Attempted this cache with 'sesblocker' while spending a beautiful autumn day in Harrington. We weren't that confident but thought we would have a go anyway. Searched for 30 minutes - to no avail. Plenty of natural camo for it to blend into. Maybe next time.

Sadly archiving, 3 DNFs from seasoned veterans one of whom found the original cache.
Sorry Daedalos, I'm too far away to maintain these days

Searched and searched with 'the neighbs', but came up empty handed. Now, not to look too sus coming out of the sand dunes with the geo-wife.

We found the previous cache here and thought we were on the right track (or is that tack?) but after a search at GZ and the general area we still hadn't found it . . . . . any sauce or any coffee favoured milk were unearthed but unfortunately no cache. Not saying it's not there, it's possible we just missed it. A great location for a walk (and a cache) and we were pleasantly surprised with the new smooth walkway surface since we were here last. Thanks anyway latanzi.

Found during our January Family holiday to the NSW Mid North Coast, camping at the Big4 Caravan Park in Harrington. 4th find of the holiday.

Third and last find on our after dinner walk. Took a bit of searching around the dunes but finally had CIH. TFTC.

Bit of a late log, sorry latanzi.
Found while in Harrington for work.
I was very surprised to see the opening completely blocked at the moment with sand piled high up over the rock wall. There was only a small lagoon at the head of the river. The main opening was back towards the start of the wall. Not much action for the Sea Rescue anymore?
Thanks and Cheers from Browngang.

Found at 2:19 PM GAFF1. We were so pleased that Latanzi took over this cache to ensure that it keeps on going. The story of the area by Daedalos and the location make this a wonderful cache.
When we did this cache the first time we walked the 800 odd metres from the car park and then noticed that there was a faint track along the beach and behind the dunes where you could drive to GZ. So this time do you know what we did? We found the track and drove to GZ [^] The sand was really soft and we should have really dropped the pressure in the tyres, but that would mean waiting 10 minutes to deflate them and then another 10 - 15 minutes to pump them up again - just a waste of caching time Red Face So with a fairly powerful engine at our disposal we literally ploughed on and got to within 35 metres of GZ in just a few minutes Big Grin
The original themed cache covering was still there and a quick find was made with excellent co-ords. This was another great adventure and one that we will remember - again [^]
Thanks latanzi.

Didn't look too hard as had geokid trying to run down dunes but great to have a reason to come out here. Pity you have not had more visitors.

Somehow I had missed out on finding the original cache so tonight was a good opportunity between the showers to get on out and find it. Great coordinates meant a quick 'joint FTF' find with GCookie.
Left: a pair of disposable scissors.
"Diggin` It", Discover Me Tag, Leigh's Red Travel Racer, and Mr Knexpert's TB #3 thru for 'mileage'.

2010 GAFF1 NICE to be able to revisit this area. (Even if it was between some much needed showers of rain.) As we pulled up near the coastal watch building they were packing up from a meeting so there was absolutely NO muggles out at GZ Smile Joint First to Find, with MVMB
Good coordinates from the original cache meant a quick re-find Wink Left a Correct Site Marker
(When I had gotten home I had been tossing up whether to go a lot further afield for a potential FTF, but with heading out for a meeting to hear about how so many are being persecuted for their faith I was excited to see that another cache had popped up much closer in my caching zone. Now just x 4 caches to find within 80 km - and x 2 Events to Attend )
Will bookmark this for the Night Caching elective, and for the FDF Challenge cache.
Brought through for mileage: 12-12-12 Event, 3 Bros NSW, Auckland NZ'13, B 2 B Travel ingot, CII-35Z, CITO - Upper Swan and Beyond geocoin, GCookie EARTH Cache 10 year Celebration Coin, Hello Cocky TB, Iconic Bridges 2012, Kengu, cache critters Baa, Neigh Neddy, and Oink, NZ Mega 13 signature, Oz Mega 2014 GCookie, thank you - moliva, TransAustralia, and trackable shirts.
