Logs
We are on another short (three day) caching holiday in North Western Sydney, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Holidays Avina BIG4 Holiday Park at Vineyard. Hoping to collect some more previously solved Mystery/Puzzle caches, complete some of the newly placed Adventure Labs and SideTracked caches, and accumulate some "units of fuel" for the new "Cosmic Quest" souvenir challenge. Photos will be uploaded to logs on our return to home base.Today (day 2) we headed up to Richmond for a SideTracked MultiCache and some Adventure Lab stages, then some more Adventure Lab stages at North Richmond, before travelling via Grose Vale Road to Kurrajong for another SideTracked MultiCache and numerous Adventure Lab stages and an AL Bonus cache. Also crossed paths with two groups of other cachers while at Kurrajong, which ended up looking like a mini Event, so was a nice surprise. Returned via Bells Line of Road, collecting some Traditional caches along the way, including some tree caches requiring our 10 metre TOTT. This was the 1st of 24 finds for the day (day 2), and 19th find of the holiday. We had skipped this cache in the past due to the string of DNFs on it, but had noticed several finds appearing on it recently, so decided to make it our first cache stop for the day. Arrived at GZ and made a nice quick find, but suspect it's a "post DNF" replacement within the original camo. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. Sadly the house is not looking too good these days. Have driven past this one a few times but was put off my DNFs. Decided to have a look this time and made a quick find thanks to the hint. TFTC
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Moving today from Richmond to Morriset. We stopped along the way with the van on tow to grab a couple of caches.TFTC Hawksburyhunters / celinetwlohacolv
Got chased off by a barking dog unfortunately. Debated logging a find just to give a favourite for the story anyway
Day 2 of post-Christmas caching with aubeasty and we still had a bunch to find before we reached our goals. Rain, wind and humidity could not stop us and the mix of ALs and trads in the area got us over the line before the end of 2020, phew!
The area was not what I expected when I looked at a map, but the location was found easily. A nice way to keep the memory alive.

An afternoon in the Riverstone area for the new AL and of course supplemented with a few extra caches.
A big for sale sign and a neglected old house was the backdrop for this geocache. It took a bit of time before number 12 was spotted but then the cache was quickly found.

After a fail on the previous attempt today I spotted the item quickly and made a nice discovery!

A nice easy find early in the morning.
I wanted to target one where i would be unlikely to run into other people and this one looked like it fit the bill.
After parking down the road from the GZ i headed back on foot and spotted a likely hiding place from a distance.
The container is in good condition and the log is dry.
Thanks.

I guessed correctly what I was searching for, and that gave me a quick find. A nice cache. Favourite tick. I left a sparkly necklace. TFTC Colvinakastretch, Hawksburyhunters / celinetwlohacolv (Not sure who to thank )
We found this cache together as a family while the weather was good. Not too sure if the cache was in its original condition but it's there at least. Thank you for bringing us here.
Thanks for the cache.

There are several places from my childhood that also have that special nostalgia, and which are no longer the way I remember them growing up. Such memories become tinged with sadness, and the thought of how fleeting our lives really are.
It wasn't difficult to make the find. I was more surprised at this area in general, they types of houses and the mood / feel of the place. It was a bit sad to see that there was now just a derelict old house on the property. What the place must have been like many years ago ...?
The container was quickly retrieved and then the clue made sense. I added my mark in the log book before putting back everything neatly as I had found it.
Then back onto the bicycle to make my way home, taking in a few detours to pick up one or two more caches.

This was 16/35 cache need to unlock the final souvenir in the Mystery at the Museum. It was a quick find. Thanks Colvinakastretch for the placement. All Good at the Cache Cheers

This was an easy find on a rather wet day. A track led through the long grass to the container. All inside was dry and clean. Log signed and off to the next one. TFTC.
found with dad "btm" nice little dirt track with lots of farmers friends to dodge if go in straight from road but we walked around the mowed section then cut in and avoided them all
Now that cache container is something to write home about.
Quick find at the right number.
Thanks for the cache.

Dropped the game piece TB back here as it won't fit in any of the micros in the area.
In the area today and headed out to grab a few caches and this was one of them. Parked nearby and soon had the cache in hand.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

Another day OCW marj01. After a very early start from the eastern subs we arrived at Ebenezer at first light to commence the day. During the course of the day we visited 69 trads, 4 multis, 2 puzzle and 2 letterbox caches. With only a handfull of dnfs it was a successfull day, with the majority of the caches being found in a reasonably short time. Thanks to all the COs for hiding and maintaining their caches and providing us with a fun day. Cheers oldmorty.
Found by Mary & David at 1135. Nurse Mary always says "do not cry because he is gone, but smile because he has been". Her Dad died 40 years ago, and David's 44 years ago. They still miss them. Your memories will always stay with you. Our thanks to Colvinakastretch.
One of many caches for today while beeing out almost a full day caching around this area. This was nice one, saw a plastic green grasshopper in the grass. This revealed where the cache was hidden. We left in inside the container.
After completing the “must do’s” on today’s agenda while heading to stay with family over the weekend, still had a bit of time to kill before my cousin got home from work so grabbed a few other quick ones along the way. Co-ords bouncing a bit and clue only seen after the find but a nice hide.

Found on my way to Riverstone. Could be set up as a letter box cache. TNLN, thanks.
My iPhone was sending me all over the place but thanks to the hint kids managed to discover their the container. They were really happy with their geo-skills ant it has been first ever cache for my daughter !!! TFTC
We are based in Richmond for a few days and what a wonderful choice of caches. Today we followed the gps without a very firm plan of what we were doing and this was one of the caches we targetted and found. Thanks to Colvinakastretch for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
I'm back working in the area for a few weeks.
Having caught up on some well overdue online logging, I was eager to tick off some more TS series caches and make amends on a DNF at TS Standard Gauge.
On the way along the train line I noticed this cache just off the road I was travelling.
The cache was a quick easy find. SLTNLN.
This cache is not so much about the find but the location.
So sorry for your loss, what a lovely thing to do in memory of your dad. Seems eerie looking at the overgrown house and the collapsed front gate. I oils imagine this was a lovely place in its day.
Thank you for bringing me here.
Find: 385
8th of 9 finds for today
0 DNFs for today
Cache: in good condition
Log/Logbook: In good condition with lots of room left.

#3307 - Impressively simple. But no letters today. Many thanks to CO **Colvinakastretch** for this local cache requiring establishment and maintenance.
Looking for some "off the main road" caches, when i spotted this one. I lost my dad a few years ago and i loved the idea of this memorial. Parked down the road and walked back listening to all the little birds calling in the nearby trees. Located quickly. Signed log, took the TB and returned as found. A favourite for me. TFTC
I spotted the clue reference and soon found the cache's home. Great little spot! Our 9th of the day. TFTC!
A nice little spot to stop in the shade. AWTYOW had this one before the flies could drive us too mental. I dropped a TB to continue his travels. TFTC
In Sydney for the morning for work and decided to grab a few random caches on the way home. Took the easy option with the hint as I hate loitering in full view of a house. TNLN TFTC
Found it after completing the nearby power trail with delloro. We managed to grab 70 from 71 today!
Decided to get some more on our way back to the car.
I appreciate this cache as I have a similar one dedicated to my late father in the Sutherland Shire area.

Came by this one today. Parked nearby, but stopped where the bush looked to get a bit thick. I made my way the short distance further towards GZ on foot, -!; found the cache fairly quickly without any trouble. Good old number 12! TFTC, nice hide.

Number 18 for the day. Time for this one and maybe 1 more. Interesting area. Thanks for the adventure and I took the TB. TFTC.
Nice quick & easy find! Love how this one is tucked away and the sentimental value. Left a TB - the other one listed was no where to be found TFTC
