Thanks for my first find! I am 7yrs old, and found this while on a walk with mum.
Doing a full paihia opua Russell walk today. First cache on the tour. Added some waterproof paper to the cache for more signatures.
Decided to do the loop.hike today. First find of the day. We added a piece of waterproof paper and signed that. TFTC
After an amazing day on Urupukapuka with the whnau, I popped out from our accomodation in Te Haumi to attempt a few more caches. This was the first and was a quick find. I love tracks like this. Thanks for bringing me along here and for the bendy cache!
17:10 Difficult to find. I walked up and down here several times. The logbook was very wet and dirty. Not writable. Photo as a proof I really found it. TFTC!
Tricky little hide but eventually found it... didn't have a pen so I'm on the honour system
Before leaving our camping here tomorrow, we went for the “local” caches and enjoyed some nice views in the end of afternoon sun.
Thank you for the cache

Late afternoon walk along the track. After yesterdays rain the sunshine was welcome. Caches could not be skipped. Tftc and greetings from Finland.
We are staying at the Top10 holiday camp, so this was a quick out and back walk for us. 3 caches in total within 30 minutes round trip walking distance once we had settled in for the day.
No issues here. It’s exposed but well camoed. TFTC Fullofun.
Day 5 of our Northland road trip, and today is Whangārei to Paihia, the more scenic way via what is called the ‘secret coast route’.
A few caches on our travels today, but to be honest, we just drove past most of them. Handpicked a few to keep the numbers rolling.
Made pretty good time through there, then took a mainly metalled road as the more direct route to Kawakawa. Checked out the sights there - including a train rolling down the Main Street! (Ok, that probably isn’t a big deal), then off to our digs in Paihia. We will be here for quite a while and have a few trips planned.
Thanks all COs for maintaining the caches.

Lovely spot, cache found by hubby. Nice walking trail, nice to be back doing part of the TA. Lovely hearing the birds calling each other.
Happy to find this after a DNF 3 years ago. Quick easy find today but no ink in the pen . Photo of log attached TFTC
Hanging in plain sight, but not sure many people would even know what it was. Great veiws and a lovely walk on a warm Autumn Saturday. TFTC found with Yvettetb
A great little cache hidden in plain site on this beautiful coastal walk. We started the walk on Smiths Camp Road. TFGC
1396. 12:20 pm. I was nearly muggled when I was searching on the way in so I was pleased that all was quiet on the way back. I'm surprised how well hidden this one is while being so exposed. TFT(bend)C.
Loved finding this cache, just camping at the top 10 so thought I'd go for a little walk and see what I could find. TFTC thankfully lots to take photos of when muggles approach lol
I can only presume this was an cool tree.
I went looking for the somewhat "obvious" one... which of course wasn't.
We got there in the end. Lovely track.
Happy Easter
Long weekend and were adventuring around the North for some souvenirs!

This one was a little harder to find and not in the 'obvious' place.

Found with Riser5 while adventuring around the North getting souvenirs for the long weekend.

Decided to walk from Opua to Russell and back to get a few caches along the way. We walked across on the car ferry from Opua and up onto the road until we got to the part of the track we wanted to start with since we have previously done part of this track we decided to miss a couple of the first stages. We had to contend with a broken section of the boardwalk that has been a bit demolished we assumed by a car. Had lunch in Russell before catching the passenger ferry to Pahia and then walked back to Opua. What a massive day.
This was the last one to get on this walkway as if was disabled when we last walked this track to get the caches. Nice easy find.
Thanks for the cache.

A quick find after a decent stroll around the headlands - as we made our way to the ferry.

When I last looked for this one in Dec last year, I was quite sure the cache was MIA, and indeed, a replacement was placed in Feb. There had since been a few found logs, so I was quite keen to turn the blue grumpy into a nice yellow smiley as soon as possible.
The nationwide lockdown then came along, so I had to wait until today when I was back up this way on a FTF mission over at Tapeka. Once that was accomplished, it was only a short detour back to Te Haumi and a short walk along the coastal walkway, where the replacement cache was soon located, the log signed and then returned safe and secure as found. TFTC

Today we did the bay of islands coastal walkway. We really enjoyed the nice views of the bay, the wild bushes an the trips with the ferries. But what surprised us most was the amount of caches alongside the path. Thanks for hiding!
Had to make a trip up north for other commitments, so absolutely couldn't leave afterward without looking for a cache or two.
Headed off along the coastal walkway to this one and soon found the tree stump and the one remaining nearby shrub. Of the cache however, there was no sign, but there were a couple of freshly broken branches on the shrub where it may possibly have been. Thx anyway for the walk.

Unable to find this one with tassie expat. None of the previous logs seemed to marry in with what we were looking at. Mind you, we've been having some fps issues lately. Thanks anyway.
Had another look with frmen1 on way back. We think we are at the correct place, but no luck again. There are some broken branches on a nearby shrub.
It is back in action on the only remaining shrub! Spoke to the track guardian. He has the old cache at home. Now he knows what geocaching is. Man he has done a great job of maintaining the track.
It is missing. The track fairy godfather has done a great job of track maintenance. Suspect it is tied to a branch below the track now!!! Will replace in the next week.
On a road trip north, enjoying the day and pic up some caches. TFTC

Really disappointed not finding this one. We looked everywhere. Messaged the co and we were looking in the right place but still no luck ️
Thanks Russell School. What a great walkway. We having a real Tiki to around Northland now off to see Te Whare Tiriti.
Out on an evening stroll, we thought that from previous logs it may be trouble, but Mrs S found the stump, and I found the cache very close. Tftc.
Visiting from Adelaide South Australia and enjoying your magical country. Staying up in the apartments above and wishing we had a week here. Cache and log book OK. TFTC
Searched all trees and compared every hint and photo but could not find the cache. Eventually the kids wanted to move on as there was ice cream in Paihia
This took us way too long. Was looking for a large stump but couldn’t find one. Finally spied the cache and then noted a rather small object near by. Great walk and views. TFTC
This was a quick find - lucky me I had my eyes on the right spot ! Thanks for hiding this cache on this trail! Was a pleasureable walk in the morning!
During my trip to New Zealand I visited some Caches, this was one of them. Thank you to all owners!
Greetings from Tauranga. So nice to be in the shade as the day is getting to be very warm. Turned out to be 31 degrees. No one else around, so plenty of time for looking. TFTC
We turned up for an event - NOT. So sticking around for some of the local caches. Great track with some much needed tree cover. Added new log here. Cheers
Friday - day fourteen - Kerikeri - northwards with The Seagnoid , toby and William. Zara gets to rest up in KeriKeri again.
Its another epic 3+ week geocaching adventure with The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and Willam to the Far North. What an amazing place to explore. Lots of walks, gravel roads and sand. Lots of amazing trees, beaches and interesting POIs. Lots of kilometers traveled by vehicle and foot. Vehicle breakdowns, making new friends and catching up with old friends and family. Snagged a couple of FTF's, lots of lonely caches and the odd event along the way. Lots of cache maintenance and replaced caches on this trip. But what an incredible adventure!!. Thanks to all the CO's who have made this trip so memorable..

Dropped in a new log. Nice little track, and I am sure glad of the shade!
Day fourteen of an awesome, tiring, long, three week holiday geocaching with Taybeedragon in the upper north. Today it's Paihia. The whole trip comprised of hours of walking on sand, sliding down sand dunes, hundreds of kilometres of unsealed roads, car breakdowns, paddling out to islands, lighthouses, dolphins, goats, events, FTFs, weird boulders. You name it, we saw it. Lots of bisons, lots of cache maintenance, lots of sunscreen. A month is enough. I am glad to be back home. Except that now I have to write up my trip. We averaged just 20 caches per day, but that is still a lot of logging!
Merry Christmas from the Seagnoid!
