seagnoid!

Found easy. Nice beach location. I part of the box is missing, the biger one. And also the log book is missing. I put there new one. A maintainance needed. Greetings from Slovakia. Thank for the cache.
Found the lid to the cache in its place above high tide, but the actual container and log were not attached . Probably washed away. TFTC
I dismissed "GZ' just as Mrs TWS said "I can see it"
TFTC - interesting muggle note I took a photo of it and its uploaded

TFTC... and thanks for replacing ing so geodad Matini264 and I could retrieve it today on our way for a few Paihia caches. Luckily dad had his TOTT handy or we could've missed out!
Tides just coming in so timed it perfectly!
Beautiful day to be geo hunting.

New one hanging now next to the old one. Let’s hope this one lasts. Much easier when the tide is out!
visiting Bay of islands from Aus awesome place but wet today sludged our way up this lookout sure it would be lovely view on a nice day tftc
After making a dash up from Whangarei to try for some FTFs on the new Motuarahi Island caches and successfully achieving that, I thought I should at least try to find a few more around the Paihia area.
Luckily the tide was not too far in, so I was able to make my way around the beach to this one without getting any wetter than I already was from the kayaking earlier. Once at GZ, the hint made sense and it wasn't long before I discovered the remains hanging from a cable tie. Unfortunately, with no log available to sign, all I could do was take a photo, which I can send to CO if required. TFTC

Quick find but the bottom half of the bison tube and the log sheet are missing. Will send a photo to the CO. TFTC.
Ordered a new cache. Should be back in business within the week. Need to go overseas to sort it!
I couldn't even find the lid. Second DNF in a row. Will do better next time.
Top is still there but no bottom!
As with others.. we are claiming the cache!
Great coastal walk back to our cruise ship. TFTC

I found the top of the cache where the coordinates led me, but the bottom half and the log are probably half way to Chile by now - or in a Muggle's pocket!! 1910Hr on 24 Nov 2017.
Sadly its gone! found what was left of the top, but the rest of it swimming with the fishes
Will send a picture to CO, will need a check

Having walked the track around the other point I tried the beach track for this one. Managed to get my feet wet a few times as the tide was too far in. At GZ I quickly located cache and signed the leaf log that was in it. Decided to go back to a nearby set of steps to avoid falling in somewhere on the way round to Paihia. Once at the top I ignored the "Private Property" sign and managed to find the road. Thanks for the cache placement.
This was my last cache in this area and a beauty too as it was now low tide and a lovely walk around the beach.
Soon spotted your hide high and dry but with no log at all.
All I could do was sign a leaf and put it in the bison.
Needs maintenance asap.
Thanks RussellSchool for all your hides

Last cache on this trip, the tide was perfect. Looked up and there it was, unusual for me on these hides. I have always enjoyed the walk from Paihia to Opua but sadly no time this trip.
Arrived in Paihia as a group of us were heading out to camp on Urupukapuka Island over the weekend. Took a walk after dinner with Jag50 to explore and find the caches in the area. Coming from the cemetery up the hill, the timing was right with the tide out. It was almost 8pm and starting to get dark, but we were determined to locate the cache. Only armed with our cellphones we headed out over the rocks, rushing to find it before it got too dark and unsafe coming back over the rocks. Thankfully my phone flashlight is quite bright, so it helped illuminate the cache for a quick find.
Arrived in Paihia with Aiden29, before meeting up with a group of Westies heading to Urupukapuka Island. We took a walk after dinner. It was starting to get dark and the tide was out so we thought we would head out to this cache. We didn't realise it got dark so quickly up north, so did not have our torches with us. The torch on Aidens phone quickly spotted the cache. We walked quickly back along the rocks in the fading light.
Rainy day in Paihia; what to do? Few things cheer up more than some nice cache finds. Found with feona5. TFTC, greetings from Sweden
After visiting the "Waitangi Treaty Grounds" , we have searched for a few caches. We were allowed to admire and enjoy this beautiful landscape. The hiding places could all be found well, thank you for that.

Nice walk with lots of dogs to visit with on the way. Thznks for bringing us here
SisterCorny travelling Asia and Oceania for four month, now in New Zealand.
Today, we had a full day around Paihia, which we used for walking from Waitangi all the way to Opua,
Almost an empty beach, but two ladies sunbathing right at GZ... Took a while to find the cache, but hopefully unseen.... Great spot, TFTC

Found during a visit to the very scenic Bay of Islands area while on holiday from Adelaide, South Oz. Located the top bit of the container, and have since seen that the cache has been replaced (apologies for the late, backdated log as I'm only just logging the finds since our return. Also took photo for proof of find, if needed). Thanks for the cache RussellSchool!
As per the previos "finder", all that is left of the cache is the black lid. Calling this a find, but you may want to archive/disable till it is back up and running. Cheers.
Next part of the holiday, driving and walking between Whangarei and Paihia.Time to find a few little boxes.....
Thanks to the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

Sad to say I was able to find only the top half on the bison. What a location! Beautiful
Found the remnants of the cache, but the bottom half of the bison is missing. This needs some maintenance again.

Parked at low tide near the toilet block and then walked north around the beach and rocks. TFTC
Scrambled across the rocks just avoiding the waves but we knew the tide was on its way out, so weren't too fussed.
TFTC the co-ordinates lead us straight to it on a lovely quiet section of coastline that seems to avoid much of the tourism traffic.

In town for the country rock festival and had a bit of time to kill and this was a very nice little detour.

Once in the right spot a very easy find. Not quite Piercy Island but definitely a hole in a rock. TFTC.
We're the first one to sign the new log - whoo-whoo. What a lovely spot to come to and I really like the rock formation. Thank you for bringing us to this spot. Grabbed lots of nice photos. TFTC!
Cache replaced at high tide. Walked in the water to it from the toilet block closest to it.
A walk around Paihia from my cruise ship. Logging this late. I had seen a number of recent 'no finds', so I wasn't expecting much. As it happened, the tide was up, and I would have had to get my feet wet to get to the cache location. The closest I managed was about 100 metres away, and then I gave up.
I think this one has well and truly gone. A pity but that's the way of things sometimes.
3 weeks New Zealand - Day 1
Pity, its a verschiedenen nice place.

Enjoyed walking around to this cache and having the beach to ourselves but didn't find the cache. A LOT of bank has been disturbed during the recent removal of pines and I have a hunch that the cache is under it all. Will return to this one another time.
No spectacular holes or treasure holes revealed today unfortunately and the ice cream shop was calling after walking the circuit walk from Russell.
Cute place to hide a cache thanks Russell School !
On our way back to Auckland , but good to walk barefoot along beach first ...

This is my last day in the Bay of Islands for this trip. I'll be back as there are a few more caches to sign off.
What happens to the people who want to use the walkway at high tide?
Cheers for the cache.

Found it. A little less impressive than the real hole in the rock but still good. My first in NZ. TFTC
