Out on doggy walk to get this replacement, a revenge for a DNF last visit to the Sunny Coast.
Out on a sunday arvo geocaching with Woodwahdi trying to rack up a few more finds in our local area. This cache was all good. tftc
With so much rain there is so much growth. That always makes for a scary, tentative find but I got there.
Scuba9 has undertaken to replace this cache for the CO. We will have to wait until that happens now.
This is no longer here and I have sent a photo to the CO to indicate why I know this. If CO is responsive it will be replaced. Failing this it should be archived.
couldn't find it despite looking for ages then was reading log and seen someone said it needs attention.
Headed out in the geo-car for a few caches today.
Decided to hit a few around Buderim since there was an event nearby that I was attending.
SSS__Spinna76, looks like this cache is missing.

Enjoying my two day visit to the Sunshine Coast with geo friends. We decided to venture out into the quieter suburbs even though it's still very wet in most parks and places.
Found the broken tether first then with a little bush turkey work the container was spotted under natural litter and placed back where it belongs.

Peppa and I had planned to attend the Meet the Canadian event at Mooloolaba today so to make a day of it, we left home at 7am to have a full day. Met up with E-Smiley, Snickersallan and GrannySmith1957 to continue our caching day.
Back on track to finding our targeted caches (we were ever looking at the list?) we had to stop to grab this cache. Making our way to GZ, we searched around until a check of previous logs helped us with the find. SL then returned as we found it. Interesting bit of bush here.

Patrol14 and I have journeyed to the Sunnie Coast for the Canadians at the Coast event in Mooloolaba this afternoon… deciding to make a full day of it we left the Southern burbs of Brisbane this morning at 7am…
Thinking we’d work our way through Mountain Creek we were joined by E_Smiley, Snickersallan and Grannysmith1947…
Like whenever we attempted to walk on the grass today, it didn’t take long to get bogged down in the caches…
We weren’t going to stop here, but the latest crazy challenge cache on the Northside of Brisbane made it a must do…
Finding the former attachment point was pretty easy, locating the actual container though was a little harder… we then macgyvered it back onto the attachment point…
That pic from 2019 was the clincher here… why can’t every cache have one of those???

Not a smuggle to be seen. Left the pen behind so had to visit twice to sign off. TFTC.
At first, we were stumped as it's quite overgrown but we got down low and made the find!
A lot more overgrown these days, but not as difficult to navigate as it looks. Found it quickly once we got stuck into the thick of it! Lovely hide. TFTC

Sadly we could not find this one. Looks like a new fence has been put up possibly? The hint wasn’t much help but still a nice walk
It had got lost under the grass because of the recent storm. It’s low and near the bottom of a tree and it’s under the grass
Took a few checks here n there before spotting the blighter out of the corner of my eye! Without any tether, hopefully it doesn't decide to just roll away one day!

At some caches there are just so many things that catch your eye that you spend more time checking them out than actually looking where you are being told. Both Mrs Woodyrothwell and I stood within a metre of the cache before we both decided this was where we would begin our search and peeled off in different directions.
It seems we also have different things we like to inspect but after a quick loop we reassembled (within a metre of the cache) to read the hint. We peeled off again to check different trees and even our arboreal fantasies aren’t the same.
We once again met for a roll-call to see how far away the phone said we were and it said 1 metre. I looked down and kicked myself for not following instructions in the first case. tftc

While camping in the area with my geodog Scruffy, we just had to get out and find a few more caches ...

Went to go get some hot chips on the bike and quickly went to see if I could turn this cache into a smiley. Luckily the cache was found quickly and went to get the chips before the rain came in. TYFTC.
A bike ride around today,
took me out Karawatha way
Here I was revisiting an old nemesis !! [:o]
So would this time around be hit ... or miss ??
Well after a few seconds of looking,
the cache was spied [:o]
I couldn't believe it,
I almost cried
Tears of joy of course
The Sunny Coast has been notoriously tough to find caches in.
So this was a welcome,
if not rare !!,
cache find

The immediate area has had a facelift, however the cache is exactly where it should be
I think the area in which the cache was hidden has now been replaced by some grass.
A quick find our coords were spot on for this one. Thanks for placing this cache here.

Saturday. Wow. Very sneaky cache hide here. The very nearby property – right at GZ, had some workmen working away today and had their car and concrete mixer right next to the cache! We looked and looked for the cache when the guys went inside the property to see if we could make a quick find. In the end, we spotted the sneakily hidden cache and managed to sign our names and make a quick getaway. So glad for the picture! It helped a great deal
This was the 4th of 8 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***electro_man***, for showing us this place.

An invite from Mrs Slow Puncture to cache on the Sunshine Coast was unexpected, but happily accepted. I parked the geomobile and we strolled to GZ. There, we thought we were going to be thwarted by the tradies working at a nearby property. We searched and searched for this cache for a long time before something was spotted. We were happy to add our names to the log for this one. After returning the cache to its spot, we continued on our way. TFTC
I searched and searched and searched but still did not find it! This is a tricky little cache
No luck for us today recommend looking closely around you lots and lots of spiders but no cache for us today
Riding the pushie around the area,
I headed in from the other end of the track to GZ
A good poke around and I couldn't find the cache
Ah well !!

After tending to some business on the coast and visiting the C.O. he decided to walk down with us and let me go ahead and make the find. I found extremely easy as there was no cover on it so I covered and hopefully others will do the same. TFTC
Couldn't find our way to the cache so decided to read the description - why don't we ever read it first!! This done, we parked up next to the bus stop and wandered through the vacant plot to GZ and started my search. First place I looked with no luck so widened my search and soon had the cache in hand. Out for the day on the Sunshine Coast with Brother Colin.
GPS was spot on here and I made the find very quickly. TFTC, electro_man.

Today, IolantheK and myself, have planned a BIG day geocaching around the Sunshine Coast finding LOTS of them.
We had our first find around 6:30 am and our last find was about 6:00 pm with approximately 50 finds.
With both of us having cached around here before we sometimes had the case of this cache is for me and that cache is for you.
A quick find here before spotting the cache.
Thanks for the cache.

Out today to try to get smiley for a few of the Karawatha caches. The sun was shining brightly on this cache which made it easier to find. TFTC electro man.
