Logs
Quick find. Found with Mogni and JJ52. All logs stamped as JAMS. It was a day when the JAMS crew got together again or at least three out of the five of us. Plan A was to do the Abandoned railway trail on e-bikes but Allister is out with injury so, Plan B was a day the three of us ( the remianing one is STILL on holiday, that is a dam long holiday ) and host a CITO in propect ( i need a CITO in that LGA ) on sunday and find caches " in that general area ), Mogni decided we needed to attend a event on the yorke's on saturday. So Plan C was born. Off to the Yorke's it was, the first cache found was in Kulpara and then working down to Port Victoria then over to the Welcome to the Yorke Valley Dam event and some tasty food provided and then some more caching to our overnight accommodation in Adrossan. Sunday saw us caching along the coast on the way home, somehow taking a detour through Mallala before getting to prospect to host Cane Reserve Clean up CITO, I even got a cacher from England at the CITO. 80 finds plus labs for the weekend away, it wasn't about the numbers, it was about a relaxing time away. Any caches that were found broken/cracked/etc were replaced and any full log books were replaced.
Friday 13th bad luck. Drove out all this way for nothing. No golden handshake for me today.
Travel to Balaklava to drop off financial documents to my advisor and went to do some more of the Gone Fishn series. Picking up caches on the way and few on way home before it got too dark. All caches were in good condition unless mentioned in my logs. TFTC Found on ground nearby, quickly stamped and placed back at GZ after the golden handshake.
TFTC. Quick trip to YP to grab some caches before wooding season starts and we can’t travel !
Happy caching and safe travels!

This was well worth stopping for but wouldn't want to find it at night. Thanks Yararoo Wanderers.
We spent a couple of hours caching in Port Clinton and the outer area.

A quick pull over here today. The cache was easily found and is all in good order
A quick overnight trip to the Yorkes for 1.5 days of solid caching. I did a bit of the geoart by myself before meeting up with Davidwazza for a majority of the day caching around Innes National Park. With an event in the evening in Edithburgh headed over there before going for a nice walk along the water front for the evening. Day 2 I made my way from Edithburgh along the coast line and back home by lunch time. A total of 169 caches for the trip.
Thanks for the cache

Returning for a shortish stint back home in the Adelaide Hills after an extended visit to Wool Bay for the last few months, I decided to make a day of geocaching to clear the map on the northern Yorke Peninsula, from Paskeville to Lochiel, and including a circuit of Lake Bumbunga. Thanks for the cache Yararoo Wanderes!

We were lucky today to have some beautiful weather and great sights to start our relax away with. Nothing better than fresh air with sea freshness to clear the head, and get the family thinking and working right again. Add in cleaning up some caches and its the perfect day, tftc

Heading up north with Mrs Rat to further attack the massive Fish Tales series and a number of other newer caches that have appeared since our last visit to this part of the country.
A fun cache and a fav from the Adders. Anxious about the road conditions in the Holden on geomobile we were lucky (or unlucky) to be stuck behind a grader leveling the road surface. If we had become bogged I think we would have been towed out with ease. TFTC and the fun.

The Gone Fishn' series has been on the radar for quite some time but who wants to take it on solo. [xx(] Not this little black duck. So when I got an invite from mogni to start the trail on the 18th April I jumped at the chance. We were joined by SA Sewer Rats that day and we made it to the trail at 9.00 a.m. and cached till 5.30 p.m and got from #037 and conveniently finished at #245
We discovered quite a few things. It can be a bit boring. You need to leave the trail every now and then or go bonkers. [B)][B)] Stamping two names and writing one other takes a long time.
Only three days later and mogni and I are back again, this time with BratKat replacing SA Sewer rats and simply using the group name GOTHS to stamp the log books. Boy did that save some time.
This time we also left the trail for a big break in Maitland for a pub lunch and some other caching.[8)]
Unless otherwise stated it was a case of:
Stop- find cache - sign - move on. Repeat. [:o)]
But first we had to get there and once again we meandered our way down to where we take up from where we finished last time. [^]
But is was Saturday the 21st when we found this handy little cache. [:o)]
**Thanks YararooW for this cache. **

Another big day out working towards a milestone. We were targetting the big powertrail but wanted to mix it up a bit and find a few others too. I had my closest encounter with a snake, which fortunately saw me as I didn't see it until it was heading underground.
Thanks to YararooW from mogni

I had left my boat down at Edithburg at a friends and decided that I could have a geocaching trip and go and bring it home.
This was one of the many I found and signed on the way.
I was rather nervous about snakes and thought that would be the obvious spot but do I get down and peer into it?
Bugger! Scared the daylights out of me.
And a silver as well.
