Excellent camo job on this cache hide - a favourite point from us even if only for that. TFTC

Last cache for the day on our way home from Riverhead. We overshot this Road to Nowhere, and had to double back to locate it. We were able to park very close to gz, and found the well camo'd cache in the first place we looked. TFTC
From Google earth it almost appeared the road 'went through', but it didn't. Slippery at the start of the road but a steady drive to GZ. All good in the nicely camo'd cache. T F T C Voshed
A lunch-time cache and dash had me praying for respite from the threatening rain. Yeah? Nah!

One of the coolest caches I have seen in ages! Definitely worth the visit. Thank you for the effort! Tftc
This cache was really well made. Trying to find out how to favorite one, just for the actually cache box.
Really awesome and thanks for making us travel on another road to Nowhere.

Searched by the wrong post initially and found the water pipe but eventually got to the right spot. TFTC!

Moved cache slightly to new coordinates. A large bird, which looks like a grouse or partridge is nesting right where you need to access cache location. Shes sitting on about half a dozen eggs and I dont want to disturb her anymore.

Out and about for a spot of cache detection out west today. It ended up being pretty fine weather for it; the forecast showers didn't eventuate during my expedition today. I was heading for home when this hide popped up on the GPSr screen. Not that far of a detour, so, I decided to make one last find before heading for home. I parked up near GZ and got to searching. This was a nice quick find. Cheers for the cache placement!
Bored at home today, so Merlot58 and I headed out for a spot of geocaching away from the chaotic Xmas traffic. Initially had to leave this one until the return visit as there was a cop car parked at the beginning of the road and the Police eagle chopper hovering about. Returned here and parked right by GZ. Took a lit of searching but eventually merlot located this one.
Out with Aiden29 to escape the pre christmas mayhem for a few park and grabs. This was going to be our first one of the day but we decided not to drive down to nowhere as there was a police car at the top of the road and the eagle helicopter circling. On our way home the coast was clear and after a bit of a search at a rather prickly gz we made the find
I followed the geotrail, then poked around until I found the cache, all the time the gorse was poking me back. Ouch!
When I turned around I saw I had quite an audience making sure I returned the cache to the right spot. TFT(ouches).

I hope this is a private road, as it is a disgrace if a public one! Parked at the side of the road (as much as I could) at GZ and began my search. Only one car went past while I was there. Almost gave up when I decided to venture past some gorse and lo and behold I found it. Great camo. TFTC
#3972. I am up in Auckland for yet another work trip. After a morning of work, I had the chance for a few hours off in the afternoon to get some caching done. The rain fell on and off all afternoon but by picking park and grabs I was able to find about 15 caches. This one took some effort to reach. Missed the turnoff initially then had to negotiate a road that was falling apart. Parked nearby and after a short search I spied the cache. Nice camo. The logbook was soaked so put in a new log sheet. Signed and replaced the cache where found. Thanks for hiding it here.
Quick easy find with brandon97, mind the plants though. CO log needs some maintenance as its a bit damp and broken
I noticed that a very slack September had me almost beating my longest 'no find' streak - we couldn't have that so I had a look for a park and grab and picked this one.
It's more of a 'driveway to nowhere' than a road (well not for those who live here).
At GZ I beelined to the most likely hide and quickly spotted the cache. Nice camo job.

Out for weekend caching.
GPS was jumping initially and once settled, found the GZ. Nice camo. Lot of gorse and cutty grass was guarding the cache. Had a decent fight with them and finally signed the log. TFTC

TFTC A bit of a thorny area! Lying in the open, but hid it away after logging our visit.
GPS put me right on top of it. Unfortunately locals drove past as I was putting the cache back. Most likely wondering what I was up to.......... TFTC
Drove straight past this "road to nowhere" and had to turn around. Then found this one quicker than I thought it would. TFTC
Found it the second day of our stay in NZ. Next to the dance of my skisters property. Thank to the co
Had some difficulty identifying the road as there were no namne blades. . Asked a local and was told that it was just a private driveway.Nice quick find once I got there. TFTC.
And another road that felt like a private ROW, cache soon located and onto the next one. TFTC
A very nice little hide on this little road to nowhere. Glad to have a short car as it was tight to turn around, but no worries. Well camoed, but spotted straight away. Nice one. TFTC!!!
Another day of caching to get over my withdrawal symptoms of only 30-something finds so far this month.
There plenty of speed bars down this road. Is the road maintained by Council or by the property owners?
Cheers for the cache.

Had an opportunity to grab the cache of the day while it was still daylight, so headed down Another Road to Nowhere. Parked and spotted the nicely camoed cache after a brief search, Very nicely done - earns another favourite point. Thanks.
After a quick turn-around to park on the correct side, I found this neat cache quite easily. I just love the camo over the plastic bottle, Roger, you have to tell me some time how you managed that, i would like to do that to a few of my caches.
My last few caches for the day, this road just wide enough to park the car near gz and maybe allow cars to pass! Speed bumps hard to see in the failing light
Great disguise, could very easily have missed it! A favorite

Vistra and I were out again today picking up some of the West Auckland caches that have popped up all over the place.
NOTE about 5 meters from the cache under the gum tree is a ducks nest, we surprised the duck that was sitting on eggs, so we hope she makes it back to her nest quickly.
Only found cache after reading other logs and changing our search pattern. TFTC

Joined up with Yorkshirekiwi83 this afternoon to knock off a few of our unfound West Auckland caches. It took us a bit of searching to find this one, but we eventually found this nicely crafted cache! TFTC - fav point added!
Note to future searchers - we disturbed a duck sitting on a nest of eggs under the gum tree about 5 metres North of GZ - it would be nice to leave her in peace and avoid this area if possible! Hope its not giving too much away to say that we found the cache near the tea tree, so you don't need to look around the gum tree for this well hidden cache!

No. 2 Its not often i see an opportunity like this so thought it better be filled... this morning i arose and took a stroll, following the arrow to three caches, although only finding two... (2 smileys and 1 unhappy)... then this afternoon i saw my chance and went for a stroll in the car..( more auckland to do it by car!) and followed the arrow to three caches, all though this time i got three smiley faces, even if i was quietly begging for this one two be a DNF to make it all work... although the third i wished i did when i saw the type...
Whats all the fuss about you ask... well this afternoons caches where almost exactly 12 hours later, and 760.40km north of the first ones, not to often i get to cache in both Islands of NZ in the same day:-) (hail to Gc2F53w, GLFY7CVE, GLFY7CV3)
Cache was laying in the open on the slope, but the camo was still so good i had to think about it.. awesome:)

Biggest problem was getting the cat to move from his bed in the middle of the road. He was back there again for the return journey.

Had a navigator today to hold the gps nice quick find, great cammo. Not very welcoming signs at road end. Tftc
Great camo Roger just imagine what you could achieve if you put that much effort in at work. I always said you were a great boss
Why is it that Slieschke hasn't logged this cache before me? This excellent camo gets a favourite from me. Curious that such a minor road to nowhere needs a couple of speed humps. There was a very passive chook nesting under a pampas grass just 4 metres from the cache. Thanks for deviating me from the main road.
Weather had improved so good for a drive in the country.
All clear here today and very good camo container. TFTC.

On way home from work. Nice quick find once at GZ nice job on that one roger tftc 31 August 2014
Was settling in for the night, when the message came in. Before you could say "jim jams" the rebelcruiser sprung into life on driveway, a first to find was at stake! For some reason a fireworks display greeted us as we travelled up Don Buck road, not the small ones, we got to see the large commercial fireworks, that boomed overhead. Someone already must have the FTF and this was them celebrating! We got to GZ to see one car parked. With the assist of fire-mansam the cache was soon signed. Its freezing out here, but it was great to meet another cacher and it was a 2TF.
Decided to try for a FTF, bundled the baby up against the cold night and dashed out, Soapy stayed in the car with baby while Ed dashed out in the rain for a preliminary hunt... and found it, not ftf though already two other logs.
Got the email of last nights cache on the road over, was way too far to go get it last night, but when this one came through i was out the door as quick as i could. Super camo, had me looking for a fair while.
Was really glad to open it to find a beautiful clean fresh log. {FTF}

Just was checking emails when this cache went life and said to rustynz lets go and collect on arrival saw tail lights down a dark country road and met Fire-mansam at GZ. Nice to meet you and then sighed log and chatted about other geocaches. Left GZ with no other usual subject seen. Must of been to cold and wet for them to come out tonight TFTC.
