Was a great easy find really great for kids to locate, cache has had some water damage due to recent weather
NEF. Put a new bit of paper in for a log, as others, although dry, are putrid. Paper mache like. TFTC
Travelling around Australia using Geocaching as our Tour Guide.
Our few days in Cairns has ended and today we need to return to our caravan in Walkamin, but not before we attempted adding our name to a few more logbooks.

The plan this weekend is to find 86 caches in cairns to help my companion Burgo78 reach his 1000th find by next weekend. This is find #53. I hate fig tree hides, but this one was found quickly. Bring a Helmet, the tree seems to be throwing its fruits from above. Thanks for the hide, best fig tree yet.
Cairns trip 2016. Day 26. Today was my last day in Cairns and it was a day of caching around the suburbs. A mixed day all in all. A huge tree, lots of ants, mozzies and trucks, but I was not able to find a cache.
Thanks.

We found it. Unfortunately it has been muggled. Container on the ground full of water. Placed a small gift in it and put out of harms way. Unfortunately no log or lid on container.
Checked Cache tonight and wasn't there, may have been moved around , have sent a message to Dingbat12 to get some info. will update in the next few days.
That's an impressive tree, but not overly impressed with one of the locals who used the roundabout in the wrong direction as he took a smart alec short cut. He may be the same person who has found this container and scattered its contents too the wind. Never mind it's all there, tidied it up a bit and returned to what could be its hideyhole.
Having arrived in Cairns on Friday with Wife, granddaughter, and muggle brother in-law, his wife and 2 leg biters.
Today we are heading north to Port Douglass for 5 days, the brother in-law and his family have gone on ahead, while we will gather a few 's
An easy find while Squirrel (granddaughter) looked on from afar, city girl
All with the cache

The sun has finally come out from behind the clouds so we attempted one more cache run before we leave Cairns .
Our random route took us past this cache before we headed back to camp to pack up in preparation for our departure tomorrow.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.[font=Verdana]

Three teams - 4 people - circled and we all checked a particular area at some one time or another. It was Speedmistress who circled the area again and looked again and came up with the cache container. The log book is very wet and hard to write in. SL TFTC
Seeing Red..... Ummm....... Red flowers, red fruits, red stickers, red names.... sooo much red..... Circle, circle, circle.... around and around, looking and looking.... Ahhhh...... calling Muff1 team and Ozdog..... I've found it. It seems my eyes were just a little keener then the others. Great cache hide. SL TNLN TFTC
Decided to get out + about this Friday. The weather was overcast with the odd free carwash thrown in. This made the temperatures very comfortable. Got half organised and met up again with my good friends Ingrid and Walter. Together we criss-crossed the landscape and enjoyed my treasure hunt with their company and insights (when needed).
Found treasure swiftly and in wet condition. +/-0. T4TC.

Nice quick find for us yay! But log is saturated CO. Hello from the Gold Coast and thanks for another cache north QLD!
First visit and too many juggles, but no problems second time and stumbled upon it straight away. It was wet so we dried it out and added a couple of swaps. TFTC
About to give up then geokid spotted it. Emptied out water in cache but log ok. TFTC
Up in Cairns from Townsville, visiting family, and decided to find a cache or two. Arrived at the GZ with two of the Geokids in tow. Geoson Braithan {aka Wolffman} quickly made the find.
Took and left nothing. Log signed. The cache container and contents were found to be damp, but still in reasonable condition. Finding this cache has now given me a total find count of 1303.
Thanks for the Cache hide zero30six {BA}
