Drove as close as we could with goingplaces2 and then walked a bit. Cache found quickly and easily. Log was signed and put back before we left. TFTC.
Came along here with ilook4geo, found a safe place to park and went for a short walk. No problem in finding the container and the log was duly signed. Thanks for this cache placement go to BellmountCaching.
Found at 2:37:00 PMBit hard to park, but a nice view from GZ. There as a very fat spider on the rock. Thanks BellmountCaching
A quick find once I found a suitable approach to GZ. Thanks for the cache BellmountCaching
In the area to grab a few caches. We found a variety of hides, some easy, and many much harder.Signed and replaced as found. Many thanks for placing this cache, BellmountCaching, and for making our day.
A fun short outing with caching colleagues on this cloudy ️ day. Quick find. TFTC BellmountCaching.
After the busy (and wet) summer had finished, The Rats floated the idea of a trip to the area around Canberra and Yass with Steeba and myself. We compared diaries, and had a two day mid-week window where we could make things happen, in the week wedged between Easter and ANZAC Day.
The weather was on our side for the first time in I forget how long, and we were able to make the most of our time opportunity.
A lot of excellent caches were found, and some fantastic terrain caches too. A few power trails, some crafty hides, some hard hides, and even some climbs that I could not do... even with our ladder!
Thank you to all of the cache owners for placing their hides. This boiler plate log does not reflect the quality of the hides. Most importantly thanks as always to my two great caching mates for their company!
Cheers

The Gong Gangsters (steeba, Hoojar and The Rats) took advantage of an extended Easter / Anzac break to head out for another caching juggernaut through the Southern Highlands and Yass regions. Blessed with beautiful weather we targeted a few powertrails and high D/T rated caches.
After 2 full days we'd collected a plethora of finds, made some new friends, laughed alot, pushed our bodies beyond the comfortable level and most of all - had a great time with mates. Thanks to all the CO's for your caches and those who tagged along.

The Rats, Hoojar and myself teamed up for an assault in and around the Yass area for a couple of days- a most enjoyable caching trip with my mates. Plenty of power trail type finds but a lot of great variety here and there, particularly around Yass itself. We started off on Wednesday night and finished up Friday afternoon. TFTC!
Cool to pick up this one today. Nice walk to it as parking close not a good idea.
Decided to finally pick up the caches on the road to Gunning. Barb2e and hatched a plan to head out and find the ones we could.
Thanks For getting me out and about BellmountCaching

Out for a drive to Gunning with Joolay to collect some caches on the local roads. Tftc
This cache was marked for us to do on the way up to Dayboro but we didn't manage to get it. GT37 needed 2/2 caches for a challenge that she has subsequently qualified for. Thanks for the cache.
Northbound I over shot the track to GZ and had to do a U turn as I didn't want to climb that slope, thanks for bringing me here.
A nice quick find on a drive to Gunning with Sophiescout and Courty1. TFTC

While still based at Yass we meandered around different localities finding caches. Yours was one we targetted and found. Our thanks to BellmountCaching for placing this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
The end of a lovely Saturday afternoon drive out to Dalton. I wasn't sure how to tackle thos one and opted for a short walk on a brief scramble. TFTC.
Found at 3:21 PM GAFF1.
I was going to scale the siding, but then realised that there was an easier way [:o)] Got out of the car and spotted a section of original road even with the yellow NSW line markings.
Thanks BellmountCaching

This weekend has been planned for some time...postponed once but not again. That trip is Canberra to Bogan shire and back again... hoovering up as many counties as possible.
So Aquilus1 and I set off a little late, due to other familial duties, but we made good time stopping many times to make sure we have all counties and interesting oldies/DT.
Sorry for the generic logs.... we have a lot to log!

Forgot to bring a pencil to log but will get back on future adventures. 7yo geokid said he was the king of the castle finding this one TFTC
Parked 160m north of the cache at the first spot after that I could pull over. Absolutely beautiful countryside. Lucky there was a track to walk back along the ridge and didn't have to go along the road. TFTC
After finding some caches or this way last weekend, I felt the need to return again to find some more.
A bit of a steep scramble up from the road.
Thanks for the cache.

This cache appears to be in need of owner attention. The weather has taken a toll on the container and it has almost disintegrated, sorry we didn't have a replacement.

Perfect weather to be out and about, in the Yass valley, with au.fait, where we found ourselves amongst caches bearing names of CO's from near and far. We were hoping to learn a little more about the CO's themselves, but that was not to be. This is the type of cache we really enjoy finding - a cache with a story, it gets a FP from us for location.
Thanks to 'BellmountCaching' for placing & maintaining this cache for players to find.

This one became a tad more of an adventure than anticipated. Phetlern had parked in the cutting so it was straight up the rocky cliff. Unfortunately the rocks were unstable so I found myself unsupported and flat against the rock face. I did a name to extricate myself safely I’m sure there must be a more sensible way to access this cache TFTC Belmount Cachers

Noticed a series of caches published the other day and was super excited that they were close by. We decided to make the most of our Saturday by geocaching, so we started on the Hillview Drive onto Greenwood Road and then followed the Yass River Road and we ended up on Gundaroo Road.
We noticed two caches down the road towards Gunning, so we had to go and get them before turning around and headed back to Gundaroo for lunch. After a great lunch and a good rest, we left and started off by finding the Gundaroo bridge cache. A quick easy find and we were back on the road again heading along Sutton Road and down to Mulligans Flat Rd and before long we were driving into Bonner, ACT. We decided to call it a day and headed home on the Barton Highway.
All caches were in good condition and replaced as found, and a big thank you for placing all these new caches out there for us to find and enjoy.

Annual weekend caching trip to Canberra saw StumbleTrip and I head home on a slightly different road than the Federal Highway.
It was a lovely drive out this way, visiting towns that we wouldn't have otherwise been to if it wasn't for Geocaching.
All caches we attempted were found bar 2 due to muggle activity.
Logs signed in some version of our names or ST/SM
Unless otherwise noted, all caches were in good condition
Thanks Co's!!

Easy find once you get to GZ. There's no parking so we just pulled up to the side of someone's driveway and walked down the track.
Was looking to get out of the house today and go for a drive to get closer to my next milestone before I hit up a powertrail in a weeks time! Decided to come out and do some country driving with mattyu94 who was keen to join me for the afternoon!
The goal was to drive along the country road through Gundaroo, Bellmount Forest, Gunning and an extra side trip to Dalton!
We ended up with 24 finds and 2 DNF's
Still plenty of caches left out this way too for future adventures!
**End of Cut & Paste**
---
We parked on the opposite side of the road to this one, as we didn't want to walk along the track!
So instead I just scrambled straight up the side of the rocks, which was fairly easy.... coming down though seemed much harder and daunting!
Took the TB that resided in the cache, will travel with me for a bit!
Thanks!

On our way for a day out around Crookwell, for their annual garden festival. The sun is shining, recent rains have made the landscape green again - a lovely day to be out. An easy find here thanks BellmountCaching.
On yesterday's Sunday, ALL7 and me went up via Goulburn to all this roads on Gundaroo, Gunning, Breadalbane, Taralga, Crookwell on our way back to Goulburn for the fantastic GIFF (Geocachers International Film Festival) event at evening time so what a really big long day through nighttime before we went back home to Canberra. We had really sore bodies but our hunt happily went well worth.

ACTchil, Banjo geopup and I were on our way home from an overnight camp at Gunning after getting up this morning to some clouds. We were hoping for a town of smilies except for 1 very tricky cache that we need to go back for. We pulled up and out we got and I thought to myself got to be an easier way. Anyway got to the track and got close to gz signed log book and back to the car, the sun was out now so day for caching. tftc BellmountCaching

Today was a family caching trip through Sutton, Gundaroo and Gunning ending up in Goulburn for tea. It was a great day driving through a very scenic route and an enjoyable day collecting the caches along the way. Parked up the road in the properties driveway and walked back the 160m to the cache. Nice bit of history to read with this cache placement, thanks for that. Easy path along but did get a few good looks by those driving by. Cache in good condition and log soon signed Thanks for the cache BellmountCaching!
Gotcha ! On my caching expedition this month I added this one to my list of finds. Catching up on my logs for the month. TFTH. Found this easily enough, nice location.
Thank you for the cache. Log signed and cache replaced. *OCW Throsbyonchurch*.
Found -- 3:15:00 PM -- SL TFTH. Thanks for bringing us here to this location BellmountCaching. Cache in good condition.
Planned heading into Canberra for more caching following the three cache finds at *Bellmounts Forest*, however with the original plans going out the window two days prior I was left with no backup plan. Found myself in a dither meandering around the ACT trying to find easy traditional caches to find - not a good thing when you travel some distance to be here - lesson learnt. We did find ourselves at a mall near the airport with the kids spending their gift cards and then a trip over to the War Memorial. All ended well.
We didn't have any trouble locating the cache. Nice little walk with some interesting history. Good to see couple of familiar cacher names in the log from my area.

Visiting the Canberra area from Brisbane and today decided to do a road trip from Canberra to Yass, Gunning and Dalton. The caches we attempted took us to many spots out in the countryside. Apologies for the generic comments, however due to the number of caches done over 5 days in Canberra, it would have taken me ages to do separate different comments for each one. It was a great day of caching and thank you to all CO's - well done.
On a day trip starting in Canberra and going through Yass, Dalton and Gunning before heading back to Canberra via Sutton. It was a very warm day but we did end up with over 30 finds. Read logs before this one so we knew to take the track. Fairly quick find and a TB was also retrieved from the cache. TFTC.
A fun and crazy race as we scrambled up the siding. Then a meander back along the easy path via the roadkill. TFTC!
There was no road following today as nibletricecakes, b0tmun, darkonas delights and myself all made a mad scramble up the siding to gz. It was only once at the top that we found the easier way up. Great views up here. TFTC
Nice location and good effort required to get to it. A lack of parking nearby was an issue for us.
Thanks for the cache
