TFTC Thanks for the historical tour. We enjoyed the connection of Granny SmithFound with EGB007TMB007AJB007
Lovely cache with history attached to it. I enjoy these a lot, gives the area more meaning. Coords were a little off but hint helped, tftc
Found it and wrote in the log, left a little picture of Mickey Mouse
Took a bit of searching but found it in the end

Our first find today on a walk through the area. Quickly found and all in order. TFTC!
Found easily. With a conveniently placed stick I could remove the spiders web and left for the next person to use. Never knew about the Ray family however I did know about the Granny Smiths being from this area
I appreciate the sentiment behind the cache. RIP Ranger Pete. Found with no issues. TFTC!
We were looking in the bushes then we saw the hint and then we looked to the left of the ray family sign and saw a pocket notebook.

Thank you for the interesting description! This was our first cache! Great start!
Pretty sure it's the apples from the apple tree, but it's winter so obvious none were there
Found while caching around the area, visiting from Maitland. TFTC

Got to GZ and started looking, decided to stand back a bit and that’s when I spotted the cache.
5/5 today - I wrongly signed a few of the logs 2-1-2021 !
I had to avenge my DNF on "Under My Thumb" - www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC7GKNH - trust the GPS and don't be distracted by that sleeper ! Creative hide. Cache is in good order but I only deserve half a point as I had to PAF. TFTC
Then off on a walk of a few km for a few more;
"It's A Bit Nippy" https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC77MFJ - I wondered about the name ! Was it in the water ? A quick find, though I did hesitate going there as it has had 3 months of growth. A great bush track. Cache is in good shape. TFTC
Now off to "Ranger Pete (honorary)" www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC5DQXV. Nice history lesson about the family and the area. Again 4 months since the last find so I was glad to have the hint on this one. Cache is in good condition. Thanks for the work you put into this one.
Onto "Cameron's Cache" www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC12NFB- Um! A DNF back in October and last found August, 2020 ! Doubtful ! This Pioneer Walking Track is really a fantastic area of bushland most notably different to other bush tracks in this area like Hunts Creek and Seville Reserve due to the abundance of tall straight River Red Gums also a lot of bird feeders, possum hides and water dragons. I'll do this walk many more times. I took the middle track past the cache and looped back high side. An easy find due to a good hint. A big cache full of lots of great little trinkets for the kids. Well done. I took a small Brachiosaurus for my Grandson and left a few acorns from Under My Thumb. Bushed it down carefully to the lower track on the way out. Favourite point for this one.
Last one for today was "Preservation" www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC7FYCD. I'm glad I read the logs about dress code ! I once wrote a song with the line "Lantanna doesn't listen" man that stuff is bad and can scratch you up. A large cache full of interesting items but little place to sit today after the rain overnight, it was steamy and there were mossies so I quickly signed the log book and put it all back together. The parcel did intrigue me ! TFTC.
Back to the car to drive home and off we go and big spider fell from my hat right between my legs - that log about long pants saved me again. Instant squish !
Right what's on TV this arvo !!
Thanks all.

After my weekly swim in Epping, I drove around the area for some geocaches.
Ranger Pete was soon located at a deserted park. The dry grass cracked under my feet as I approached the plaque...oh how I wish it would start to rain for a long time.
It was not long before I had CIH.

Beautiful story. I sit here and can imagine you playing in the park carefree. Tftc

Went to the exact spot according to the hint and my GPS, but it wasn’t there. Maybe it got taken?
I can’t imagine the bush carers would be too happy people walking all over their plot and while I do this as my career I am giving it a favourite for bringing attention to it and the heritage walk and it is a beautiful spot. Tftc tnln
A quick little cache while i was in the area. Had to hide from the Landcare people, who were out doing fantastic work, but I felt wouldn’t appreciate me deviating from the path!

Out today to try and complete the Mystery At The Museum.
After completing a nearby cache and I parked the car so close, I had to find this one.
I arrived at the GZ and soon had the container in hand.
The container and contents where wet. The log was also missing.
I dried the container and the contents. I removed all the wet items and replaced the log with a new sheet.
Re placed the container back and recovered.

An after dark, after work cache.
After battling my way through peak hour traffic i made it to the park.
It didnt take too long to find the cache by torchlight thanks to the good coords and the helpful hint.
I spotted the cache slightly hidden from view but missing any covering camo.
While the cache had some goodies inside it was missing a log so i added a temporary replacement.
Replacing the container i added a small bit of camo on top of it.
This cache find marks the 300th day of my streak. Im determined to make it to 366 days if it kills me.
Thanks almic39.

Great little bit of history! Have really enjoyed exploring the trails around here this arvo.
Luckily due to the shade no muggles around!
Coords initially pointed me somewhat away but the hint was clear and cache found.
Cache is in excellent nick!
Thanks

OCW Oldmorty and travelling the Pioneers Trail. Stopped here at this little oasis and after a bit of wandering, found the cache where the hint suggested. TFTC!
OCW Morty8888. After circling around for some minutes dodging spider webs, it was Morty8888 who spotted a three trunked tree and soon had the CIH. TFTC alnic39.
Tftc. Nice little park to find a cache. took a while for GPS to settle but soon found the right location and had the Cache found and signed and replaced it where i found it.
