Checked out this cache today while in the area and looks as if the hiding place has been removed to make a gateway for the new motorway works.
Will have to archive this one

Quick find. Diggers busy very close nearby and with a big blue X right beside the cache I wonder if this hiding spot is going to disappear sometime in the not too distant future. tftc
The first stop of our road trip today and it was a nice simple park and grab. Just like a Pitstop really.... And it was in Pekapeka. How do these people come up with the names for these caches? SLTFTC
A simple, quick and easy find. Just what we needed to get us started for our 30+ Caching trip that started (way too) early this morning! TFTC, just as described
Going north, only small time for stopping and caching. This was one of them.
Straightforward find, cache in order, log signed; safely re-hidden, just as found.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

Left a little early for a day in Palmie and enjoyed collecting a few caches on the way up - made this harder to find than I needed to! TFTC, #6823
And so my week long visit to Blenheim (and the surrounding areas) is over. Today is return to the North Island day and catch a ferry. Had left a few caches in Picton when I arrived on Sunday and so had high hopes of finding the missing few and turning those green box logos into yellow smiley faces. Left with an overcast day but temperatures warming slowly and a couple of hours up my sleeve.
Now across back on my home island, for now, and with the ferry leaving an hour late I had to re adjust my hopes for finds as day light was fading and traffic quite heavy this evening. Had high hopes of finding all ten of these new caches but too dark to achieve so settled on just the one today
No problem with the find by torch light and dropped off a unicorn G C to continue it's travels
T F T C and off home I go, no more caches today and a yummy curry in the foot well of the car. Mmmmmmm

On my way to Te Horo today. Not the best weather for caching. Nice new trail to find between showers. Good placements.

On the way to Otaki today so this newly placed mini trail was not be ignored. Good hides and good sized containers, and much appreciated the obvious attention to good parking. Recommended to pull well over however, the traffic really zooms by!
Many thanks for the hide Just-Lookin

First find in this series while driving north. Interesting to watch the progress of the Kapiti Expressway nearby. The safe parking and quick grab were both appreciated, thanks Just-Lookin.
FTF Was able to pull over safely and park. Thanks for the cache, found quite easily . Enjoying this series, as I drive up here almost every day!
