I found this cache as a member of the team LaMaLaMa (now: Mr_Lama).
Since the team unfortunately split up, I am re-logging with my new account Lærry.
I hope you will understand.
Furthermore I thank you for hiding the many great caches!
Of course I will leave a favo to each cache where the original account did it. If I forget a cache, you are welcome to write to me.
Best wishes, Lærry

Arrrrr. Pretty sure we saw where this once was but sadly this may have gone in Davy Jones locker.
Th Capt'n seems to walk off too frequently so going to let him sail into the sunset
Lots of cruising muggles but they weren't bothered by another tourist searching for the cache. Replaced as found.
Thanks MacPac's . Nice one !
How about a wee magnet to reaffix it quickly as Capt'n Jerry's legs be cast me hearties !

We were sitting right on top of this for lunch but weren't searching at the time. Ended up coming back later when we were on the hunt.
A nice easy cache to start the day. Was able to make the grab and sign before too many people happened by.
We were very lucky with this one cruising NZ, we didn't have time to cache on our way over and this one was offline, but on our return it was back and today we had time to look TFTC
Monday Night Mad Mission with TheWanglers.....and purdiepurdie joined in the fun. We decided to head Akaroa way to clear up a few caches......a fantastic evenings adventure that ended up getting us home in the wee small hours of Tuesday morning! Great fun. Logs signed in various shorthanded and underhanded manners depending on the mood of the evening.
Perfect time to try this; or so we thought, straight after maintenance & at night......restaurant/pub over the road had a group sitting outside but they seemed happily content & PP and I made the find and eventual sign (log a bit tricky to get out!). Nice one. Cheers ears.

Out on a Mad Monday Mission with purdiepurdie and Team_Gaters. We got wind via FB that there were plans afoot to publish some caches in 'them thar hills'. The plan was to go and play in and around the hills of Akaroa. We headed off in the early evening into the sunset with high hopes and dreams. We had a blast with park n grabs, and with climbs to lovely vantage points high in the hills. The weather was wonderful and the stars plentyful. We clocked up 200+ kms and had some laughs and a lot of good memories. Good fun.
Thanks for maintaining. A bit of stealth and cache was to hand.
Thanks for the cache MacPacFamily.

On a maintenance run to Akaroa today. The good capture seemed to have been beheaded. A new Capt'n now in charge of the cache.
Well we found part of the cache, no log, unfortunately to sign,,
sorry for the late log, we were traveling without much internet. We see the owner did some maint,, hopefully the cache will last for a long time as it is a nice place to rest. TFTH

Finally able to log my GCing efforts now that we have returned to the world of fast internet. The targets were downloaded to the Garmin in the last week of December, so the string of DNFs was not known to me while searching. Sigh. At least I got one while in Akaroa, so it was not all a bust!
My Akaroa caches aren't looking too healthy at the moment... sigh. Will try to get over in the next few weeks to fix.
On our last days in the beautiful country New Zealand we visited Christchurch and surrounding area. Thank you for the cache. Best regards from Germany. Family Holleradhiho
We be afraid this appears to 'ave been well 'n' truly muggled. Found just the lid and wire on the floor at GZ, looking rather sorry for itself. Needs maintenance we fear! have left in back left corner under a leaf for CO.
What a cool cache! Best one I've found in my short geo:caching history. Found the logbook entries comment about sitting at the bench useful especially with the rain around... glad I didn't fall in the water while looking in all the wrong places. Tftc
With 2 cruise ships in port and lots of Holliday makers around had no luck today finding this one
Thanks anyway

On a road trip to Akaroa for a bit of well deserved R & R.
An easy find in a beautiful location.

This cache is logged after we came back home (Paris, France) after a FANTASTIC journey in Australia, New Zealand (and China for 2 days).
Those two countries are very different but absolutely FANTASTIC.
We visited a lot of cities and places and the game helped us to discover a little bit more than "normal tourists".
Thank you to all cache owners.
After having tried to swim with the dolphins, we tried to find this cache.
No problem to get it but we had to wait to be sure not to be seen by muggles.

Found by Facitman and Mrs Facit during our Campervan trip around the South Island at 17:09
We were enjoying our first afternoon in Akoroa and while Mrs Facit was happy to sit for a while I needed a bit of a stroll so I wandered along the street and made an attempt on this cache. It was actually easier than I expected and soon I was making my mark in Capt'n Jeremiah's journal.
Thanks MacPacParents

Had to give up on my first attempt as the backpacker muggle seated at the table 3m away kept looking back at me. So I went away and found the cache in Stanley Park. When I returned the backpacker had gone and I was able to make a quick find. Thanks for the cache.
TFTC. On the way back to the Golden Princess, we stopped by to find this. Very interesting cache. A couple of smokers were oblivious to what was happening as we signed and replaced cache.
After our trip to the dolphins was canceled we had a lot of time for a walk. This one was a quick and easy one. TFTC!
Our tour to Christchurch was over and we had a few moments before we had to return our ship. Why not grab a few caches first? This was the closest, and after a few minutes, we found the tricky hide. Nice setup! We logged in and then headed over to "Who's Cooking" but didn't have any luck there.

I have been waiting for the right day to come back over to Akaroa. I took my eldest son along as he has finished his exams and is into photography. I have searched for this one before. This time I found it. Phew. Thanks for replacing it.
A fast find after my swim with dolphins cruise.

Found while visiting from a cruise ship out of Sydney. In the company of muggle brother and sister-in-law. A glorious bright sunny day in this delightful seaside town.

A nicely hidden cache, found under the eyes of many muggles on this lovely sunny afternoon. Sat and signed the log and enjoyed the view of the harbour.
Thanks for the cache MacPacFamily.

Nice find during the loooong MEGA weekend.
Pretty cold & overcast this morning - The weather was just about to change and the sun to come out.

After being out on the harbour cruise to see the dolphins we had fish & chowder on the pier and a wander up the street. A quick check revealed a cache close by and it just had to be sought! Met another cacher as I walked over who'd just replaced same! TFTC

Enjoying the waterfront with tikitour, minimaxy and riser5 who located the cache for us.
Quick stop after a lovely four fish lunch. Blue cod, orange rough, white bait and elephant fish. Nice cache.
Enjoying Akaroa for the day and picking up a few caches while here. After enjoying blue cod and whitebait for lunch at the fish and chip shop (always a must when we come over) we wandered along the wharf and waterfront. Waited for some mugs to go by and made the find...am sure capt Jeremiah would have liked the camo......TFTC
This none went much better than no 7. I was muggled by an Aussie cacher as I was returning the container. TFTC
We headed over to New Zealand for a trip around the South Island, to visit the NZ Mega 2015 and Christchurch, and to explore more of this beautiful country. We were joined by catscatscats22 who had spent some time in the area before, and made for great company This trip was full of everything, we explored Christchurch, Hanmer Springs, Dunedin, and Akaroa all whilst managing to find a heap of caches along the way This one was next up for us today, so we pulled up alongside GZ, and after a quick search of the area, we soon had the cache in hand and added our names to the logbook [^] It was certainly a bit busy here today, and we were almost ready to give up, when catscatscats22 made the find

Of all the places I've travelled in New Zealand, North Canterbury is definitely a favourite, and I would always find myself returning to what has become my home away from home, Rangiora. So imagine my delight when the 2015 NZ Mega was announced for Kaiapoi! Registration was bought, flights were booked, travel buddies were found, and catscatscats22 and Gaz'n'Kab were set.
With just over a week here, there was so much we wanted to do in such a short amount of time. Thankfully, my Australian comrades were very much used to driving long distances, so the idea of driving 4 1/2 hours each way to Dunedin and back the same day wasn't out of the question. And when that trip includes geocaching, my first ever wherigo, castles, pukekos, burgers, getting shouted at by crazy ladies, eating takeaway in a New World carpark and really, really steephills, I think we can all say it was worth it.
The Mega itself was great, giving me a chance to catch up with familiar faces from both Australia and New Zealand, as well as picking up some great caches in the area. We were joined by two of the younger GHIJKGardner lot for an attempt at the Geobingo, which took us to some fantastic places, and me to some very familiar ones!
Another day trip, this time to Akaroa, had us meeting with a friendly cat in a fish and chips shop, lots of sheep, pukekos, very sudden changes in weather, and fantastic views. Throw in another trip to Hanmer Springs, catching up with family, a very wet walk through a forest, pukekos, a 12 hour delayed flight, $8 coffee voucher compensation, and more pukekos, and you've got a fantastic trip with fantastic people. Until next time, New Zealand!
Thanks for helping make this trip, MacPacFamily

We really wanted to find a cache in Akaroa and this ended up being the one as the other one nearby was missing. Yummy fish and chips at the nearby shop. Thanks for this cache.
Found with whiskasnz on our way to the Mega via Akaroa. Had to be stealthy with this one, luckily with two of us it wasn't so hard. Loved the fish n chips from over the road, great day to sit be sitting in the sun enjoying life. TFTC
During our trip around New Zealand, we hoped to find a bunch of caches along our route.
We arrived in Akaroa today and walked along the waterfront. While checking my pictures I noticed something on them and went right to the spot. It was bit tricky, to retrieve the cache in stealth, but finally I got it.
Many thanks to MacPacParents for this cache!

Raemoz found on day of cruise ship in so had to delay returning it because of muggles. Noted no one else was trying to find it.
A bit of a shoe lace tying was in order. Quickly found and replace after Croque Monsieur for lunch at a local cafe.
Time for Saturday drive, over to Akaroa for lunch.
Thanks to all the CO's for their hides.

Great container. Greetings from California! Visiting as part of a tour group in New Zealand and Australia for a month. Thanks.
Found this cache on a road trip to Akaroa. Found this one hard as so many muggles - came to it 3 times and decided to try it the day after (4th) and i said i wasnt going home without it So i got the other 3 to shield me and i got it signed and put it back
Despite the muggles this is a good one to find discretely. Sorry no pen. Chilli Dogs.
Due to the very nice weather we decided to visit akaroa! This cache couldn't hide it selves a long time... The challenge was to get on to the logbook. TFTC and greets from switzerland!
