This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

I think this cache may have been consumed by the Parramatta Light Rail project. I had a good look around and it’s a construction zone. See pics. There are a few good little spots where it could be replaced. Good walking track.
The coordinates were taking me to where the construction site is. Had a quick look on other side of path but unsuccessful.
Needed a cache to fill my statistics, almost forgot. Thankfully this one was nearby. Log is ful. TFTC
Stopped off after leaving the Amateur Radio NSW (HAM Radio) bi-monthly Trash & Treasure sale, at Quarry Road Dural, for this one. It had been a fun filled morning of HAM radio junk scrounging, and a nice BBQ lunch with lots of friendly chit chat, but now it was time to grab some caches while on the homeward journey. A total of 14 finds, and 3 DNFs, for the day.
No luck for me at this one today. The only colourful items I could see at GZ was a discarded purple parker and a yellow plastic bag. Curses, defeated by a D1 hide! TFTH anyway monkeydoodle_k.
Well, I am way way behind on my logging... So I decided that being the first day of the new year, it was the ideal time to catch up... Except it's now the second day of the new year...
This was found on a visit to Sydney for a family funeral and while staying with my brother who lives nearby. I remember this being a nice easy find, very late in the day. Oh yeah, and the log was completely full, so I took a photo. TFTC

Fun, quick little find while taking my two doggies for a walk. Didn't have a pen on me however I took a photo for proof TFTC
TFTC! A spooky little walk in the dark from the nearby cul de sac.
I managed to make the find after a few minutes co-ord hopping.
One log is definitely full - on anti smudge paper. I didn't check the other in my bug covered state.
Thanks CO

#3623 - Cycle up here from the station. Enter the bush to the co-ords - where oh where. HA. It was watching me all the time. Many thanks for the CO ***monkeydoodle k*** for establishing and maintaining this cache so we can seek out these special places.
Located at 4:14pm. Another very quick and easy find after work. Спасибо! תודה! L’chaim! TFTC!
Have been meaning to come and get this for a while now. Took the opportunity this afternoon to come and make the quick grab. Tftc
**CUT & PASTE BIT:**
I had a ‘flex’ afternoon off work with the goal of walking from Parramatta to Hornsby. Found 3 caches, then went back to Parra Westfield to buy an iPhone charger cable which I’d forgotten. Doh! 2 hours down and I was back where I started. Eventually arrived Hornsby Railway Station in the dark after 8 hours, 24Km, 44,500 steps and 8 cache finds
**END C&PB.**
I'm a fan of puzzle caches so this one had come to my attention. Glad to see that GZ was hidden away a little bit and not in sight of the general muggle population. As it turned out I walked up to the cache straight away for an easy find. I've taken a photo of the cache, the material (?) on 2 of the rings seems to have degraded a little, but hopefully I will still get useful co-ords for 'Big Plan Goes Wrong'. Awesome painting on the cache page. TFTC!

Previous logs both helped and hindered the finding of this one. Despite contradictions there, my eyes were the best resource. TFTC
With some business nearby I checked out some caches in the area. Looked too high for this one but eventually spotted and did the business. Visited my Mary Hyde virtual TB. TFTC monkeydoodle_k.
All quiet about this morning making for an easy find. Log is full so photo proof attached.

Got a little worried when I found the log on the floor away from the cache. Found the cache and put the log back it is full though.

I parked my car at the end of Denham Place and followed the path towards GZ. Once there I saw the likely area for the hide, as I started looking for the bison a muggle was approaching so I backed up further into the trees. Oh, what's that, with having changed my angle of searching the Colourful bison was in plain view to me.
I signed the log and returned the Bison as found.

I set off to look for 4 caches with geodad, geokids, geonephew and geoniece in this area. Unfortunately, despite spending a great deal of time here near, and likely at, GZ, no find for us here today. Maybe next time....
Late evening find. We found the bison tube, but there was no log
Left a temporary log. TFTC

Had some time to duck out with the goeWife to pick up a few caches before soccer presentation this afternoon. This was the third for the morning. I don't normally hunt down traditionals but the associated puzzle cache had me intrigued.
Parked at the nearest off street and took a short stroll to the start of the path. After a short search, the stripey object was discovered. The geoWife escaped to take shelter from the man eating mosquitoes while I conducted some scientific experiments. Fingers crossed I have something useful with which to solve the puzzle.

Found the Cache but the container needs some repairs and can only make out 2 of the 4 colours on it Thanks
We agree with the previous finder that the colours are a little difficult to make out although not impossible.
Replaced the cache with a temporary bison that is not very tidy but should do the job.
The paint we had at home has dried off completely so geodad had to order some.

A relief to find after a DNF on the last cache at Dundas station. Thanks for showing us this track as we have never been here before. TFTC

Today we decided to do a cache check on all of our caches since geodad's hand is better and he finally had some free time.
The paint on the top band of the cache was cracked so if you would like to verify what the top colour is please feel free to email me.
Meanwhile geomum is painting a replacement cache and we will substitute it by the end of the week.

Having just down the near by train spotted at Dundas Station we walked over to this one. We did wonder about this being a micro in the bush and being a D1. As usual with a D1 we took a while to spot it as it was not until we shifted to a few different position that we spotted it. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
To keep my short streak going I went out after work to day. Want to grab 4 in this area but only found 2. But at lest I got 2. TFTC. I have taken a photo to help me solve a mystery.
Its been a while since I walked along this track and I must say I was pleasently suprised by the improvement of bush quality. Always a nice thing to see. When I made it to the GZ like many before me I looked around for quite a while, making things unessescarily difficult before finally spotting the cache. I don't know why, but this style of cache is always very difficult for me to spot. Thanks
I spent a long time looking in the wrong place, convinced that it was there. I ended up with no choice but to expand my search and found it quickly afterwards. TFTC!
Visited again to do something that we didn't do last time. Owing to circumstances, the task remained incomplete, but we were able to muddle through at the other end.
CO's dad is a very clever man. This is such an awesome idea. Yep, I'm making a fan club! TFTC.
Another cache inside 10km from home near the AGM. A large tree has fallen near GZ. Fascinating colours on the bison, hmmm which are the true ones? This means I will have to return to the area for the follow up!

Was down here doing some tree assessments to knock down as they are environmental weeds and stopped to do this cache. Don't worry if I need to knock it down will replace it. Surprised about the d1 rating. But still quickly found. Tftc no pen today so left a fingerprint with mud but didn't work too well on the walk in the rain paper.
Took a while for GPS to settle. But eventually just dived in & soon had CIH. Love these little bits of bush land in between roads - thanks for bringing me here.

Found although with this mornings CRAP traffic I didn't think I'd get anywhere today let alone have time to grab a cache while in this area.
SL, which was difficult. I hate this type of paper. I can never seem to get my pen to write on it successfully.
Collected info for the multi but at this stage I can't see how it helps.

This took longer to find than it really should have. GPS was a bit out to start with and lots of potential hiding places for a cache this size but got there in the end.

Oh the pain as Geohubbie was bitten by ants FOUR times trying to get to the GZ. Huh said Geowife, I've already been through there with the kids so off she went. And was bitten too! Many adult words were said and we still didn't find it.
On the bright side we did see a water dragon lizard at the nearby creek which was magnificent!

After no success with a new one nearby and a multi close to it, I found this as a relief. TFTC.
Came to get this one with a view to doing the associated puzzle cache. A quick find then we were off to the next cache.
A bit of a faded coloured bison, but with a good ray of sunlight I could see the traces.
However not enough time today to complete the accompanying puzzle cache.
Thans.

Had to search for a bit but as it was getting darker I pulled out my torch and soon had it spotted.
After ducking into Ermo to check the Geocaching NSW postbox, I swung past this on the trip back north. Nowhere to park on Kissing Point road so a different approach had to be made. A bit of a walk along the path behind the houses in the nice bush and the cache was found without too much trouble. Noted the info, now I will have to look at the other cache to see if I can make use of it. Thanks monkeydoodle_k.
Came past after a meeting in Parramatta. Parked nearby and walked over. Found relatively fast and SL. Then got the required info needed for the ? cache nearby....OR did I??? TFTC.
A friend recommended these caches. Just time for one today. I wasn't sure what I was looking at but took a photo which turned out differently to what I remembered seeing. Chatting with Alfyboy later showed that my eyesight was 50% right and the camera 75%. Fascinating. Thanks monkeydoodle_k.
Last time I was here was for a multi I think. Found the cache quickly and noted what I needed. Thanks for the little hide.
It took a while, but in the end it was a simple find. TC reminded me to expose the container to some sunlight to get the full effect. Thanks for the hide.
Parked across the road in the vacant building site entry and walked to GZ. Like many others before me, not found in the first place I suspected. Nice hide and TFTC
