Glad to say I can change the blue frown to a yellow similie.
I had decided I wasn't leaving until I found this one and this time it didn't take long at all.
Also happy to say it is what I thought it was but last time I was trying the wrong one.
Beautiful but cold morning here today. Thanks nufrat for the cache.

I did look for this several times before my premium membership expired, but it took NZBirder's assistance to finally locate it today. Thanks for the cache.

First road trip for a while and making my way North. Enjoying a variety of caches all adding to the enjoyment of this trip. A quick find here and first to sign the new logsheet. TFTC
We arrived in Hamilton from Auckland this afternoon, along with Metzgan, and decided to go for a stroll around the lake for a bit of 'sightseeing' and to also pick up some caches.
Had an idea of what we were looking for here, and after a few muggles passed, we soon spotted what we were looking for and made the quick retrieval. What a lovely lily garden. Thanks for the cache.

Tricky find as busy spot. Once spotted, had to wait for a small break before we could extract & sign the log. TFTC
It was hard searching in between the constant flow of muggles and we were cooking in the hot sun. Will have to return when it's raining, or perhaps in the evening.
Had an idea of what I was looking for but still took a long time just scanning the area between muggles then finally spied what I was looking for.

During a walk around Lake Rotoroa I stopped here and logged this cache. Nice view from here .
Thanks for the box Quiri

Oh yes -oh yes! What a cool cache. Brought my muggle son along who is excellent at finding caches... still took several minutes then eureka I have actually seen one of these before but never thought of it when we were looking for this one. Scores a favourite from me, TFTC
Had one attempt one other time to find this cache but had to give up because too many muggles were meaning we couldn't look - today we went back and thought we were going to leave empty handed, but then the husband saw something slightly out of the ordinary - and there it was!! Definitely gets a favourite from me TFTC!
Not today. This proved elusive despite walking up and down and back again between muggles. Will think again and return. Thanks anyway nufrat
Tftc! This one took us longer than it should have, and then I had an 'aha!' moment where I realised what I needed to look for, and bingo!
Didn't have much time to hunt for this one but nothing jumped out at me. Quite possibly looking in the wrong place though!
Disappointed not to find, my newbie friend very sad, thanks anyway

We were out on a mission today and couldn't pass this one by without paying a visit TFTC.
Looked for this today. Found a munzee but not the cache. I imagine that it is there, just a bit tricky with the small size and constant pedestrian traffic.
enjoying a lovely lake walk with the CO. Nice one to check up on and sign off. plenty of muggles running past lapping us.
I'm pretty sure I found this but couldn't extract it from it's spot. It's seems to have gotten wedged between some wood and all the pulling I could do couldn't get it unstuck.
Lots of people out walking around the lake. stopped to look at the ducks and saw some thing out of place . so then had the cache in hand.
#6605. Parked on Lake Crescent for a nice walk round Hamilton Lake. Plenty of walkers on the track. Gave us time to admire the lily garden. Quick find after the coast was clear, and waited again for a suitable gap to replace. The cache was in excellent condition. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log. Thanks for the cache.
A lovely stroll to the Lily Garden, took a couple of pics of a waterlily while locating the cache, a great spot, TFTC.
838 Called Sunday but tooooo many muggles passing by. So back tonight after Indoor Bowls. No muggles around at 10.30pm. Nice easy retrieve, sign and return. Lights over the lake are beautiful tonight.
Didn't take long to find what we needed to locate cache. Glad I had tissues in my pocket to wipe my hands on afterwards!
Thanks for cache.
Thanks for cache.
Tricky, tricky, tricky. Spent some time on the wrong side before getting on track. Tftc.
There were a lot fewer muggles about today than when we did a nearby cache yesterday.
Had no Geo-mobile today so had to take another mode of transport to get this cache. Got the bike out again and got some much needed exercise. It was a nice ride to the lake, thou it was a bit hot. Had a bit of a search around once at GZ and after a few minutes I worked out where the cache was hidden. Use the need to repair the bike trick to hide what I was doing from the odd passing muggle. Had a little bit of a issue getting the cache back in place, but all sorted after a few attempts.
Thanks for the hide.
Thanks for the hide.
After resting for a while, watching the passing evening walkers, we started to wonder about the accuracy of the waypoint.. then something was spotted, right on location.
An interesting challenge.

I'm baffled. Found three others today but this one eluded me. Still, it was a gorgeous spot to visit. Perhaps another time when I am back in Hamilton I can try again.
Out and about for a days caching in Hamilton with Trout-fly enabled us to find 50+ finds. Surprised ourselves with a nice quick find here. I was thinking I bet that's how it's hidden and before I could vocalise my thought Trout-fly had found it. Beautiful place to visit so thanks for placing a cache here.
Spent the day with Team Welsh and cruised around looking for caches to find. We didnt have a plan, and we were trying to avoid u-turns, but we still found a heap of caches. Surprisingly easy find after I was thinking that it could be anywhere. Thanks.
We tried to find this one the day before the same as Jess 88.so today we came back again had another search. We decided to PAF bingo we found it.TFTC
After finishing a work meeting not too far away I had time to find a few caches before heading off to Auckland for the night. Nice one! I had a bit of an idea as to what I might be looking for here but it took a bit of time before I spotted an item of interest. managed to retrieve cache, sign log, and return same in between many muggles. TFTC, Biggles.
I was able to convince geomum that we should walk around the lake ... and there was one cache left along the track that I hadn't yet found (apart from the Wherigo that froze on me last time I was here three years ago). Spotted the cache quickly, but had to wait a little for muggles to disappear. We then watched a duckling disobeying duck mum as it ran across the lily leaves rather than swim with mum. Photo attached. TFTC - and greetings, nufrat! Only realised on logging this cache that this is one of yours. I hope all is well with you. We miss you in Melbourne.
Had to hang around town while junior was at an event this evening &, reckoning it'd be fairly muggle-free & a good time to search around here, persuaded geo-teen to keep me company on a walk. Soon spotted what was needed for this tricky hide; with teen on muggle alert, went in for the grab ... only for teen to sound the alarm. Even worse, the passing dog-walking muggle turned out to be someone we vaguely know, who stopped for a chat & wasn't in a hurry to move on. Did wonder about 'fessing what we were up to but it was more fun to distract the muggle with lots of canine chatter while teen covertly signed & replaced the cache - yeah, another smilie for us! TFTC
What a difference a day makes... Day three of my road trip to the Waikato, and I've started the day with a DNF. Knowing the sneakiness of the CO, I suspect I know what I'm looking for, but far too many muggles trying to get in a walk before the weather arrives. Another day.
Got to GZ on sunny Sunday. Muggles of all types everywhere. Spotted potential cache and just then muggles dispersed. Went for it! Earns a FAV from me. Cool cache.
Came to Hamilton to learn the alphabet and visit nearby caches. In the right spot with GC partner but had to resort to previous logs...then spotted it. Best cache for the day and a nice challenge. TFTC.
What a lovely spot. After a bit of thinking about it, J came up with the cache. Great. TFTC
Great hide, took lots of photos of birds building a nest while we waited to muggles to pass.
Arrived at GZ and had a ruff idea of what to look for. Spent a while looking and just couldn't seem to spot any sign of the cache. Headed off to find another nearby cache and return for a fresh look. Also gave a fellow cacher a call for advice and he confirmed for me what I should be looking for.
Upon my second search I found the cache and managed to sign the slightly damp log.

Out with Gap (of Fap and Gap) and a couple of kids. We managed to escape rainy Rotorua... and the Waikato was marginally better...
I arrived with an entourage of eyes... And the cache was quickly found. Oddly enough, it was in the very spot I visited that first time. In my dim-sightedness, I didn't look hard enough. Although fifty-eleventeen people walked past, this was an easy sign off. Happy to have found this... TFTC.

arrived at GZ and muggle factor was a 10, we made an inspection of the likely spots and came up empty. While thinking about how I would hide a cache I noticed something out of place.....yes the cache was in hand shortly after, tricky hide!
muggle factor was a 9 here today, would have been a 10 but I did manage to get to the cache which is safe and happy where it should be
while squirrel nutcase goes for an eye check, everyone else can still go and find this cache
thank you

LOL... Then it is just me...
Happy hunting. I'll be back (once I get my eyes fixed),

The rain lifted and we decided to get out of the house and go for a ride... Ended up in Hamilton. How convenient...
I admit to having some insider information on this one. I knew what to look for here... So I was a bit dismayed when I arrived at ground zone and found nothing. Either I desperately need a cataract operation ( because I'm blind), or the cache has gone missing in a short span of time from the last visit. Will watch list this and hope that it's just me...

Nice quick easy find while out wasting some time before catching up for lunch with ex work mates. Mr 2 was highly disappointed there were no ducks just Pukekos.
Down here at dusk to fill a dot day. Clever hide, but not what I was expecting after Nufrat's last few hides. Just one old coot around who objected to us being a bit close to her home perhaps?
Well today's the day for this cache and it couldn't have been more convenient as the alternatives had me driving to Cambridge or Horatiu
While in the middle of last minute cleaning and a quick pop out to ensure I get my cache of the day. Was surprised to find a park close by and muggle free area due to the weather, the cache was soon spotted it. Hopefully the next one I find today will be somewhere warmer
Thanks for the placement

Rushed out after work. Used the led light on my phone. I sort of new what to look for and my guess proved correct. Map shows you roughly where to look but the title of cache helps more. FTF at 2317
I must go round the lake most days so new the area intimately
