Came down here to grab a couple more caches but failed here. Lots of possibilities but no find for me.
A quick find with kiwitrecker1 and the kids. Think everyone in the neighbourhood has a barking dog! Log is now full. TFTC!!
Forgot a pen! Great hiding spot, the wire is hard to see at first. I got a bit directionally challenged locating the spot but we got there in the end.
#67 easy find but great hide, quiet area during the week. It becomes obvious where the cache is pretty early on but a very clever spot! TFTC
I found this one nice and quickly while geowife abandoned me to shop at a streetside fruit and vegetable vendor. To be fair the avocado prices were off the hook. Anyway, didn't need her here as on approach I had a feeling where the cache was. And for once, it was there.
The CO has helpfully included a good way to extract the log which I ignored in favour of my fingers. Lucky I like slugs. Actually I don't like slugs, but let's face it, if that's the worst thing you can find in a NZ cache that's not bad. I did thrust my hand into a hole only to find a freshly dead rat once but that's another story (always, always, carry antiseptic), and nowhere near here.
Thanks for the cache here, I liked it.

Found quickly, excellent spot for a cache. The hook wasn't attached to the camo - is is supped to be? Put back how I found it. The log only about 6 more spots for names. TFTC
A quick find before work today. The coordinates were pretty good and I was able to spot the camouflage from a distance away. Had some trouble extracting the container, but once I managed to get it out, I saw that there was a handy extraction device that I didn't see before. Was planning to get the other one nearby as well, but the ground was too muddy, so I just left it at this one. Thanks for the cache!
Nice find in a nice park. Very will hidden and the wire was a fantastic idea. TFTC!
Doing a little caching out west today. Nice hide in a park we have never visited before. TFTC
Found with not a muggle around. .... thanks for making the retrieve easier Tftc. .
Out on a family bike ride and hunt. 4 kids went home but 5 year old and mum carried on. Great spot. Tftc
Back up in Auckland again for work but with a few hours to spare today I decided to go caching out West. I walked across to this cache from the other one in the reserve. Spotted the feature on approach and quickly found the cache. All good here. Last cache for me today. Time to go and do some work. TFTC, Biggles.
I actually walked right past this cache on my way to the other cache because it was "closer". I looked in a few places before I spotted a telltale hint. TFTC.
Spotted it as soon as I arrived at GZ. Took awhile for me to get this one out. Plesently signed the log in camouflage to the tune of transformer hums. Everything is in good condition. Thanks!!
Quick find. Spider Web not an issue thanks to a piece of wire kindly provided as part of the cache.

Corban has a big log. The cache hadn't been found for so long that the spiders had webbed it in like a cocoon.
Thanks for the cache!

Out and about in West Auckland, taking advantage of the sunny weather today, picking up some cache finds to add to the tally. I parked up on Henderson Valley Road and made the short walk over to GZ. Spotted the hidey spot on approach and closer inspection confirmed the presence of the hide. Nice quick find here. Nicely hidden. Now to continue my walk around this park. Cheers for the cache placement!
Nice day for a cache.
Lil' Miss 3's turn to fid this cache (little hands helped with the retrieval!).
Didn't even know this place existed!

#297 Geodad, Geoboy and Geogirl (Geomum is in Wellington for the weekend) decided to spend this afternoon collecting some of the geocaches near Oratia. Geogirl found this one but needed the small hands of Geoboy to retrieve. Quickly signed and put back.

Picking up a few caches in the area and this park was on my list. Close by GZ were a couple of fluoro wearing muggles having an intense conversation but luckily I was out of sight of them while I made a nice quick find.
Tricky spot. Thought it was too far in then spotted the handle to extract. Friendly neighbor lady telling us about the face that can be seen. Off to find the other in the reserve. TFTC
A fairly uninspiring park with the main feature being a sub-station [|)] but geodogs always love a new park to visit and with a couple of well placed geocaches to visit make it a whole lot more fun for me too! Log cosy and dry. tftc
Found with my Mum, NewlynFam. Have now created my own account so am logging all finds I was present at and helped with.
Found whilst out with a big group including mum keylev and brother cragger.
Thanks for the cache.

A large group of us descended upon the area today to bike the twin stream trail. Once we had finished we decided to stop for a few more before heading off home.

Had done a nearby puzzle series on bikes and were now heading home. However we still had a little while before any other commitments so just had to do a few more caches in the area.
Walked into this park and quickly found a likely hiding position. As there was a large group with numerous younger caches we had been running a competition Kids Vs Adults all day to see who had the highest number of finds at the end. Mr NZT made the find HOWEVER his HUGE hands proved difficult to extract the cache container.
Young Laval was just itching to give it a go saying that he would easily get this with his smaller hands......... Mr NZT didn't want to give up a find due to being unable to extract the container however Laval was insistent!!!! Laval inserted his hand IMMEDIATLY the container was retrieved! What was even more embarrassing was the wire that had been attached to the container to assist with extraction.... Mr NZT will never live this down and is sure that Laval will always remind him of his failure at every possible moment in the future as well. Well done Laval!!!!
As we were in a large group this was signed at June Bikers in honour of the earlier biking efforts.

Out with about 4 other families for a day of biking and caching. There must have been at least 15 of us. All logs done under “June Bikers”
Great day to get out and explore

Set out on bikes this morning with Keylev, cragger, laval, UncleSamNZ, NZTravellers, Hemaludy, Stick-a-crane and Eirot to find some of the Blues Clues trail series nearby, and since we had a bit of time after we finished, we looked for this and a few others nearby.
It was funny watching the retrieval efforts of this one, and especially the slightly red-faced Mr NZTravellers as the smallest member of our group retrieved the cache after he had to give up!

After a gathering of a few geocachers for dinner last night, a plan was hatched to collect the Blues Clues trail. Biking today with Darthcacher1, Purply, Stik-a-crane, eir-ot, NZtravellers, Unclesam, Keylev, cragger, laval, newlynfam. The logs were signed with "June Bikers" to save space as there were so many of us. Very lucky with the weather today, only a short shower at the beginning of the trail.
We couldn't resist finding a few more before heading home.
As has been mentioned the smaller hands were needed for this. As we were heading out again to get the other cache in this park, Keylev called to her children to stay out of the mud, and moments later found herself about to head into the quagmire.

Young EIR-0T and a large group following the Blues Clues trail in the area today decided on a few more to finish the day, and were lead to this cache.... over the very sodden grass we go and arrive at GZ... quickly spotted by the adults, but not easily retrieved, so enlisted the help of on of the many eager children with the necessary tools for retrieval.

Quickly spotted at GZ and appreciated the extra help with retrieval is it was firmly wedged in. Not too sure about the houses located so close to this substation though! We could hear the humming from quite a distance away let alone the health risks associated. TFTC!
Took one of my workmates after work today to introduce him to geocaching as he's not in nz for long. Thanks for being his first cache to find
A sneaky wee hide, well hidden. GZ well hidden too.
Up in Auckland for a birthday party, and spent my downtime caching. So many people, cars and humidity.
Thanks for the hide.

Saw the log and then the cache from around 10metres away! A beautiful day to gather some caches after the recent rain!
Parked nearby so we could grab both caches in this park. Loved the retrieval system for this one, always makes it nice and clean. TFTC
Vistra and I spent part of the day today gathering caches or elements of caches to help solve others later. Decided this time that the West had gathered a few up again and it was time to clear some of them.
Vistra had found this previously so was a quick find. TFTC

Awesomely designed cache. Thankful we didn't have to really scramble through bush as the mini cachers were very tired of bush set caches.
Almost had me stumped, but then spotted something that looked like a cache. Thanks.
Found it, realised we'd left the pen in the car, returned it, back to the car, pen attached to cache bag & back to GZ to retrieve again and sign this time. Thanks for the cache and the retrieval device!
Found myself out this way today and had my eye on doing these two caches for a while so figured today was as good as any given the nice weather and all.
Nice walk to GZ and after one rotation found the nicely hidden cache. Quick find here and off to do the next, TFTC

Quick find while getting some after work caches. Ground is reasonably dry so I was able to leave the park with clean shoes! Used my handy flashlight app to find as it was getting dark.

We were not intending to come find this cache tonight, but after a DNF on our target, decided that this might be the best backup. Made my way to GZ in the rain, wishing I had on my gumboots like last night. At least the grass near GZ had recently been mowed. Interesting big log at GZ, and such a convenient hole. Thanks.
Out in Henderson dropping off Operation Christmas Child Shoe Boxes, so took the opportunity to find a couple of caches, the youngest cacher came up with this one. Loved the hiding place. TFTC.
After returning from a morning of hiking in the Waitak's, I stopped at Corban's Reserve to find the 2 caches in there. A nice easy find here - thanks for the cache!
