I find historical cemeteries fascinating so thank you for bringing me here.
All the muggles seem to have a special event or something on today; there are none around anywhere! Perfect day for high muggle area caches!
Unfortunately for me; I still couldn't find this one! Having come to within 1m of what I supposed to be GZ I searched high and low, I excused myself to various spiders as I cleaned their home for them, I avoided the bitey looking ants.
I found the tennis ball mentioned in the previous log. Could it have been? Please check CO.

I don't seem to be having a very good geo day. But it does seem a little ironic that there were 6 finds in October, as well as some in August and September, but then no finds for 2 months? So maybe I'm not the only one. I did find an empty slit tennis ball...was that it minus the log?
Nice easy find and sign before a stroll around the cemetery.
I can remember finding one in this park some years back.

I was in Sydney for my niece's wedding on Saturday, and stayed around for Parramasala on the Sunday - great fun with Bollywood dancing, Indian street food. movies, art and interesting market stalls. Of course, there's always time for a few caches!
Found this on my way home, an interesting spot and an easy find, TFTC casper73

#460 a nice quick find as spotted straight away as I was doing a walk around grabbed the cache ans signed the log. The replacement took longer as it fell of twice when I was trying to put it back. Eventually it stayed where it came from. Thanks for the cache
After picking up YGAT from a function in Merrylands, she wanted to attempt a few of the local caches. Unfortunately, from a study of their logs, many of the hides in the area appeared to require maintenance so we ignored them. However, we found “jones park”, then drove up to this one. I was starting to doubt its presence too until YGAT did what she does and plucked it out while I was sitting on a wall analysing the logs. She wandered over enquiring smugly “Is this what you’re looking for?” It was nice to find one still properly in place.
It’s a lovely spot and thanks casper73 for the historical context.

After a cursory look, Mr MR slunk off to do some research but I persisted and soon had CIH.
After replacing the cache, we took a pleasant walk around the historic graveyard. We may have been at a cemetery, but in today’s beautiful sunshine we felt very much alive. Thanks for placing a cache here casper73.

Approaching the GZ I thought that I was going to have to find a way into the cemetery but when I checked my GPS I realised that it was going to be easier than that. Quick find, TFTC!
This was our last cache today, and it turned out to be a very straight forward find. Signed th elog and headed back home.
Quick and easy find in the some what obvious spot. Decided to pick up this cache after doing a bit of shopping in the area. TFTC!

The Booo's found this cache.
Heading home from an event at Olympic Park we stopped here to make this nice quick find, in this small ball of nature in the sprawl of Parramatta.
Thanks casper73 for placing this cache

Geobaby was being kind to geomum so we had some time to actually search around. Took a little while, wasn't sure if it was magnetic or just lying insitu, but we found it.
What a beautiful location. I've lived just down the road for 4 years and have driven past countless times, but never knew how big this place was. Now I had a reason, TFTC. Gets me out and about, learning about Parramatta's history!

Another spot in the area I have driven past many many times but never had a reason to stop. Parked in the side street and came down for a fairly quick find, again not quite where I was expecting to search. Had the place all to myself today. Thanks casper73.
Today I had arranged to meet some work colleagues that were also retrenched when I was late last year. So my morning started with a train trip that I used to take and met the travellers who were my travelling buddies back then. Only this time I got off at Parramatta station to do a little caching before meeting other mates later in the morning.
This was the second of 5 finds for the morning. tftc

Have often driven past but never stopped. Looks like a nice old cemetery. Thanks for giving me a reason to stop. TFTC

Searched for this one before to no avail. But today we found it within a minute. Considering I'm very jet legged from my trip to NL, go figure;) First cache since I'm back. Although I did some caches in NL, it's good to be back. Too cold to cache over there:(
Had a walk around the cemetery with Master_Q. Could use some work.

I turned 2 today but as I'm awake all night and I want to sleep all day due to the travels, mum says we will celebrate next week. So I wasn't particularly interested in geocaching today either.....
I saw where the cache was hidden but completely overlooked it! Then my friend opened it and there it was! Glad it wasn't hidden inside the actual cemetery.
After having a quick search around this I soon realised exactly where it has to be.
Less than 1 minute later I had CIH.
Nice park, nice breeze today too..
Thank you for the cache.

Explored the cemetery and then spent a few minutes searching for this cache. It was well hidden. I left 2 small trackables that I brought from the US.

After a DNF at a nearby cache, Rite, Q and I thought we surely will find this one..... Well, it wasn't meant to be. We searched every hole and Rite even removed all the leaves and dirt from under the canon, but nothing. Funny thing, whilst Rite is on her knees looking underneath, this guy walked by and had the biggest grin on his face. He said g'day and kept walking. For sure he knew what we were doing. If you read this, you could have lend us a hand;) hahahahaha.......
Annoyed we didn't find any caches this afternoon, but we sure had fun!!!!

Feeling a bit more adventurous headed out in a new direction to stretch the legs and grab a cache. No muggles made searching easy and the cache was quickly in hand. TFTC
#2766- I tried for this one about two weeks ago, but couldn't reach it. Today, I came armed ready. My tool helped get it, then it was just a case of putting it back- harder than you'd think.
I had often thought there should be a cache in this park- now there is. Thanks.

I vaguely recall looking here a while back. Glad I can find another one here.

Thanks for the cache.
Great hide. Took me about 10 minutes of carefully searching and double checking to actually find. Hints helped.
Very quiet today despite the traffic. Interesting history and an interesting artefact.

#1126 (1 of 3 today)
Had a window between picking up Geoson #2 from the station and taking the Geowife to pick up her car from the mechanic.
So thought a few of Casper73's recent placements would fit the bill.

First cab off the rank was this one.
Arrived at the park and walked to GZ... Hmmm, there is one logical spot, but the iPhone puts me a bit away from that.
Had a cursory glance at the indicated spot before going for the logical spot.
It took a minute or two of peering, but spotted something that looked a little cachelike. Manoeuvred myself into the right spot - AKA the first place I had checked on the logical spot - and had CIH.
Took it to a nearby bench to complete signing duties, and replaced.
Then walked to the published coordinates for Milestones to grab the info there.

I remember finding a cache here some years ago, this time it took a low down act to get it.
Loved this hide, was well hidden by the previous hider and as an eels fan it should be pointing towards Penrith. Great hide
18/10/14. 8:08 AM. Cache #1947. Streak day #118. 5th of 7 finds this morning, all new caches from last week's many publishes. I was up to the casper73 part of the day, coming here after "jones park". I parked in Steele Street, then realised it was where I'd been a couple of hours ago when I checked out the first marker for "Milestones".
Plenty of info could be gleaned from the logs of those before me, so my find was easy. This ended the casper73 part of the day; now I headed over to Edensor Park for "High Voltage". TFTC }:)

Think I was in the right spot, but no luck for me today. Previous logs didn't really help me. I'll be back casper73- my only miss of yours today.
Parked in Steel St and walked to gz. Had trouble finding it but had to get down low. Glad my arms could reach it. Tftc SL On to Burnett St before I pick up geoAndrey from squash.
Met up with snoopy to try this cache to keep the streak going. Ended up phoning the CO because snoopy's arms are too short. SL #1642 on streak day #833 TFTC

Well that was lucky. We had been not too far away when this was published and we realised it was only a short walk to GZ. Some interesting history and a likely spot for GZ. Kaboom we made the find, opened up the log and confirmed **FTF** we completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
