I noticed that this cache has been temporarily disabled for a period of time well in excess of the period of "a few weeks" as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the *archive listing* link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
If you plan on repairing this cache, **please log a note to the cache** (not email) within the next 28 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication. We met the height recommendation - but didn't find the cache. We found a small magnet though, and thought a muggle might have arrived before us. Maybe this cache needs checking - maybe we missed the obvious...
Came to get this one yesterday but there were too many muggles. Problem solved tonight...no muggles at midnight! Great cache, I was just tall enough to grab it! SL TFTC! Replaced cache as found
Stopped off on my way back home from the Amateur Radio NSW (HAM Radio) bi-monthly Trash & Treasure sale at Quarry Road Dural, to find this one. It had been a fun filled morning of HAM radio junk scrounging, and a nice BBQ lunch with lots of friendly chit chat, but now it was time to collect some more caches on the homeward journey. This was the 14th of 18 finds, and 2 DNF's, for the day.
Parked the geomobile on Blaxland Road and then dashed across the park, past the War Memorial and sundial, and up to GZ. Quickly spotted a very familiar bit of caching camo and, on closer inspection, it was CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found.
It should be noted that the cache container is less then 100 ml in capacity, and therefore should be classified as a Micro size. TFTC Crakers_AJCL.

Previously logged under team account BoogieRogue. Re-logging with my individual account. Found it after having lunch nearby. I would say the cache is rather a micro as there is no space for any swaps bigger than a coin. TFTC

Found myself in the area as I was attending the Geocaching NSW AGM event nearby, and had some time up my sleeve to find a few local caches. Initially I walked past where the cache was, as I had my eyes focused elsewhere. After eventually coming back to check out an obvious spot, the cache was spotted straight away. A good place to put this one.

Yet more apartments. Wow this area is really going to change. No problems here. TFTC
#277. A nice quick find on a pleasant winter's day. Didn't know this park was here so thanks for bringing me to it. TFTC!
Visiting this cache because I picked up Poppy TB a few days ago, its aim was to continue to visit places of war significance and being so close to ANZAC day I thought I’d do a tour of the local war memorials. Today, being ANZAC day, the Epping War Memorial in Forest Park was stop 2 for Poppy TB.
This was a DNF for previously but thought perhaps I would be lucky and taller. See now I was looking for something else. Park is beautiful and I thought I might see rabbits for Easter as saw plenty last time no rabbits but the gardens are beautiful
Nice cache found with League13. Love how it is in plain site but still away from muggles view. TFTC
Wait 45mins for a train! No way, time for 2 caches. Thanks guys for 2 good caches close to Epping station.

I was in the area today so parked nearby and grabbed this one without too much trouble. Replaced as found, then got the hell out of this brutal heat. TFTC!

Out to collect some smileys around Epping today. This was the final of six.
There is quite a bit of construction going on nearby and on my initial approach to GZ from the north, I was concerned it may be inaccessible. No such problem, but being lunch time, quite a few workmen sitting in their trucks and in the park right near GZ. Decided to try my luck at "Book End".
On my return, everyone was back on the job and I casually grabbed the cache and took it to nearby park bench to sign. Returned just as found. Nice way to finish the morning - now to get home and have some lunch.

Last cache before catching the train. What a shame this park is up for development, one of the most beautiful, well kept parks I have seen. Started searching in the wrong spot, but soon spotted the hide. TFTC!!!
Streak day 23 of trying to complete my calendar - What a busy day today has been. Was working until 3.30pm when I had to duck out early in order to get my phone fixed. Then I stopped off at a few cache sites in Lindfield in the hopes of grabbing a cache before meeting friends for dinner, but unfortunately two of the sites were full of muggles and by the time I got to the third the light was fading fast which made searching very difficult. After dinner and a game of drop in ice hockey I was still in need of a cache for the day. It was late and I was quickly running out of time as midnight was approaching. I had offered to drop a friend back to their hotel in Parramatta. They were tired and not overly keen to waste too much time caching, but since this one had been found recently and was only a few streets away from where we were driving anyway it seemed like a good choice to target. We parked close by then honed in on the GZ. Thankfully at this time of night there were no muggles to bother us, though I did give a huntsman a bit of a scare. He ran up the GZ as I approached. He wasn't overly big so I was poking my finger near him when he decided to scare the life out of me by leaping away. It tooks me a few second to realise that his leap had taken him away from me and not on me, but it definitely got my heart pumping. Looking up I spotted a familiar type of camo. Although my friend was on the phone at this point, being hassled by some intoxicated friends, I showed him where the cache was figuring he may come across another like this if he does more caching on his own. I was just able to get my hands on the cache in order to sign the log. I'm not short, but I've still had ones like this previously that have required me to use a tool to retrieve. : l with the log signed I put the cache back as I had found it before gratefully continuing on our way. TFTC.
Neat hide. There was something else that caught my eye, but it looked too official. I gave it a poke with a stick, but it didn't budge, so that was obviously not what we were supposed to find. A bit more of a closer inspection, and there it was. Very clever camouflage.
The park was also very pleasant and we spent quite a while here while Liam worked off some excess energy in the playground, trying out most of the devices that were on offer. Then it was back to the station to catch a train back to Pennant Hills where we had parked.

Heading home from a morning appointment I figured I may as well make a few finds on my way. After a bit of a slow start I hit the ground running. Pulled up alongside GZ here, and spotted the cache right away. Despite not meeting the minimum height requirement for this ride, a sticky thing helped me get across the line. Cheers much.
Found. Maybe last one today as the rain starts.
Have seen two of these before one in Bella Vista and one last Sat in Wiseman Park Wollongong. TFTC.

#2995 - Mmmm, 170cms height....Quick find but how to get it. No problem, use the magic nature tool! Luckily I have seen a few of these around Australia and even in Finland! No one around this morning so quick grab, and sign off. There are toilets not far away for use. But an interesting sign above the Ladies toilet!
I was going to search for this cache but as I approached GZ, I noticed some construction workers from the building opposite loitering around the spot I needed to be. To keep this cache's hide intact, I decided to leave it for another day. Thanks anyway Crackers_AJCL. I'll be back!
This cache has frustrated me for quite a while. I did have a chuckle when I finally figured it out and loved the camo which was a first for a novice geocacher like me. I wondered how many times in my searching I'd looked at straight at it and not realised. Found it on Monday but had promised Geoson he could come back with me on the weekend to find it for himself so I left the signing duties till today. The log is completely full but I signed a slip of paper and popped it in (hope that's okay). Now I'm doing this log I've realised I used yesterdays date at the cache. Enjoyed the journey to finding this one in a lovely park, TFTC.
Cache #2 for the day. As I had grabbed one nearby, came this way to tick it off, as well, and it also had been part of my little walk on Sunday, pending signing today.
The biggest challenge was to get across Epping Road in the late afternoon peak rush. There was also a queue of cars next to the GZ waiting to get to the main road but the hide itself is luckily shielded from extra pairs of eyes staring at you.
The camo is very convincing here, nice choice. You see them marketed often through different caching supply stores but only very few out in the wild.
The logsheet is totally full. Otherwise all is good here. TFTC, Crackers_AJCL

Out with FootyFanatics for the afternoon. A gloriously one at that. Have driven past this park numerous times but never walked through this lovely peaceful place. Found within seconds of leaving the car parked closely. Very tricky however seen one like this before.
Found it while out and about on a sunny Sunday with evangt. We walked straight up to this one. Shame about the lovely houses opposite being torn down for high-rises. TFTC
There has been a lot of pruning and work, wondering if this has been moved or disturbed?
Even on a wet day this was a quick find. Nice park. If it had been dry we would have stayed a while.

easy quick find although GPS were making us walk in circles. found this kind of camo before so it was very easy
After a quick swim at the Dence Park open day, geodaughter and I did a little caching on the way home to the Blue Mountains. These are easy once you've found your first. I like 'em.

Today I wanted to go to Macquarie Park, but the train didn't go there. That`s way I get out in Epping.
I went through Epping and sought and found some caches.
A really fantastic place. Thanks for showing.
Really nice hiding place.

Came back with more experience with clever camo hides. Much more sucessful than last time and quick too. Tftc
Not 170 cm but did think I would at least see it and for a grey haired lady - tried climbing on everything nearby for a better scope. Found 3 earlier and enjoyed the park and rabbit family. Will return with a charged phone 1 day for a better look Maybe I will grow by then?
I had to park near another cache and walk back to this one for a quick cache grab.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Found at 5:35pm.
I was out of the house for a little bit trying to notch up a couple of sneaky caches before the weekend was over and I had nothing to show for it.
There were two in particular in the Epping area that I have had my eye on for nearly a year but never got around to as they were almost TOO close and for some reason I tend to leave them for a long time.
'Run Forest, Run!' was my second find out of three in total for the day and I didn't have any trouble with this one unlike my previous find at 'Book End' just a short distance from here.
I parked the car about 14-15m from GZ and looking at what was here I knew it shouldn't be too difficult to come up with the goods. On my approach I spotted the cache which I have seen a handful of times before but it's always a good one.
I took a photo of the park which I haven't visited before, signed the log and replaced back into position. The hint about the height is probably spot on in relation to where I found the cache so bear this in mind vertically challenged people
Thanks for the cache Crakers_AJCL

Second cache found that night and was just as easy as the first. Although my counterpart would've had trouble reaching it without me. TFTC!
I was heading back to my aunts and stopped here for a look around. Once in the right position the cache was in plain sight and reachable.

Found at 4.23pm while out walking with the geoboy. Had to look over GZ a few times but had the cache shortly after. SL TNLN TFTC
I have often driven past this park on the way home from somewhere and thought it should probably have a cache in it. So it was nice to spot one on the map. Last of the day from a caching run and an easy find which at least got the day's average back to 50% as I had 4 DNFs from 8 attempts which is somewhat worse than normal. Then back to Bunnings on the way home for some needed items. Thanks Crakers_AJCL.
Found on a drizzly morning after working nearby. Not much parking around but I managed to find the last spot within 40m of GZ. A very nice park but shame on the folk who dumped boxes of rubbish and an old sun chair just below the hide. All good at GZ. Many thanks Crakers AJCL
Quick and easy find in a lovely park on Easter Monday. Got this one done just in the nick of time as a storm came through and I had to run like Forest back to the shops to get out of the rain. TFTC
Plenty of construction muggles sitting inside their vehicles were not aware of my doings here. Squires at the hint which made for a quick find, TFTC
Arrived to find the gardeners' truck right at GZ, but they were all on the other side of the park. The GPS started on one side of the track where there plenty of spots with the right altitude, but all were bare. Then it settled on the other side where an uncommon, but familiar container was seen. Thanks Crakers_AJCL.

I was meeting the family for dinner at Pennant Hills, so took the Northern Line for a change, and left work early to give me time for some caching. After getting off the train I found a nearby cache and decided I had time for a second, so headed south towards this park. When I got close there were some muggles talking across the road, but GZ was sufficiently out of sight for me to make a quick find of a familiar container. I then headed across the nice park back to the station. TFTC

Excellent park to visit. Great hide. I have seen many of these in my travels. Managed to stetch up and reach this log. Log is dry and no room for swaps or drops. SL TFTH TFTC. Replaced log as found. Thanks Crackers AJCL.
Im pretty sure i was exactly where the gz pinpointed. I don't know if it's still there or not. I climbed trees to get a vantage point, stood on the park gate. Nothing. Im exactly 170 cm, and nothing seems interesting to be in my reach.??? I have also had a DNF in a nearby cache. Could they possibly have been removed. Both these DNFs i have had today were filled with people finding it. Putting this on the watchlist for later
Like rainbow spirit I've seen a few of these types. I have a couple sitting on my desk.
Quick grab on the way north.
Thanks

Had a free afternoon. Good to get the kids out of the house and away from the TV and iPod etc. Interesting hide. Dinkyfish spotted it straight away. TFTC

When to grab a cache today?
Was originally intending to to it before going to the interstate One Day Cricket Final, but ran out of time.
But this cache is close to my muggle friend's home (the person with whom I went to the cricket). So we both ended up looking for it afterwards.
Parked next to the "Forest", and saw we were only 30 metres from the cache.
Walked up, shining the torch in the dark, and contemplated possible hidey holes. Plenty. So started by checking the easiest ones (to my mind) first.
Almost walked into a spider's web - a small but plump one...
Early in the hunt I spotted something suspicious - CIH.
Completed signing duties and replaced.
