I had a bit of a look around but was with a non-caching friend and two active doggos who just wanted to run about and be crazy so I didn't spend too much time searching. Maybe next time.

*Catching up on some missed logs* Out for a morning walk with GeoHubby (GNARwhal) through the beautiful Bottlelake Forest. Stopped for a few caches along the way, this being one. GeoHubby made the find here. Thanks for the cache.

Surprisingly easy find. As others have reported, only a wet log in a crumpled bag remains.

My son found this one pretty quick - not sure I would have been able to! Very cool hiding spot. As others have mentioned the log needs replacing - theres no container, just a bag.

Good spot! Didn't really know where to start as GPS was bouncing like other caches, but looked for something out of the ordinary and pop! There it was. Fun find. Ollie Vader, Kobe Kenobi, KaLeia

After exploring the nearby fairy village we headed over to look for this cache. Our GPS was bouncing around a bit so we spent some time walking around in circles looking high and low. We then stopped and took in some energy from the forest to regenerate our geo senses. This worked wonders as we immediately spotted something that wasn’t necessarily suspicious but did warrant further investigation. Aha! We found what we can tell was once an awesome hide but is now sadly a bit worse for wear. The log was far too wet to sign so we took a photo if the CO would like proof of our visit. Despite its condition we’ve given this a favourite point as we can see the effort that went into the original placement. Thanks for bringing us to this beautiful forest. Looking forward to exploring more on another trip.

Nice day for a bike ride TFTC Cache needs some love

Whilst the boys went for a bike ride, I decided to walk. I started with this cache. Of which, little remains. There was no container, just a zip bag. The logbook was a bit damp. Thank you for placing this here.

Out for a lap with the kids, collecting caches as we went.

The cache no longer has a container and the camoflaged lid is split in two.

Despite being down for a couple years, this was the first time I'd been for a decent walk through this area, and there were a few caches to grab too...

Took a moment to spot, I was on the right idea, but not quite the right location.

TFTC Quakecity, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 1 find(s) of 9 today, making this find #3574

I wandered about for a while and then thought I wonder and I wondered correctly

Found after a short search but all very wet! Put a new log in & tried to secure cache firmly to keep the moisture out! A clever hide TFTC

I was out to the north of the city and decided to have a look around the area. Walked around the edge of the forest as it was getting a bit cold here. I had a look around GZ and couldn't see anything useful, but I found what I was looking for in the end. Nice little hide here. Find #760

Great cache. Very well done!!! Took a bit to find but very well camouflaged. Needs some maintenance tho the case was not sealed and there is moisture inside. Will try to come back soon to address this. Kids loved it

Uncovered after a little bit of a hunt. Enjoyed the craftsmanship! Aware that the inner container and log were missing, we have done our civic duty, coming prepared for maintenance. Both have been replaced. TFTC!

Found along with dani3104 but no sign of a logbook and the top seems to be falling apart

We did find the cash is very unique but there is no log and the only thing that’s in there is a shell. So it needs a new log

Hell yes, next level cache. I did some light maintenance, added some log paper... Could use a small container as it's just a plastic bag that I fear is not water tight.

Have not been here for many years, great to see all the improvements with cycle and walking tracks. Out with busy paws to find a cache that had beaten us last time. Saw this one and decided to go for a walk. No luck with the sister cache babe but we did find this very clever cache container, and by chance a little babe was asleep in it. Thanks for this clever cache quakecity.

A quick couple or three caches today. This was number 3 with coconuts3. Happily found quite quickly, a very good and clever hide, with a wee babe inside! TFTH and taking me back to an area unwalked for many a year.
