Logs
Sadly this Cache has to be Archived.
This was the first Cache we had ever hidden and we are sad to see it go.
This Cache was located in a tree that is getting carved so there is no longer a place for the cache to be.
Thank you to everyone that has found it previously, we hope you enjoyed it!

Hi
This cache appears to have some problems. It is the cache owner's responsibility to read the logs and check the cache to sort out any problems with it and give an indication of when it may be up and running again for people to find.
**The cache is being Disabled to give the Cache Owner an opportunity to investigate and fix the apparent issues.**
Once the cache is operational again, the CO should write an *Owner Maintenance* log advising that the promlems have been fixed, and to remove the *Needs maintenance* attribute (red cross) if that is showing on the cache page. The CO can then write an Enable log to return the cache to play.
If the cache cannot be fixed it should be archived.
**If there is no response to this log after 30 days the cache will be Archived.**
The [Geocache Maintenance guideline](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported.

Cache is not there and there is a plan to carve the tree so no longer a suitable location.
Tassie Trip Day 57 - So another average looking day and it was decided to go for a little drive and start to clean up the area that we what is still near New Norfolk that is accessable so off along another dirt road and a drive back to a starting point from a previous find that I had no time to look for,
After a run up to Black Magic we returned here to find noting but a wonderful couple of trees that have been standing for a very long time.
Thanks TRAN18 for showing us the area of an old school house now a CWA. but alas a DNF for us today.

We looked everywhere and could not find. A local came along and told us they had seen it there a week ago but is no longer there. He showed us where it was and said it had bark on it, which was also not on the spot. Needs to be replaced by owner
I was working out this way and took a long lunch to grab this cache, it was a quick find after doing a bit of a circle, added my name to the log before eating my lunch on the run.

A road we had never travelled on before took us to a little town we had never visited before either. But once there the cache was quickly located in the obvious place.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Easy find. A nice place for a cache, with easy parking. Micro though. TFTC TRAN18.
We were entertaining a friend from interstate and with heavy rain falling, all our plans for lovely bushwalks and so on had to be aborted. So we came up to the Derwent Valley where the weather was much more pleasant! We popped in finding a couple of caches - although friend was not a cacher and didn't embrace the concept, but it enabled us to see some lovely country side and go to a couple of interesting spots. Like this one! Thanks for the nice hide and cache, TRAN18.
Passing through New Norfolk and diverted to Magra to collect this cache. A quick find. TFTC
Today we travelled to New Norfolk finding caches that had been published since our last visit and this was one of them.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

This was day 64 0f our trip out of Sydney to visit the southern states of Victoria and was Tasmania and was day 22 of the Tasmanian part.
There were no muggles around to hinder the search for this cache and after reading the hint we had a good idea of where we should be looking. That idea was right and the cache was soon retrieved. After the log had been signed the cache was replaced where we found it. There was certainly no room in this cache for a trackable (as per the inventory). Thank you for bringing us to this area and thank you for placing this cache fur us and others to find.

Travelling around Australia and spending a few months in Tasmania.
Hanging out at Mt Field waiting to visit Strathgordon we decided to back track today and pick up the 3 caches that seem findable that we didnt tackle when in New Norfolk.
Straightforward find here of the micro cache.

It was nice to pull up under the shade of the trees and let the kids free to climb, sb8 had the cache while Dr James was still climbing all-over. I Know the importance of a local Brigade after spending 12+ years as a member. Don't give much hope for the two gas bottles around the side thou.

We're half way through our six month stay (til the end of March '16) from the Kurrajong area, (Blue Mountains) NW of Sydney, to tour in the caravan and also visit our kids and grandkids in the Huon Valley On four previous visits before this visit, we were muggles, so we have a whole island of caching fun ahead of us!

This one was fun and easy to find, only a leisurely stroll from my house too so not too much stress there. Great place to hide it too!
Great job!!

TRAN18 I had to read some of the other logs before searching for this on to confirm the cords are a little out as they are on the wrong side of the road.
Any way it was still an easy find and thank you for the cache.

Thought it was bigger , not enough space to drop off TB. GPS way off over other side of road, but looked in obvious place, and easy find.
Found the cache easily although there was no writing implement inside so we couldn't sign. Tftc!
Sue found this in the suspected spot, which we headed to even before entering in the adjusted coords found in an earlier log entry.

For quite some time we have had the idea of finding the caches on the road between the Huon and Derwent valleys, partly on the Plenty Valley Road. We left home a little later than planned which meant, after collecting a couple of caches on the way, we were able to have lunch at the Summer Kitchen Organic Bakery at Ranelagh. Fortunately there were not many trucks on the road.

Called into this cache after the event on to one jump or two. The cache was missing last time and after speaking to another cacher I had a better idea of exactly where it should be. Basically it is still not there. So I have replaced with a new cache container.

Found it with Gooseandegg. A nice quick find but had to be discreet with muggles at nearby houses. TFTC.
Found today with muggle friends. Trying to convince them to join. Dropped geo coin and took one as well.
GPS was off here today, but used our common sense to find the cache. Left geocoin. TFTC!
Congratulations on your first cache TRAN18. Like others had mentioned the GPS wanted us across the road but the description and hint gave us a clear picture of where to look. Found and logged with smiley_bear. We took Gandalf. TFTC
Today we dropped off our very first Trackable!
We hope it gets to its intended destination and back home again safely!
GOOD LUCK LITTLE TIKI!!

As reported by membsec, our GPS too wanted us towards the other side of the road but caching sense directed us to a more likely location. A quick hunt and the cache was in hand. The cache and contents were in good condition. After re-hiding the cache, we took some coordinates and the average was S42 45.335 E147 03.244. Another finder may like to confirm or amend these. Thanks for the cache TRAN18.
*FTF* 12.33pm.
Saw this one come out last night but needed to complete a Montrose FTF before considering a drive to New Norfolk. Once down from the mountain off to this one. IPhone and GPS wanted to take me 15 mts away onto the middle of the road but the hint and geo-sense kicked in to locate the cache. Very surprised to find a clean log and delighted to claim the FTF.
