Went to check on this cache today and have noticed it has gone missing. I have removed what was left and will make a new cache in this area. This was one of my favorite caches. Thanks to everyone for the great logs.

A variety of caches, made up the dozen smiley tokens to add to our basket, after a somewhat frustrating day spent around Manor Lakes, Tarneit, Werribee and Hoppers Crossing.
What a great hide, well stocked with treasure - certainly brighter than crypto currency.
Thanks arkbell80 for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

What a hoot, this was a really enjoyable adventure. I decided to follow the pacing instructions and was happy when I got to the end and spotted something interesting. This is fantastic, it is very well constructed. The whole theme of the hide and method of getting there is well done - a favourite point for sure.
Thanks to arkbell80 for placing this cache.

Out caching with Simsfamily from Weeribee to Truganina and everywhere in between with the usual encouraging banter.
Wow, we wondered around looking for wpt1 not spotting the obvious, once that was sorted we headed off to the hide. After aquick search Fred was spotted.
Log signed and replaced as found.

With not being all that well of late and only just getting back on my feet I was very grateful for Ausfox; getting me out and about for a day of predominantly park and grabs with a few short walks thrown in. I will need to build up to our more adventurous outing again hopefully soon.
After the GPS took us on a little loop we eventually found the obvious WP1 . Once there we were quickly able to work out the coords for GZ. Not too far away and after a short hunt the was our buried treasure.
Thank you arkbell80 for a great multi and you can have a favourite point for your good work

To scary for me to get so Dad reach in and got it. Used the Navigator Path. TNLN TFTC
We decided to challenge ourselves to sharkiefan's Multicache Mystery Challenge Cache for July 2017 and headed off towards Werribee to grab a few multis today. This was our second of 31 to be found in July.
We used the Captain's Path, but Nel's steps were a little smaller than a Captain's because she was a few metres off.
TFTC:)

The adults enjoyed this as much as the geokids did. Thanks arkbell80. A favourite point from us.
Find # 4328
Found with sharkiefan
After the event we decided to tackle some of the "big city" caches, (well for me this is big city, for sharkiefan this was the outer suburbs)
A well cammoed cache and an impressive guardian, that got me well done.

Very very nice cache. One to do with kids for sure. Found with FUF009. A favorite too. Tftc
Cache is back up and running in a new spot close by. It's time for some treasure hunting.
I continued my walk in this area and found myself at this clever multi. I used the coloured numbers approach and soon after I discovered the pirate's treasure.
A great cache for kids of all ages to do!

Found the pirates treasure!!! We added to the treasure by putting a TB into the stash. Love the work that has gone into this one. Well done! TFTC. It's a bit chilly tonight. But it's been a while since we have done a cache. Got a few TB's from QLD to put out!
Well today I felt more like Captain Feathersword than Captain Hook.
I put on me best pirate act and was soon on WP1.
Left here, right here back here up here.
Ahoy X marks the spot.
I was soon signing the log on International Geocaching day!!

GeoP had just spent the morning with a friend at the shops nearby and watching a movie. This cache fit the requirements of the recent GC souvenir. I dragged my muggle friend along who had heard of geocaching but didn't know much about it ... time to show her.
Found a park close by and wandered off towards the starting point. Whilst there searching for the clues along came the CO with pooch. A lovely chat with the CO who then watched on as I stumbled around like a drunken pirate following the ever moving arrow. After completing the drunken pirate dance the gold was found arrgggg
Nice cammo job arkbell80 - hope to see you at the mega

Took us a while to find this one! First followed the directions but changed it up and went with the exact coordinates. It's not right where they lead but very close if you have a look around. Hidden well with a. Golden surprise inside! Well done 5 stars
Arh there mee hardies. Me came sailing across the seven seas in hunt of some treasure. Me and my scallywag of a crew found X and started pacing. As being captain vamp1blade I was the one making this wholesome bounty. Put my mark on the log and now back to the ship to make the crew walk the plank. Arhhh captain vamp1blade signing off
I was in the area a few days ago but run out of time to check this guy out so it was on my list of caches to do today.
On arrival I decided to look for the numbers and soon had a set of co-ords and off to see what I could dig up.
Great idea and I can see that a lot of thought and effort has gone into the hide but I saw one just like this fellah at the 2014 mega where the reviewer from W.A. found it and after logging archived and locked it,
I hope this does not happen here.
Well done and another F.P. from the ageing bushfire.

What a wonderful cache. Had a great time finding it. Slightly perturbed by Fred and the 3 love frogs guarding the cache!
Been driving past many times.... today is good time to pop in and look around and read the description..
I tried to take a walk to South West South, East, South, West, North, West, South, East, North then finally North East. wow there it is. Felt so good with myself.
Great hide and cache.
Put fav!
Thanks arkbell80

I had had my eye on this one for a while. I had decided to do the colours bit although the rain made them look a little different. Hmmmmm...... So I decided to do the walking bit and despite only using the compass for the first section ended up about three paces from something curious! A very good hide and an interesting multi, thanks arkbell80.
My first ever multi. Tried walking it but was way off so used the navigation. What an awesome hide. Loved it. Thanks for a fun cache.
So much fun, thank you. Fred really scared us we didn't see him at first. Such an impressive hide.
I enjoyed this multi on a nice morning while by myself on a walk while Mrs. Sigoli had a back rub- TFTC ps luckily Mrs Sigoli didn't help find this one as she's a little afraid of hairy things
Cache has been replaced in a different spot, everything has been updated and cache has much better camo. Have Fun
Awesome -
Both Mel & I enjoyed this well setup Multi - We decided to take the captain path as it seemed like a fun little task to tackle - indeed it was fun, & simple.
Great idea for a mutli
The hide was a quick find, with excellent Camo - bold and evil ... HAHA you know what I mean
As I said we had a ball with this one - shall recommend.
Many thx to the CO - Lok'n fwd to the next instalment.

Bettyboo3747 and I jumped into the geo-chariot and went down to Altona and Hoppers for a few local caches.
We though we would do the Captains way, but also calculated the Navigator's Path. All we can say is the Navigator will not get anywhere past WP1 as that is the numbers you get. This needs checking.
The captain must have had his eye patch over both eyes, or had been into the rum early!
It did lead us to the buried treasure (and its guardian). Very cute, and a nice idea for a multi.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 9676. Out and about on a grey cool day with Robmc gathering up a few caches around Hoppers Crossing and Werribee. A bit of a frustrating caching day overall - I am used to rural caching and find urban caching much harder to cope with., however we did manage 16 finds and 1 DNF.
We found the X with no problem and the numbers too. Think the navigator must have gone on strike when setting up the puzzle - we worked things out and found we were at the starting point. Mmmmm, something amiss here. Walked the walk and got to GZ for a nice find. A nasty piece of work. We took no treasure and left no treasure.
Thanks arkbell80

Our first multi and boy was it fab! Thanks so much for the thought and effort put into this. Geokids loved being pirates (as did I haha). Fred says hi
After a spectacular group DNF at a cache earlier in the day, I decided to cut my losses and seek out a couple of caches I could actually find on my way home. I wasn't going to do this one, however I was intrigued by the different method offered up for finding the cache. On arrival at the posted coordinates I was unable to find the 'X'. All good though, the area was devoid of muggles and I was confident I was at the correct tree, so I made like a pirate captain and paced it out. It's more fun that way anyway I paced it out pretty good too, as once I ran out of instructions GZ was pretty obvious. I like the hide, particularly the surprise upon opening—fortunately for me I am not afraid, otherwise this cache could have had an unhappy ending for me! TFTC!
Had a bit of fun doing this one, especially as I couldn't find the X on the tree. Thanks for a great cache and a surprise ending.
Found 28/6/2015
Avast, land lubbers! The booty was well hidden, but we found our loot! Yarr!

Ahhhhhhhrgh! Yep, that's the extent of my pirate talk. I'm celebrating 15 years of geocaching with six new souvenirs. This one is for finding a geocache with 10 or more Favorite Points. A quick find using the fun clues, cool cache at GZ too! Thanks arkbell80, I'll add another fav to this one!

Needed this one for the challenge, so whilst down in werribee picking up the infamous Daniels donuts saw this one had the required number of favourites or more to give us a smilie and a token. Other member of geordie family either left in bed and our parrot of the family didn't join us on this caching trip this time, though we did pick him a piece of wattle from near gz. Struggled to read the colours in the light, so used the captains way (which was what I wanted to do anyway). Hubby stepped it out and came close enough for us to immediately see what we were looking for. Well thought out and executed gz. Easy multi when having to consider threatening rain lol. Fave point awarded for ingenuity, certainly something different. TNLN ftfs.

With the main festivity of the early morning (arguably the world's longest WWFM event) over in record time, the hardy souls that braved the 3 a.m. meetup dispersed to celebrate with, well, more caching.
After spending the hours of darkness playing Ingress, my travelling companion needed to be home some time this morning, so I dropped him and his motorized skateboard near the end of the suburban rail network, then turned my mind back to caching. Noting there were a few hides nearby, I decided to see if I could nab a few before heading back towards Geelong.
My second target in the park on this brisk morning... I took the Captain's path, and only had to pace it out three times to get to the right spot, where I said good morning to Fred (such a friendly chap) before signing the log.
Now, that was a fun cache. Cheers, arkbell80.

12:00, 8 May 15. Arrrrrr me hearties, there be pirate treasure here.
I thought I should hunt for something other than a traditional. This is my second multi, my first being Fish Out of Water at Holbrook, NSW - so another one with a nautical theme.
Found using the captain method. Couldn't find it straight away, so did a form of triangulation by walking the walk three times. Ended up in a slightly different spot every time, but still found it. I think I need a good old prismatic compass for this sort of thing. #160

This was different.
It didn't appear on my GPS so I tried to find the treasure at the listed co-ords at first for some reason. Walked back to the car and read the description on the I pad. Oh! - the penny dropped.
All I can say is that I am a better Pirate Captain than a navigator. I could not make that work. I kept blaming the new GPS for saying it was too far away. Reluctantly became a captain and sure enough I found the well hidden treasure in this lovely park.
A very unique idea well worth a favourite point - thanks arkbell80

What a delightful idea and attention to detail that went into this multi!
we were stunned to find that the two approaches led to different spots for GZ. Checked and re-checked our calculations and proceeded to make the find using the Captain Path. The Navigator Path requires some fixing.
We enjoyed the Wp as well as GZ, great work.

Whilst caching with Daynaduc this am we had great fun finding the buried treasure - had to do the pacing twice due to going in the wrong direction at times!!We did appreciate the great hide and the amazing specimen guarding the cache!! We will give you a fav from us for the planning and implementation that went into this excellent multi cache.

I've been thinking that I should attempt some more of the nearby caches. Today was the start of that and this was my first. I loved this one , loved the theme and the idea. Left one of the TBs that I found on a recent trip to Thailand. TFTC.
Found by Mary & David at 1555. Haven't done any local caches for a while, so this afternoon was the time to remedy that situation. David enjoys navigation, so we tried that approach first, but it lead precisely nowhere, so we switched to the Captain path. After pacing left, right and centre, we arrived at a likely spot that found the nicely camouflaged hide. Had a smile when we met the cache guardian, then proceeded to log our find. The Navigator path needs checking. Our thanks to arkbell80.
Loved this Cache Our steps were a little short but we were very close and found it within the minute . Came with DeJohns and used it as the starting point for our First Travel Bug.
Fantastic Cache! Found with Bazinga01 this morning to move some travel bugs along. One will be going to America! I loved the "surprise" in the cache!

So today we officially became Victorians as we moved into our new house. But moving stop the need to grab a quick cache to keep the 100 in 100 streak alive! This isn't too far from home, sounded pretty cool and was something different to a traditional to mark the occasion (whilst also having some traditionals nearby if I ran into trouble!). A few laps around WP1 to find the numbers but I soon had them. I had always planned to do the captains way but thought I'd input the navigator way just to check myself. The numbers seemed to have me very very very close to WP1 and nothing looked like a hiding spot. So off on the captains way and I soon finished up not too far from GZ....hmmm nothing but flat ground. A quick 360 degree scan around and something looked suspiciously out of place and yes there was a cache there. A great little hide. Fav point from me, and TFTC.
Arrr, a band 'o pirates came here to find th' treasure 'n found it was before the bells tolled dusk. This here cache marks my cache of the day and ye earn a favourite point ye scurvy arkbell80. Me matey Moonjami the TB will be staying behind with Fred.
Wow, I'm the FTNF! A sudden heavy downpour disrupted the search. One thing I know... I'll be back!
Like any self respecting pirate would, I opted for the Captain's Path. The weather was turning and it had begun to rain, but I luckily found my booty without much trouble. I left behind the bullion and bid a hasty retreat, lest any scurvy muggles saw me and chose to investigate. TFTC, have some pirate humour for your efforts.
Why are pirates called pirates?
Because they arrrrhh!

With only three days remaining in the year and aiming to average three cache finds per day for the year, a trip out of town (Geelong) was necessary to push the numbers up a little. So, with the weather fast closing in, the wind rising and the rain threatening, I grabbed Geohubby and headed up the road.
By the time we arrived, the wind was blowing a gale and the rain had begun. In a bid to speed things up, I opted for the Navigator path, however I suspect I fell for a red herring and so we tried the Captain path instead. So, after a few minutes wandering back and forth (I suspect that anyone watching would have thought that perhaps we'd not quite recovered from Christmas drinks !) we found ourselves in a possible location, but with no sign of the cache.
As I widened the search, Geohubby tried a more direct approach and fortunately spotted something NQR. Then, with the branches lashing all around us and the rain beginning to fall in earnest, I signed the log and we beat a very hasty retreat to the safety of the Geo6E.
Thanks arkbell80 for a clever cache !

Found on another caching adventure with Trailrunning, With the day off we decided to head out to the Western Suburbs and do a few caches, the higlight being the TSS caches.
A day off work prior to Christmas break saw Rebel Acts and I going for a drive out this way to pick up a few caches. Nice little run and heaps of fun. Thanks
Arrr, me hearties, I be finding the Captain's treasure.
Fun cache, quick find during an early morning walk. A few muggles about getting their exercise before the heat of the day, so had to be careful.

Forgot to bring a pen to sign the cache. But this was awesome. So much effort. Could the next person please sign my name "wild_rabbit 14/12/14" thanks! For the placer of this cache i commend! Well done.
Also the navigator path seemed to give me the starting position. Could the owner check this.

TFTC was a fun one. We did it the real pirate way and found the treasure with no problems.
Suscoe was 2Tf for this cache this afternoon.
A delightful afternoon greeted us here.
We were somewhat puzzled with the process at the listed co-ords but after sorting out what was and wasn't possible we did our version of a pirate walk and soon spotted the likely hide.
Thanks to arkbell80 for placing this cache.
All good today.

Woohoo, a FTF! Great cache for the kids although we did not have ours with us. 2 compasses between us had us going in 2 different directions, but eventually we sniffed out the gold! Have taken TB and will be placed in a premium cache hoping it will be found by people who willdo the right thing as we have had our own disappear. TFTC
