We spent a fair amount of time here even though the mozzies were driving us nuts. The only thing we could see which might be cache-like was a black cable tie around a tree limb.
Looked for as long as I could until the mozzies drove me away. I will come back with aerogard.
Found the blessed ringer that evaded me before.
TFTC certainly different. Pity the breeze wasn't strong enough today
On our way out for the morning with the geomonsters, we stopped off to pick up this cache.
A nice quick find.
Thanks!!

Never seen a cache like this but it perfectly matched the name.
Great find and thanks for bringing us here.

Thank you. David and Geoff.

Getting close to the end of my day today, and I was up this way in search of some quality caches.
Parking the car, I headed along the path between the houses and over here, where I quickly disappeared from sight of a couple of ladies pushing prams, and into the bushes. Unfortunately I didn't disappear from smell from the mosquitoes, which certainly wanted me here today. Apparently not liking Bushmans doesn't ring a bell for them. A quick find - love the appropriate modification - and a very hasty exit.
Thanks for the cache stortigirls.

Thanks for this one have been here before and found it with Next84. When the holder was different. Got a smiley now. Tftc giving it a heart as well because it is a milestone cache of 1450
#4443. I flew over to Brisbane from New Zealand on Friday and spent two nights in Caloundra. Todays mission was to find a few caches in the Caloundra area before driving south to Brisbane. After lunch I decided to have a look for a few caches in the Redcliffs area. Parked nearby and went for a wander. Lots of interesting birdlife at the GZ. A family of wrens were flying around. Spectacular colours on the male. After a short search I spied an unusual cache container. Well done for creating something that is quite different. Signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache stortigirls.
Note Wellington NZ is hosting the "Wellington Geocaching Event 2018" on 21-22 October 2018. Hope to see some Australian cachers over there and give it a chance to become a Mega.

Found today whilst hanging out in the bay .
Lovely area to cache. Bird life wonderful. Very cute cache container and one I'd not come across before. Clever. TFTC TNLNSL.

After a trip out on the water to St Helena Island for a FTF and a spot of bargain hunting at the shops at Rothwell, it was time to hunt down some more caches before heading for home. Only had the phone on me today but the coordinates with it were spot on and it led me right to the well themed cache container. TFTC
I remember talking to the CO about this one last week and saying that I hadnt done this one she said it was a must, and I totally agree it is a must. When I found the cache I thought ohh what a cute cache. A fav point awarded from me TFTC
Out on a maintenance run today, I have removed the original container and replaced with one I actually like way more All good to find again.
Found after a three-hour search.
The cache was not in place, but beneath the layer of grass and is broken, so it can not be reliably placed in place. I found the logbook about 6 meters away from her. Thanks for the cache, I've fixed it temporarily but needs to be repaired.
Greetings from Czech Republic.

I love the container and also the location. Didn't come prepared so left with a few mozzie bites. Shame about all the bottles here. Looks like someone had a party. I didnt have a bag but if you feel like a bit of community clean up ... this is the place. Ps. There was no log inside so couldnt sign but I have a photo
Last Sunday we had had a busy day but we were super keen to try our new ALDI retro bikes that we gave each other for Christmas. This cache is very close to our house and we had been saving it for a special occasion and our first family ride was it. After a couple of laps of the street to make sure we hadn't forgotten how to ride we set off on the bike path on the edge of the water at Deception Bay.
The Aldi bikes ride smoother than a baby's bum, and we also look like the sheet. A few strange looks came our way but deep down I knew they were just jealous. On the return trip we called in to find this cache. The geodaughter found the cache container on the ground but without a pen we replaced it according to the hint and agreed we would be back on the bikes for the official duties.
Fast forward to today and the geowife and I packed our roadies and took our blind dog for a walk. It's a slow process so we need to take a beer to make it tolerable. After we got home it was just starting to cool off so I suggested a quick ride to sign the log. The geowife was a little bit tipsy but keen to see if she could drink'n'ride without going to jail. We survived and signed the log. tftc

We found ourselves in the area today and decided to stop by for a quick cache find while we had the opportunity. The GPS took us right to ground zero and we immediately spotted the cache container ... we had a little chuckle to ourselves when we saw it. We quickly added our name to the log book and continued on our way.
Thank you stortigirls for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy - a favourite point from us for a clever cache container.

Will try this one again with another person. Froze when spotted a healthy and glossy brown or black snake. Given it took one look at me and vanished, I figured I would need to come again
Out and about on the geocycle today. (Newly equipped with the ability to do just as this cache name suggests.)
This one took a while. The GPSr is not too flash under the tree cover and the hint, whilst helpful is still pretty vague.
I did some ever increasing circles until I spotted it. I was expecting this, but still a favourite point for the hide.

Dnf - also a very secluded and potentially dangerous location in scrubland. Do not search here alone.
1782 - I came to Rothwell to grab a few caches and to go for a walk along the path here. I left the path and ventured in to the scrub and after a brief search I found this cache at 6:01pm. As I was scribing "BG 10/1" into the log, a pair of finches flew around the trees singing a lovely song. One of them caught a butterfly and sat on a branch not far above me, having his dinner as I left the area, Thanks for the well hidden cache, stortifreddo.
Took a little while heaps of mosquitoes was hard to write on the log so did best i could used 2 different pens
Out caching today with the CO. She needed to do some maintenance here, so we stopped by. We parked nearby and wandered to GZ where I quickly located the cache. I had a good laugh when I saw the container
Out caching with Landylovers around the Redcliffe area. We found this cache really quickly. I had read that it needs a new log and had come prepared with a set of different sized log sheet but none of them were suitable to fit inside this little cache which was a real shame. With the apparatus inside, I needed one just like the one in there and it needed to be material other than paper. Oh well I tried.. I wanted to ring the bell but that didn't work Couldn't sign log but we were there! TFTC.
Find #1757 at 17:00 with MissGeosie and BopsyGirl, in the company of a squadron of mozzies.
The kids eventually spotted the cache, much to their amusement.
Thanks for the cache, stortifreddo.

Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga2 at 3:03pm. We parked and walked in and found the cache after searching for a few minutes. The cache is in good condition. TFTC
Creative containers seem to be a thing around this area - which is fine with me! Found the cache and not only did it contain a log but a micro USB cable... Odd? O-well - signed the log and returned the cap. TFTC
Genyo and I made our way to GZ and began our hunt. Before long I had spotted something a little odd and was pleased to find it was the cache. TFTC!
Cool container idea!!

Quick and easy and I love this cache! This area definitely needs a CITO. TFTC!!!
Down this way today with Snow Bear to explore the area and pick up a few caches around here.
This cache was our third so far for today. After going into the bush a bit further then needed we did spot something out of place on our way back towards GZ, Bingo. What neat idea for a cache.

Dabom81 and myself were on a mission to round up dinner, but I still needed a cache for the day. A small detour and we were parking up the Monster Truck not far from this one. I had brought my handy, dandy, light emitting, flashy, thingamebob to guide the way, off we went down the path. Not before some stares from the owners of the house we had parked out the front of
We arrived close to GZ and I sent off dabom to scare off any slithery beasties and clear the spiderwebs. Rightio, where is the cache? There it is I wasn't sure how to get in, but eventually I had the log in hand. Unfortunately my pen was not the best for this kind of paper and my log entry is a wee bit scribbly.
Thanks for the cache stortifreddo Ding, ding!

We parked further away than we needed to, but a nice walk to Gz. We found the great little cache, a favourite point awarded

Gotcha !!! A few days caching after the Mega while Mrs Temingi is in Melbourne. TFTC
Nice quick find good cache lots of mossies though and abit of spider dodging
Very nice! I was not too keen on bashing bush in mozzie infested terrain, but it was worth while. I signed my name as WW. Thanks stortifreddo. FP'ed.
I decided I could tough out the mozzie situation just one more time for a cache which sounded interesting. After a bit of a power walk along the trail, I was hoping for a lantana-free entry point, and soon found one that was close enough. I dodged webs galore whenever I wasn't swatting away mozzies and soon got to the GZ. After consulting the hint, I finally noticed the container subtly secluded.
Not sure how to undo it then couldn't see the log, but of course, it's all there if you look closely enough. TFTC which is fine shape!

Yeah! So very cool. Recovered, Rang and returned! Saw evidence of wild animals but no luck spotting any today. TFTC.
On a mission in Redcliffe today with mugglebf who kindly offered to take me caching for the day.
This was our first for the day, we made our way to gz and started the search. Cache was found pretty quickly however I had to do a double take to find a log to sign.
Thanks for the cache sortitfreddo. Love the camo.

All our visitors are finally gone so we finally get to have our first day of caching for 2015! This one took a little while to find as the GPS was bouncing around quite a bit. Once we worked out the right area to search we eventually found the clever hide. TNLNSL TFTC

Will temporarily disable until we can check cache and replace log this weekend.
Went out to check this afternoon and the log is still in place inside the cache. Good to go.
Did not know what this might be... Quite clever in the end. Looked inside and could not see a log. Looked on the ground too, nothing. Maybe one of the multitude of mozzies carried it away...
Well I must say this one did ring my bell!
A quick find amongst the undergrowth & the fiercely milling mozzies.
Signed log & replaced then ran like crazy! LOL ...
TFTC stortifreddo
P.S. A favourite point for the concept & hide!

Out and about on a very hot day grabbing a few caches on my way to Redcliffe. I managed to find a variety of caches in some very interesting location, this was one of them. This one had me wandering a bit before the bell finally rang. Nice hide.[^]
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

Nice one! Thanks stortifreddo.

Out and about with team Slow Puncture, cleaning up our maps.
An afternoon adventure that was to turn into a crazy caching evening!!
As Slow Puncture had an FTF on this one, I reckoned they wouldn't be able to find it again as quick!
So I stood back and followed in their footsteps as the shouted **Ta Da!**
Then they realised I had set them up, and they had led me straight to the cache!
