Spent the day checking out the sights of Tamworth and grabbing some caches. TFTC.

I was up in Tamworth a few weeks ago and realised I have not logged my finds. A quick find while keeping my eye on an approaching storm, thanks.
On my way to Brisbane from Canberra to do some work on a house. A quick find, TFTC.
Found at 1012. Our last day in Tamworth had an enjoyable couple of days geocaching around the a district. An easy park & grab for us today. TFTC.
We had the area to ourselves today so we had a very comfortable caching experience. As cachers we certainly put our hands in places that we would never had dreamed off before becoming hooked on the past-time. SL TFTC
I was worried when I read the clue but I had nothing to fear. Quick grab. TFTC Cheers
After spending several months house sitting around the Central Coast, Sydney and Bateman's Bay it is time to head back to Queensland.
Day 2 of my drive northwards.
Plenty of caches in Tamworth. Unfortunately I do not have time to find them all.

An easy find, grandies found it straight away. They are intot tthe swing of this - and then enjoyed the swings next door in the Athletics fields.
1 of 4 attempted geocaches this morning in the 15 minutes I had to race around this area before being picked up. Only got 3 (or 2 really as I assume this is also the GCA cache of the same name and location) as I ran out of time as I arrived at the 4th. TFTC
Out and about exploring the Tamworth area with CAD - cache by cache! Amazing facilities out here T4TC:)

I keep getting the messsage that the magnet is loose. I keep checking and all is OK
We have travelled up from Sydney, to spend a week or so in Tamworth & Nundle for the April school holidays, staying at the Big4 Paradise caravan park in our Jayco Swan outback camper trailer. Today we were visiting the various Antique & Op Shops around Tamworth, and collecting some caches along the way. After some lunch back at camp the geofamily wanted some afternoon rest time, but geodad was hungry for more caches, so he headed out solo to pickup some caches around the South Tamworth area. This was the 11th find of the day, 35th find of the holiday.
This one was a quick "park & grab", a bit too quick as I found it laying on the ground. There was no magnet on the container, so I couldn't hide it correctly, so it's just tucked into the GZ "feature" at ground level, but not out in the open as it had been found. TNLNSL. TFTC.

I can't believe this. This is the second time the magnet has been reported lost since I replaced it in January. Checked again today. There is nothing wrong.
Once more I have checked this cache. Once more there is nothing wrong with the cache. I think it must be the metal it is attached to. It just doesn't grab like a powerful magnet.
Checked again today. Nothing wrong, all is in place. I replaced the faulty cache in January and it has been found a number of times since and all OK.
Here for the Landmark Classic horse sale. Didn't get the horse but found a cache. TFTC
Sounds like there is a horse sale on! Lots of cars and horse trailers but we managed to park right beside the cache! TFTC
Found cache on ground but no magnet- previous person found magnet- put back around where it should be
Need a maintenance for a magnet which previous person as I found cache was found separate on ground
Driving through tamworth on our way to QLD. Quite spot to stop and add another smiley. Tftc

We must be a bit strange if the first stop in a new town is here and the first act is to de-cobweb the structure here. But the cache was found, so each to his own. TFTC
Lots of horses but they were not close enough to worry us. We did hear some voices inside the nearby building but they couldn't see us. The cache was entirely wrapped in cobwebs, but once they were cleared we could sign and return it. TFTC
Spent 2 nights in Tamworth, and geo-hubby went out to find some local caches.
Cache found after a short search, and in good condition.
