Over this way to take geoson to an appointment so need a quick find to fill in some time.Easy find here today. Was more of a challenge to remove from hiding place then expected.Log is very wet, although paper holding up ok. Difficult to write on and remove from case. TOTT helped with this.May need some TLCTFTC!
Not today junior. Looked in the hidey holes but didnt want to put fingers in the crevices
Once we got past the hairy guardian, and reached into the dark hole, it was a piece of cake
We looked and looked and then could not understand how we missed seeing it. TFTC.
A day out caching with Mr CuriousQuest at the Sunshine Coast.
This was the last cache of the day. A quick find was made and the log signed. TFTC

A drive to the sunshine coast with Willis007 and Bella (geodog) to continue collecting caches on the sunshine coast LGA. Today was to continue with the Sunshine coast LGA challenge and to support E smileys Celebration event. We worked our way around the coastal areas collecting caches and spending time at caches that were not there . It was a fun day and will still have to come back again to this area to finish off the challenge.
This one was on our way to the event, a quick find here we signed the log and replaced all as found, onto the next one. Thanks for the cache all good with this one.

Thanks for the cache and taking us here hulioxxx. Took us awhile to find as coords/map was sending us on the road! Thanks for Snickersallan for persisting, it was in the first place where she looked.

Enjoying my two day visit to the Sunshine Coast with geo friends. We decided to venture out into the quieter suburbs for a while and came across this good hide. We dismissed this one at first but after coming up empty handed, we had another look and bingo, soon had cache in hand.

Cheers hulioxxx and happy caching!

Woohoo, I finally got it! Today went for a ride to grab a few stray caches. It was a bit drizzly, but that wasn't going to deter me! I have struggled with this one for so, so long. I honestly thought this one was gone when I first attempted it, but it wasn't! Finally after all of my numerous attempts, galsnboy reached out to me and supplied a hint, which I graciously snapped up! Huge thanks to them for all their help!!
Today I rolled back down the hill to this sign and using both hints, I pieced it together and lo and behold, there it was! Turns out I misinterpreted the hint from the very beginning! All is not what it seems!
Thanks for the challenging cache hulliox, easily deserving of a FP from me!
Brought some TBs along.

Escaping the 3 day Brissie lockdown with a trip up the coast to find a few caches. No problems locating this one.

We did a little late night Christmas walk along past this cache today and yes, it is still here. It had moved slightly from where it had been but all good. JDOutdoorsAUS, you are welcome to inbox us if you would like a clue!
Probably my third time here and it still is doing my head in big time. This one is so well hidden. Perhaps the local bull ants have set up their nest on it, but I doubt it.
A lovely morning in this area led me to this cache. With the hint the cache was found without much searching. What a good cache it is too! Log extracted and signed and cache returned where found. Thanks hullioxxx for placing it here for us to find.
Wanted to fill a calendar date on our cache calendar and had some time to fill in while waiting on a mechanic nearby. Picked this one and while MrsWallaby went one way, WallabyTim went the other and made a quick find. TFTC
First thing we went to then discarded and carried on.And carried on!!.
The obvious works best.

Out and about on the coast waiting for the little one to finish a workshop stopped to pick up the cache here TFTC
Took a walk to see if this one is still there as we live very close by - yes, it is still in its hiding spot, so you need to go look again!
No luck today. I believe I found where the cache used to be, but is no longer there. CO hasn't been active in a while so maybe someone else take up ownership?
10:25:00 AM. After a walk at the beach this morning we decided to have a look for this cache on the way home. It has been on the radar for to long. Walked to GZ and me looking one way and the better half the other. She made the find on a well camoed cache. Log signed and cache rehidden. Thanks for the cache hulioxxx
Luckily a quick find was made here. It was easy to access the container thanks to the little attachment but getting the damp log sheet out was a bit of a challenge. As there were no muggles around and no sign of life at the nearby homes we spent a bit of time drying out the zip lock bag and the log sheet.
Thanks, a nice hide.

Hatzofff and I are on the Sunny Coast for an Event at Alex. Heads, and decided to stay for two days. Today is the second of the two days.
Our third cache of the day, and I had actually picked up the cache container and dismissed it - almost throwing it away. [xx(] Just as well I didn't as hatzofff took another look and admonished my stupidity!
Log signed and replaced on July 7, 2019 at 9.50am. TFTC, hulioxxx.

Previous logs helped a lot. Great hide. Very cheeky. Like others before me I picked it up a couple of times before catching a glimpse.
Sometimes it is a mistake to look at the clue because whilst it is a clever clue I misinterpreted it and made this quite a bit harder than it needed to be. The log was wet and falling apart and I was unable to sign it so I took the liberty of leaving a new log in a plastic bag. Hope it lasts. TFTC hulioxxx
#8027 Cache Found
The rain has almost stopped so I decided to try for some caches on a drive North. I hope the rest of Troywood is in better condition than the sign. The log needs replacing badly it's saturated
Thanks for the great cache and adventure hulioxxx

This is our second time here. Re-read all the clues before coming again and we still could not find it initially. Said the clue over and over and then B I N G O. Yep, we weren't thinking laterally here which is what is required! FP awarded - clever cache and can't believe it's still here.
Wow what a sad sign. Needs renovating. Small wombat and I spent awhile here today. Almost gave up until wombat started reading the activity log out. One entry in particular cracked me up...but I then knew exactly where it was. Tftc
Had us stumped a short while till log reading brought out the humour. Tftc hulioxxx!
The olde sign has lost its sheen,
and looks more like an Inca ruin,
lost in the jungle
I explored the area around the sign for a while.
The cache could be anywhere in the piles of mulch [:o]
It was only when I was ready to leave,
I looked again at something I had looked at earlier.
Ahhhrrrrrggggghhhh !!
That's nice and sneaky [^]

Fantastic cache to finish the day on. I looked in one spot only to come pretty close to a massive huntsman left him to enjoy his home in peace. TFTC
Tftc we did see a big hairy legged thing and wondered it is was a guardian a slight touch with a twig suggested we look further and not far away there is was fav point from me
While staying at Nambour, I just had to get out and find a few caches with my geodog Scruffy.
Well worth a Fav point ... very clever ..

I wonder who designs the road networks in these suburban estates? They must be planned to get the most real estate with the least loss of land to things like roads and parks. This little park was probably an enforcement of the town planning laws as it just seems to be placed with no thought of it being useful. Anyway they always get a use from geocachers.
I strolled over the search area and noticed that the shrubs have been recently pruned and I was a bit concerned about the cache. However, I spotted a likely hide and soon had the cache in hand.

Had to do this one because are grandson is called Troy. Enjoyed the cache. TFTC hulioxxx
Find #586
Not wanting to play at being an adult today and not wanting to work on uni stuff, I decided to head out and grab some caches.
This little guy was the closest cache from my previous find. I quickly pulled up to find half the neighbourhood being industrious and doing they're gardens. So stealth was definitely needed.
It took me a little while to find this guy.. But luckily after a little search I was able to locate what I was after..
Thanks for the find hulioxxx!

Caching around the area today and this one was next up. On arrival I spotted the Troywood sign from a distance. Wow, it's a bit run down but how awesome does it look. It works so well with the Troy theme. After a few photo's it was on to business where I soon spotted a clever hide. Well done hulioxxx.
Nice and peaceful in the park this morning, just me and the birds which is always nice.

Absolute crack up. Had me laughing for ages. GeoDaughter was using cache to try and find cache without even realising. Sneaky. Found with Secret7(P).
A quick cache on our way home from Buderim. Great hide, I signed the log as best I could given that it is all wet!

A beautiful quiet area at GZ. The log was wet and needs replacing - the cache container may need some re-thinking to be a bit more waterproof. Quick and easy find - TFTC
This one had us for a bit. Magellan 710 had us about 8m away from the obvious. Looks like council had been and had a cleanup making the obvious much harder. Anyway cache found and returned as found.
Thought we had it pegged where it was but no luck. Neighbor muggle out the front and it also started to rain. We will be back to search again.
Arrived at GZ and searched a while with no luck, then something caught my eye, what do you know, a cache!
Thanks hulioxxx

This is the first time I have been in this area. We found GZ ok and had a quick look when seirra1 found what we were looking for. We signed the log and returned the cache the way it was found. Thanks for the cache hulioxxx.
billjoy and I parked fairly close to this one and wandered
over to GZ. Was having a look without success till the hint
was read then bingo, got ya!

Decided we'd head north for a sampling of the caches on offer around the Sunshine Coast area today. Got off to a late start & didn't really kick off until after lunch at Maroochydore but still somehow managed to put another 20 smilies on the map. This was #4 for the day!
This is find #1283 for us.
After reading the available information we thought this would be an easy find.
Well, it ended up not too hard but we had to rethink our approach before finally coming up with the cache. Searched all available options, or so we thought & then were a little surprised to almost fall over this clever cache!

#569 ~ Logs are a little out of order now. Forgot we came back for this one after our quick dash back down the hill for a FTF after we had already parked here. Never mind. Cache is all good. TFTC hulioxxx
Just pulled up to this one when a new cache was published so we didn't even make it out of the car before we were leaving again. BUT we came back and and had a short search before *SuzySquirrel* had it in her hands. The kids played in the trees while we signed the log.
