Searched under the bridge, and up and down the creek, but there was no sign of the cache or its contents.

As I know longer have Sean's lunchbox, I can't really put it back, plus this is the second time it has been raided, so I'm sure it would be taken again.

Introduced Darwin friends to geocaching. Decided to do this cache and the one nearby in the racecourse. Both caches seem to have diasappeared. Seans Lunchbox was there on Sept 30 when we went there on our own.

Found about 5.15 on Monday evening. Not a good time to drive around this area. Peak traffic a bit of a problem. Once off the main roads we drove to within a couple of hundred metres of the site. Clues + GPS lead us directly to the location. Had to wait for walkers to pass by. Took nothing, left nothing.

This little duck found the cache!
(well Geedunk, Scullyk, and King Kong did)

Took sharpener and left an American dollar note...

Thanks for the fun cache - it was King Kongs first find!

15-Sep-02
This was our second find on our first day as of team geocaching. GPS took us right there.

Travis found it with keen Troll Eyes.

We thought Sean might need to sharpen his pencils for school, so left a pencil sharpener (after using it at Novice Stakes). Took the 24/7.

Great spot.

Found by Leigh and Sniffer Dog Jess. Big Grin

Searched the whole area, every single bridge until we found the lunchbox. Good spot, Team Unicyle. Two older people and their dog walked past while I had the cache contents spread and I was logging my visit (By looking in the log book I'd say we were just beaten by Team GeoMyrtle) and stared at me, so I said, Clumsy me, I have dropped my lunchbox.
That is the excuse you use if your busted with this one. Smile

Took Pen left fruit stick and seahorse.

Took bowling man stick pins X 2 and left a note pad and pen

Put the lunchbox back this morning. I've dried everything, and painted it a less conspicuous colour than purple. I haven't added anything, and I've disposed of the chewing gum, which had got wet and gone squishy like it had already been chewed Twisted.

I was in the area today, so thought I'd check out the moisture problem. The lunchbox was out of it's hiding spot with the lid off Twisted. Some things were still in there, but I've taken it anyway, to dry it, replenish it, and camouflage it.

Now who would take the chips and muesli bar, but leave the baked beans and the tomato sauce?

Found by Team Canyonero at 1:15am.

Didn't have any food with me to leave (well not non perishable anyway) so I just left some bowling man stick pins.

Found by Mary & David at 1755, our 10th at the end of an enjoyable day returning from Clare. We had just spent 10 minutes chatting to Alex at his shop right on closing time, and were heading back to Slider & Smurf's for the night, but Mary was keen to try for one more as we were so close. Parked in the same spot we had used when visiting another nearby cache during our last visit to Adelaide earlier in the year, and walked across the park as night fell. Reached GZ in time for a quick look around. No billy goats here, so the cache was spotted just as we were thinking of returning to the car for a torch. Retrieved it to find a good deal of water, at least 1cm deep, inside. Don't know if the lunch box is leaky or the lid just not seated properly. We emptied the water out, and found the log book to be still ok in its bag, as were most of the contents. Some paper-wrapped items need closer scrutiny in daylight though. Next visitor please look more closely at these to check for water damage. A large snap-lock bag to enclose the entire lunch box might also be needed. We took a port glass and left a pack of picnic salt. Our thanks to the Unicyclers.

Found by Team Piggy.

My half eaten Super-Spicy Bum-Burner Salami & Cheese sandwich might have been Ok for a few days in this crisp weather ?? But thought the better of it and left nothing.
Took nothing, Though the flat frogs did look kinda tempting.

Found by Alex and Jock, actually Jock saw it from about 20 metres away as we approached so this is now in my hall of fame as my easiest cache (displacing GeoCoopers' Mcphoto Vale).
We forgot to bring some food so we went away hungry - we might come back to swipe Freddo's Freddos though.

01-Jun-02
Found by Liz and Bruce - didn't see the choc frogs so must have been before Freddo. Took frog and left port glass. The area has a nice Autumn look about it.

Found this cache amongst a plethora of sporting activity. It was lucky that the goals were being scored down the other end.

In the morning we left some frog skins, hardly nutritious. Later in the evening we returned with some fresh frogs legs with chocolate bodies attached.

31-May-02
Found at 1700, after hanging around a bit and waiting for the kiddies' sports match to finish nearby. The brisk weather meant they all scattered with their parents pretty quickly, which left me able to grab the cache without too many onlookers! Swapped a weenie can of baked beans for the jelly bellys, and also took Love-Piggy - ready for the next leg of his adventure.

30-May-02
Found by Team GeoCoopers.
Sat down at my desk this morning to see a new cache had appeared only 1.0 km from my office.
After a brisk jog past all the people walking their dogs I found the cache at 7:45am.
Took the Excites and left the Love-Piggy Travel Bug TBF36 as I didn't have any non-perisable food items for the lunch box with me at the time.
