Another good quick find as I headed back along the track. No issues at all at GZ and the logbook was soon signed. Cache replaced and I sat for a few minutes enjoying a bit of shade. Thanks for another one...
Found with catnap777. [^]21 September 2024 @5:50 pmThis was the last one (missed on the way there) collected on the way back from the cache from hell. (we loved it )The themed container has pretty much fallen to bits, but the log is safely held in place clean and dry. Day one was mostly spent rounding up caches in the "Rocky" series. [B)] This was day two of our assault on Lerderderg which had us making our way as far along Square Bottle Track as "Whiskey Creek Circuit...Worth Bottlin'" before heading back to the car and relocating further south for a bit of a go at Ah Kow Track on the other side of Mt Blackwood. It was a ripper day that started back in Hepburn Springs (where we had spent the night) looking over a couple of Earth Caches there, before making our way to Lerderderg for another walk in the park. 21 September 2024 17:48Just because we didn't think we had done enough hiking this weekend, dalerious and I decided to drive to this end of the park, hop out the car and go for another hike through the hills. This is after claiming 4 Rocky caches and undertaking 5 >10km walks, so far. After enjoying a leisurely stroll finding and signing this series, we noticed another traditional a kilometer further down the track; ah, what the hell, you only live once right.Boy, what a journey that was........but that's another story which I will tell later. Was so lovely to see the themed containers still in existence for this lot. It made for a fun trek. You have a wonderful sense of humour mudbrick. We especially loved Storm in a C Cup!All caches were found in good condition. Thank you UGCT for looking after these gems. Please note I will use this same log for all along Ah Kow trail, except "gesundheite".
Great 5.5 hrs trekking round Lerderberg Gorge today. My route was across the Ah Kow track across to the Bear Head Range track and up to the Fox Gully track.Just on 5.5hrs covered and some heavy elevation changes too.Managed to pick up 12 smileys including some love on a few too!I dropped down much lower in elevation than needed. So back up I went again.Approach was spot on and the log was signed.TFTC
A great series along the trail, enjoying the view and the laughs with deanside.
Thanks UltimateGeoCacheTeam for placing this cache and contributing to this great game. Found some wombat scats nearby which I find fascinating …being square lol. Out and about with Connieandrick Happy trails, Deanside

*Cache find # 14709.*
By now we were looking at the name of each cache and before getting to them, trying to guess what it may be, some are pretty interesting, but eay to find.
Our stroll in the hills went for 6 hours & 50 minutes and covered a total of 17.5 kilometres with a total of 974 Ascent metres, it was certainly a big day in the end.
**Thanks to UltimateGeoCacheTeam for placing this cache.**

Out on my Sunday stroll, I think this was getting me ready for what is to come later in the day. Bit of a one sided game. TFTC
The terrain is a tad steep but eventually found it. Love the peace and tranquillity TFTC
Wow that hill climb to this cache is insane not for the easy walkers and be extreamlyy careful going to this cache very slippery when it's wet and it's what I did today.. thankyou for this fine, all in good order
Having a day out in the Lederderg Forest and collecting a few caches while i enjoy this area A. very neatly placed cache Thanks mudbrick
Well, they say three is a crowd. It’s definitely the case here. Two of the guardians have left their posts and moved on elsewhere, leaving one lone guardian to watch over the cache. They are doing a great job of it as well. I think they deserve a promotion! It’s a bit slippery going down this hill but I made it. Coming back up was definitely easier. TFTC
You will need to be a mountain goat for this one take your time and watch your steps
A great morning spent hiking this track with my trusty canine companion. Loved the themed hides along here. I adore this part of the world. Can’t wait to come back in future
Tftc. Enjoying our stroll into the lederderg forest .... little did we know what was ahead of us. But enjoying the sunshine on a lovely winter's day.
Tftc - great day out in a beautiful area. I love how these takes you places you would never see...
After stopping at a touch site i set my sites on the next cache . I soon found the scene and signed the log book . Tftc

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
Hi there Cache Owner,
This cache has come to my notice as there is a 'Needs Maintenance' log that that indicates there is some sort of issue with the placement and it needs your attention please.
Check out the Guidelines here: [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable the cache**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will unfortunately have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

These themed cache containers are great! However, the plastic cover on this one is a bit cracked, and the log is nearly full. Tftc
This started out as a hike. Then I decided that since I prefer trail running, maybe I'd wear my running gear so as to speed things up. Then while deciding where to go/what caches to chase, I decided to include a walk along Lerderderg Gorge where there is no path. So was it a hike? Was it a trail run? I'm going to call it an adventure run. There was running, there was hiking, there was wading along and across the river, there was scrambling down and climbing up. And there was geocaches
17km, 670m of elevation gain, 5hrs and 13 caches later, I returned to my car. What a day!
Thanks

We picked this cache up at 12:13pm. Even though this one has experienced a fair bit of UV cooking, the original intent is still clear.
I picked up the other caches in this series way back in 2015, when I was a lot more broken. Back then the first three was all I could manage. Today I headed out with a buddy from work, the newly christened Galaxy Monkey. We picked up most of the trail and hard a great walk in nice cool weather.
Thanks for the cache and the series UltimateGeoCacheTeam.

After attending two events at Pikes Res today i had plans to kayak there afterwards to find some of the mystery caches hidden around there. But with the weather turning nasty i had this small series of caches recommended to me to find instead.
I found the first three or four in order before deciding to head straight to the last one in case the rain set in then work my way back to the car. It was at the last cache i met up with Alansee and we then teamed up and headed back together.
A great series of caches, loved the novelty cache companions and the play on words in the titles. Thx mudbrick for placing and to the UltimateGeoTeam for maintaining. Cheers!

Found these caches on a cold but not too bad day. Each one was a clever play on words apart from one which appears to have been replaced. Met Perpetuallylost when just heading back and enjoyed his company. Many thanks to mudbrick and the UltimateGeocacheTeam for placing and maintaining the caches.
Found a bit of spare time today so I thought I would use it productively and find a few caches.
A couple of different walking tracks to take but I was after the one that had a few cache’s on it.
Parked the Geocruiser, picked the right track and off I went in search of a few more.
This was far as I got today would have like to go but alas not for me today.
Another well thought out themed cache was found and a fav goes out to you for bringing me up here and andgetting me out on this track.
Thanks mudbrick & UltimateGeoCache Team TFTC.

Sorry for the ridiculously late log (almost 3 years), but it seems to have been an oversight.
Classic Mudbrick cache, love it. I got started early on this day and had to keep moving along as I was to get home, have a nap and prepare for nightshift. As the CO knows, I love the theatrical humour of the original CO. Thanks for placing this Muddy and for keeping this one going UGCT.

Ha ha. Impressive to see this one out here. Top is broken and needs replacing.
Today the whole Sistema crew hit the Ah Know track. The walk didn't look too bad and I knew they would be caches that would make us chuckle. And they didn't disappoint. We had lots of fun. Enjoyed the walk and loved the wildflowers. No one but us on this track today. Many many thanks for the cache in a unique hidden location.

After some caching along the Razorback track earlier in the morning I made my way south to look for the only unfound caches I still have in the Lerderderg SP - 5 caches along the Ah Kow track!
A creative cache was served up here today.
Thanks, Mudbrick and UltimateGeoCacheTeam.

We had a great afternoon last weekend venturing along the Ah Kow track with 2 adults, 9 kids and 3 dogs. The kids had so much fun navigating and scampering around the bush racing to find each cache. The dogs were enjoying the freedom. Anticipation was building as we journeyed along excited to see what the next suprise would be!! Unfortunately we had to cut the trip short as tummies were rumbling and the sun was dissappearing.
Thanks for a great series!! Hopefully we'll be back to finish it soon
** The outer lid of this cache looks like it has been crushed. Will need replacing when you get the chance. Log still safe and dry.

Another good find while geocaching in the area today.
Was after dark when I arrived at this walkway, nice night so decided to get the first 8 caches by torchlight.
Impressed at the almost bizaar containers in this series - fun finds.
Going well, nice walk, mostly downhill.

Didn't think we'd be taken this far off track, but glad we made the grade to grab the smiley here. Another fun little find on this entertaining series. Has us thinking we need to do more family-friendly caching! All good at GZ. Quite a few ants have made their home at the container, and who could blame them with such an inviting retreat? Log signed and replaced as found. Tally ho and on to the next. Cheers!
Another lerderderg adventure with Team Justice and some friends.. really enjoyed the imaginative caches along this friendly section of track. TFTC!
Walking the Ah Kow track with Clint&Abby.
We finally starting to get a bit of a harder walk, nothing like what we were just about to experience though. TFTC.

Today was my monthly caching run with Biggles Bear, and the area today was around Mt Blackwood. The bulk of the caches were along a couple of great walks, with a few extras around Bacchus Marsh at the end. As for all the caches along this track, it was an easy find, but a great walk in a great part of the world.
My thanks to mudbrick for the cache.

Although I was with the CO when he placed this one, I was more than happy to head back here at a later date to actually sign it. Tess, as always, loved the walk here, and acts like a puppy, as opposed to the 10yo that she is. Thanks again Muddy, love the time and effort you put into your caches. Always a gauranteed laugh. I love your idea of these hides, an easy find, a great walk and some fun containers. It's what i love to do myself. Another poke around for snakes before uncovering this one Another laugh and another quick find.
We had the morning to cache after Granny offered to look after the little Na'wals. We decided to look at a walk in the Lerderderg State Park and wanted to get out early before the very hot day that was forecast. 42deg plus strong winds but we had done our homework and were happy to make the trip in. Alchey joined my geo wife and myself for the trip. We were very glad the walk was over once back at the car, a great morning it was before the very hot winds and sun. Stamped and replaced as found.

Christmas duties all fulfilled, on a reasonably cool day for December , we fled the city and the long lines of traffic outside the shopping malls to do a bit of much needed exercise and bag a few caches as our reward. This series provided imaginative and humorous caches and, all bar one, were in good condition. We saw plenty of butterflies and birds, and a few kangaroos kept pace before vanishing into the scrub.
Hmm. Who won? An ongoing battle that will never end I fear...
All in good condition.
Thanks and cheers!

I don't know how I missed this one, but it wasn't on the map I printed out. I just happened to spot it on my phone when I did a nearby cache search.....BONUS !! Spot on co-ords had me at GZ in no time. I must say you have a very active imagination to come up with these very creative caches. A real blast this one, with a unique cache container. I don't think I've given so many fave points away in one day before....here ya go mate, have another !! TFTC mudbrick.
(FTF)yeah! Log coming.
Used my new phone to log this after walking back up the hill again.
It was the perfect day for a walk and when I saw the notice of a new cache I just had to try for the FTF. I knew the wildflowers would be out in bloom as I had walked earlier in the week in the same area.
My heart sank when I pulled up at the end of Lohs lane. I thought B1 and B2 had beaten me yet again. However on reaching the cache and opening the uniquely hidden log I was confronted with a blank sheet of paper. Yippee! (Sorry B1 and B2).
Then I was looking around for another for another 'Duff' to both celbrate and to wet the whistle ahead of the hills that I knew were waiting. No such luck. Not even a ball to play with.
Thanks yet again for another cache mudbrick. This was in a great spot and one that caused another smile on the dial. You keep us all entertained with your style of hiding and humour.
I know there will be more around here and I will have to walk this route for the 6/7/8th time. The views are really great around here and make it worth it.
