It's been nearly 2 years since a find so perhaps the CO needs to check this as it looks like it was noted as gone a year ago.

Venturing further afield for the daily cache. Lovely sunny day but very windy to have a look around this bay. Made our way along the slippery path and with the aid of the hint cache revealed itself. All in good order.TFTC

My second stop after work before the long weekend. I enjoyed this one because it wasn't just a garden-variety cache hunt, and with the recent rain the climb put my new track runners to the test. I was quite happy to discover that they worked really well and I didn't do much slipping and sliding even with the rain yesterday. Apparently I had eagle eyes and ended up spotting the tiny cache from about 3 meters away. Glad to have found it quickly I made my way back downhill without any slipping and sliding. A very enjoyable bush bash up the hill...TFTC!

Went out again today with Yorkshirekiwi83 to find a few more caches between Titirangi and Huia. Went up the bank a bit early, so came back down and went along to another spot and quickly had the cache in hand. TFTC!

Vistra and I were in the area so wandered along the beach and found a couple of possible entries, one more likely than the other, quick scramble up the bank and soon spotted it TFTC

What a great beach-arrived here about lunchtime so made the most of it then scrambled to cache-thanks for bringing us here

Lost count of all the slides that I did, anyone visiting will see my signature slide. Thankfully managed to stay upright just. A few hint items had me searching in a few other places, when I probably should have focused on the GPS.

Tide out, beautiful sunny day, although blustery winds quickly wake you up. I went to the wrong track initially, turned around quickly as it looked more like someones private path, once on the right track it was the wet slippery track that gave me the most fun. Thanks for the hide Big Grin

I found the cache after a short search. Back at the beach, I ran into a couple who asked if I was Geocaching. I told them all about it and a few of my best stories. I think they may give it a go someday. TFTC.

#319. Another nice little Manukau Harbour beach though more publically accessible than the last one I did today The informal trail was quickly found as was the hint object and the cache was soon in hand. TFTC Samantha.

Great view of the Manukau harbour today - and a low tide! A favorite part of Auckland. Had my old running shoes on so was careful on the steeper area near gz! Found after few mins - thanks for the cache and good hint!

Had to take the long way in to get to this cache. Nearby neighbours out side on their deck having their morning cuppa meant we had to be very quiet as we were extremely close. Startled a very large skink as I located the cache.

Quite a challenge for a beginner!

11-Oct-14
Had a few problems with the uphill traction, but no problem finding the cache or getting back down again.

Ack, western motorway rush hour traffic. Nonetheless beared it, picked up FMZ and we made our way to GZ. After a bit of climbing about the cache was soon spotted. Left a pretty good geotrail for the next finders! Wink

Joint (FTF) with funkymunkyzone!

Thanks!
