Hideeho Thanks for the cache:) Greetings from the USA! Touring New Zealand and grabing as much cache as time and energy allow.
#39 on the Spring road trip with hifiveitslivtime. The location of this one made us a bit nervous, so, we retreated and hifive got all fizzed up reading others finds and sussed it. Well done girl!
Its the Seagnoids Birthday this weekend so Zara, the Seagnoid & I are off discovering Kaikoura. Kaikoura has not woken up yet so was a lovely drive along the coast seeing the sights. Quick stop off & find here. Cheers
After an impromptu night stay in Kaikoura, I spent today finding as many caches as I could and doing a bit of exploring, before continuing on to Christchurch. Spotted the cache before even getting out of the car... one of those things that only looks out of place to a Geocacher . TFTC (3043)
We're visiting from Florida, USA. That was great fun. Thanks for placing the cache.
After a long search we were unable to find, GPS navigation wouldn't settle on a position.
No muggles about at dusk but no sign of the cache either. To be fair, the GPSr wasn't helping much by refusing to settle to less than about 20m from GZ so we abandoned this one for another day.
Nice cache to find after eating lunch on the Esplanade. My great aunt lived in the house that is now Lemon
Tree Lodge.

Our recent multi day Canterbury cache raid was so successful we decided to have another one before the holidays finished. Again we got stabbed, prodded, pricked and scraped by the variety of hedges the region is so famous for. And of course we can now hold our breath a lot longer. A skill well worth developing to avoid breathing in part of the road surface every time a vehicle passes. Just over 200 finds were logged this time and a great time was had finding the caches with a variety of shapes, sizes and placements. A big thank you to all COs who made this possible.
With a few more days of holidays left we decided to head south again and find some caches we didn't have time to look for last week, plus some more off the beaten track. This was one of 51 found today.
Thank you to all CO's who made this possible.

After a super whalewatching tour we found this cache in Kaikoura.
Thanks for hiding and carrying

After a fabulous morning out whalewatching we made this our first find of the afternoon. Clever little hide.
Driving home from chch to Blenheim and getting a few caches on the way.
TFTC. Good hide this one.

Chelzea and I on a day trip from ChCh to Kaikoura, North up SH 1 and then return via the inland road through Waiau. A good number of caches both on the way up and back but not as many in Kaikoura itself as we would have liked but a good trip never the less. Found many cool places and caches and thanks to all the CO's for their placements.
Looking for a likely hiding place where there didn't seem to be any and I spotted it poking its head out. A quick retrieval and hide while the builders had their backs turned.
With a little time to spare before Day 3 of the Lion Conference starts around the corner Mum went to find a dot-day cache. Due to it not being put back properly she spotted it very easily from the road before turning the corner to find a park. Once sign she put it back properly so it wont be AS easy for the next geocacher. Thanks for the cache
On tour in NZ! To safe time and space we signed with CG3 ( caching girls 3)!

I came over to New Zealand to meet my son, who is staying now for more than five months on the other side of the world. Our intension is, to travel now for 4 weeks through this fantastic land and visiting a lot of fine spots on both islands.
Met in Auckland, our first trip led us to the Far North with some spectacular locations. It was a lot of driving, but we think, it was worth the result.
The second part of our travelling route led us to the south. Going via Hamilton with some fine locations, Hobbiton was an absolutely must of our "unexpected journey" . Went then to Tauranga with a hard upclimb to Mt. Maunganui, visited Rotorua to see lot of vulcanic activities, have had a lot of fun with Zorbing and Claybird shooting and drove then to Taupa, to doing Skydiving.
Here we go: Napier with it's beautiful Art Deco district and the great Aquarium was the next stop.
Final destination on the North Island was Wellington, were we visited some great places and met some friends from Germany.
After crossing Cook Strait now we will follow the east side of the southern island down to the most southern point of New Zealand.
Blenheim with its wine yards, fantastic dolphin watching in Kaikoura, the story of earthquake in Christchurch, following the famous coastline down to Dunedin with its beautiful and interesting places as well as the nice city of Invercargill were our main spots on this part of our journey.
Of course, even if it is not our main activity during this holidays, we will looking for some caches, which are laying beside our route.
So this cache was one of those, we've picked up.
Many thanks to nickjomolly for this fine cache and best greetings from Germany.

What a clever, well-disguised hiding place for this cache. Well done nickjomolly.

During our wonderfull walk with very nice to see lookout the cache searched and found. After completing log, logbook and cache placed back on the same place I found it. Best CO nickjomolly thank you very much for this well done and maintained cache.

TFTC - stopped overnight in Kaikoura on the way home from Gold Coast to Invercargill
Oh, well. I had come to Kaikoura to go on a whale watching tour but the weather wasn't good enough with rough sea conditions. Alle trips got cancelled... At least I could walk around the peninsula (when the rain wasn't too heavy) and watch the seals and find some caches. On the way there I stopped a few times. - like here.
After visiting the northern end of the peninsula I came back along this back street. And when a cache has to do with kids I have to do it (my cacher name *kinderarzt* means *paediatrician* - and that's what I am)... The nicely disguised cache was found quickly and I think nobody took notice of me logging.
It must be great for kids to grow up in this area! Safe and quiet but lots of spectacular nature. So many things to do!
**TFTC** says *kinderarzt* from Germany!

Taking a break in Kaikoura while driving SH1. Thanks for this park and grab. It has had a lot of visitors, the log book is full.
A nifty wee hide that was quickly spotted from the car. Nicely crafted hide.
Thanks nickjomolly for the cache.

This was one of the caches we found on our South Island homeward journey from Picton after 3 weeks touring around the North Island in our camper van. Our thanks to the many CO's for the many great caches and placements which diverted us to many great locations. Sorry for the generic log, but so many caches to log. TFTC
Quick and easy cache after a little night walk.
Desperately needs new paper to write on!

We spent the day walking on northern Kaikoura peninsula with some finds, too much rain, moody walkways and relaxed sheep. Thanks
Clever hide. Log full, but I didn't have any paper to add. Thanks very much for this cache.
Very clever

On a day trip to Kaikoura to see some seals so did a few caches while there.
Was an easy wee find. Still has its smell - okay that sounds gross. Found, signed and returned. Thanks for the cache.
No trackable - not sure there would be room for it anyways.

Like hunting without knowing that it is under a rock..a nifty hide, a favourite...good effort to hide. Thanks for that.
After staying the night at Kaikoura we went on a bike ride. Biking up the peninsula to Fyfe House was beautiful.
Then we biked the back streets and found this geocache.

Clever hide, but it seemed to have fallen over, did my best to replace it, but could be better. TFTC
