Day Three in Albany, WA. After a big breakfast, Bettyboo3747 and I just toured a few caches around town, and then grabbed a few puzzles in the afternoon.
A couple of Telecom guys were working nearby so we couldn't have a really good look, but we hovered around anyway, but no cache did we find.
We did have a walk around the grounds, and they are very nice buildings and garden.
Thanks, Robmc.

Day 3 of our WA holiday. Robmc and I decided to spend the day caching around town. We headed towards Dog Rock, the water and the Mount this morning and then went a little further afield after lunch. Managed to find 16 for the day, but unfortunately also managed 6 DNF's, which was not so wonderful.
Lovely gardens here in the heart of town and such a lovely Rectory too. Such a shame that we could not find the cache today. After looking at the photos I agree with the previously disappointed cachers that the cache is indeed missing. Time for a maintenance check please.

Had a reasonable look and then looked at the photo, suspect we know where it was but has been moved?
The Mrs found it when we had all but given up.
One of the best hides I've seen in nearly 800 finds.

Very clever hiding, thank you. Good start to a beautiful day in Albany, may the good luck (and awesome finding abilities of my wife) continue through the day. TFTC
Great weekend away in Albany visiting friends and picking up some nice caches along the way. Great camo! Found it empty with no log inside as per previous log so we have put a piece of paper in it as we didnt have a spare new log which will hopefully survive until a new log can be put in.

Merci pour la cache, malheureusement celle-ci est vide, j'ai trouvé le support mais le contenu a disparu. Ni stylo ni logbook.
Tftc, but unfortunately, it's empty , the support is still there but no trace of neither pen or logbook.

Found it, but as per the previous people no log. Unfortunately we have a pen with us but no paper to put in it.
Very good place to hide the cache! We looked here this time on holidays and didn't see it

In Albany and surrounds for a couple of days - another work trip. An evening to spare gives me time for a few caches.
I found what must be the caches but there was no log book, and unfortunately I had nothing suitable.
I have a photo that proves my find, should the CO require it.
Could the next finder bring a logsheet
Cruznoz - SVKR_WA found your cache The Rectory on 22/1/17, 18:31. This is my find #1771 and find #1 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

13:00 waited in hopes of hearing the tubular bells be rung, but it was not to be. Grounds were empty on a second pass - right up until I was done signing the log.
Log dry, still some room.

Very clever Cache, but no log book. I taked a provisoric log book in the cache. TFTC
Found it - someone has popped a bit of card in as a log so we added our name to that.
Very sneaky hide - have introduced my father (78) to geocaching & he's a complete convert after this one

The wooden wedge that is magnetically attached underneath the plaque appears to be the place where the geocache should have been?! Yes? If so it's not there, it's been taken.
Was on our way to have lunch across the road when nan showed me this clever cache. Thanks Cruznoz
Out and about exploring Albany with CAD - soon had cache in hand ... clever hide T4TC:)
[^] A cool camo on this one, we look forward to finding more like this [^]. This was only a short walk from my accommodation so just had to duck out and grab it [^]

On a road trip with cousin BellaMin. The weather is holding out for us. Great hide!

We are in Albany for the weekend to attend a family wedding, now that the big day is over we have a day free to geocache. We decided to head into town to see what has changed since our last visit in November 2014. Strolling around we noticed a geocache or two which must be more recent additions, this one was one of those. Once we checked on the name of the hider we knew we would have to look for something special and that definately proved to be the case! We soon had this sneaky little cache found and then headed over to admire the Anglican church. We soon found ourselves chatting to a wonderful old gentleman who was a wealth of knowledge on everything to do with the church, we spent a good hour chatting and looking through. I discovered that this is the oldest church in Western Australia AND when inside found another treasure... the travelling pulpit which had been used in the trenches during WW1, it has a long history which I found extremely interesting. I wouldn't have known any of this had it not been for the geocache.

We left Adelaide in early July and traveled up to Darwin.
Then it was down the WA coast, picking up an occasional cache as we went.
Arriving in the Albany district we found a great little free camp at Cosy Corner ( if you are traveling check this one out) and did day trips into town.
Saturday morning found Di checking out the Op Shop while I made a very clever find and sign nearby.
Another favourite point from me.

On our way to the cache we found a perfect hiding place for it, but it made a lot of noise when I lifted the lid. After attracting the attention of everyone with this we found the somewhat better hiding place for the cache. There's a lovely large garden around the church. Thanks and greetings from the Netherlands.

As previously stated, a very cool hiding place. My wife looked right at it, thinking the cache was wedged there, but I spotted a clue, which made me realise it was removable; very clever. TFTC
As we approached ground zero we saw the likely structure from the description. A very quick search and we had the cache. Great camo!
Had come loose and was laying on ground. All repaired and hubby says looks great!
Found with bike kids ... just a little hard getting the log out - need tweezers or similar TFTF
First to sign the new log (on the inside). Bring tweezers to help remove it. I felt like a real Mcgyver using a bobby pin from my hair to get it! TFTC with pegb
Good find pretty ingenious how the hid it shame we couldn't get the message out of the little container
Out and about for the day heading towards the WA goes big event and this cache was on the way.

So fun! Darling Mae's very first cache, and she's eager to find all of Albany's best!
Unfortunately the log book is full and so a new one is needed please, Thank you, Julie&GGs.
We enjoyed seeing the Rectory and St Johns Church. With no muggles nearby the cache was soon found in its very excellent hiding place. The cache hide was well planned and implemented. Unfortunately the log book is full so a new one is needed please. We did appreciate the informative notes - much appreciated.

Found with itsahoughthing. Had a little trouble with the GPSr locking on to any particular position. After a little searching we found the well hidden cache though. Thankfully it wasn't too busy nearby while we searched. Thanks for the cache.
