HQ has requested I remove all the geotour references from the cache page as the cache is no longer a formal GeoTour cache. This would seem fair to do however it ultimately creates a different cache so in fairness to those that came a completed the cache while it was a tour cache I am archiving it in its current form.
Found very impressed with the log book. Park busy with families having a fun time.

Perfect timing to find this one as we’re staying at the reserve tonight. A very fun hide, thanks.
Geodad found where to look but Geogirl found how to get in to get the container to get the treasure. Very good set up to hide a treasure. We left the travel bunny travel bug.
A nice cheeky hide in plain sight took a bit to work out how to open. Thumbs up. TFTC
After a lil search while geokids used the playground, and avoiding muggles as well I soon had cache in hand. A lot of effort went into the hide and therefore it’s a fave for us. TFTC
Cool cache! On our way back from Yea. We decided to find a few caches. We looked in the obvious spot for a while and, after a bit, the cache was retrieved. TFTC
Gevonden!
Back on the road again for another international trip. This time to Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan and South Korea.
Like our previous trips we focussed on old caches, high favorites, rare cache types and pretty locations.
Most of the trip was together with Plaguerider, Zanna and FLtravelers, but some of it I did solo.
Logs were signed as DATT (Do All The Things) and if there were answers, we typically sent them as a group.
Thanks for maintaining the caches for us.

**Trip log:**
Found during Team DATT's (Do All The Things) annual international caching trip consisting of FLtravelers, PlagueRider, waterfan5 and myself. Africa kicked it all off back in 2016, with a follow up European tour last year. I tried to pitch Asia but the pull of the Great Ocean Road and completing our 6th continent was too strong, and we landed on week long road trips through both Australia and New Zealand. Before meeting the team in Sydney though, I was able to schedule some layovers in Asia (Beijing, Bangkok and Singapore), so in the end of I got a bit of everything. =)
**Australia Day 3 - Canberra -> Melbourne:**
After exploring Canberra by foot last night then car this morning, it was time to hit the road. It was one of our longest days of the trip since we were detouring to Mount Buller for the webcam there. We stopped quite often for new counties and interesting caches and did not arrive in Melbourne until late into the evening.
**Cache Log:**
Nice stop on our way to Melbourne.

We’re on our annual international geocaching trip as Team DATT (Do All The Things) comprised of FLtravelers, PlagueRider, waterfan5, and zanna. This year we chose to explore Australia and New Zealand. Zanna and I decided to do a two-day stopover in Beijing, a three-day stopover in Bangkok, and a 12-hour layover in Singapore on our way to meet up with the rest of the team in Sydney.
Once we got the Team back together, we made a “bee-line” to Lane Cove and various caches around Sydney. Then we headed down the coast on A1. After visiting Wasp Head, we headed up through Canberra and down M31 to Melbourne, after a webcam stop on Mount Buller.
We had a great time in Melbourne, which is my favorite city in Australia so far, then onto the Great Ocean Road, the highlight of Australia for this trip. After a couple days (not nearly enough) we left the ocean road and headed up A6 towards Victor Harbor (webcam) and Adelaide (webcams) for our flight to Auckland. Seems we found every webcam in Australia.
We targeted old caches, highly favorited caches, earthcaches, virtuals, and of course webcam caches, and anything else that got our interest along the way. Logs were signed DATT. Answers, where required, were sent by one of the team members. Thanks for adding to the enjoyment of our trip with this cache. Great hide.

Off on another road trip adventure. 5 days through NSW this time. Goal is Bathurst and wherever else I find myself. I love exploring this country. I have seen more of OZ than my home NZ.
5th stop was fun. A nice creative find here. I got low and found what I was looking for.
Gets a fave point.
Cache in good condition.

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work.

Todays weather was much cooler just perfect for caching.

Today we rode the Great Victorian Rail Trail from Mansfield to Alexandra which provided the opportunity to seek out 14 geocaches of which I found 11, not being willing to spend more than a few minutes in each search. This cache was a straightforward find, being more or less on the coordinates. Second time lucky! Thank you Lake Eildon Geo Tour for installing and maintaining this cache.
Nice big fat cache found in a quiet spot whilst taking a break.

Had to stop in Yark for cherries so why not a cache? Can see I will have to start the Eildon Geotour! TFTC
A final cache for our Alexandra Adventure and Kato Potato and I disguised our finding attempt well given there were muggles nearby. A quick grab, sign, TB grab and return was conducted before we moved on. TFTC Lake Eildon Geo Tour

On the run home from the Mega and needed a cache to add to our tally. Detoured of the main road and made the quick find at this great little picnic area. TFTC SL Cheers $ Now
Heading home after the fabulous Mega and needing just 4 more to meet the goal I had set, so stopped to add this one and I wasn’t disappointed. Big container with heaps of room for swaps and well hidden. Thanks for a great cache. TFTC
It was a last minute decision to attend the Alexandra Event so after work on Friday Rapidlywild and I made our way to Alexandra entertained by the lightening along the way.
We had a fun filled weekend collecting many smileys and having some laughs and meeting up with fellow cachers another Mega ticked off.
Time to make the journey home and pick up some smileys along the way.
No problems at this one signed, replaced and on our way to the next.

Time for our wonderful Alexandra Mega Adventure to come to an end.. but not without us grabbing a few more caches as we meander our way home!!
Such a wonderful experience with more than 105 finds, and some milestone challenges achieved.
Glad to have grabbed this cache today. Would love to complete these whole series one day.
TFTC Hunting today with Minniek, darkonas delights, b0tmun, cryp1, Death_Killer, my_name_jeff and lovetherabbitohs (all logged as Team Goulburn or by individual name).

hevwalker & I passed through here on the way to Bonnie Doon,
we decided to wait on the return trip as the park was occupied.
The return trip was more successful with no muggles in sight.
I certainly didn't expect to find a cache there,

Time to head home after attending the Alexandra Mega 2017 but caching on the way out of town was much more important. As one of my geo-kids told me.....it took us over 2hrs to go 15kms! Ended up with 105 for the weekend which got me to double my cache finds from last year....so happy with that result.
Logs signed as either minniek or part of Team Goulburn.
When we stopped here there was a muggle so we used the bathrooms in the hope she would leave. Leave she did but another car had pulled up at the end of the park. Turned out to be another cacher! Quick find once this was ascertained and a more thorough such could be conducted.

Found whilst on my way home to Adelaide (via Beechworth) after enjoying time in Alexandra for the 2017 Victorian Mega.
I found that my GPS was struggling to get a lock here, so I was happy to read the hint and quickly locate the surprisingly big cache, well done!

We picked up some cherries at Koala Cherries on our way through Yarck...yummo!!!
Returned on our way back to Alexandra later that evening & so one in sight...

A fairly late decision resulted in myself and 1 party of the FurfacesLL clan headding south towards Alexandra Event. After working during the day Friday, the drive down Friday night felt never ending. We had a great 3 days stomping around Alexandra and surrounds putting our scribble in many caches.
Day to head on home, collecting a few smilies of course
No issues at this one, signed and replaced. Time to have some brekkie while in Yarck.

Our second day caching as the GOTHs, Geocachers of the Hills, made up by the following teams, Bushfire, Aussie M & M, mogni, Team Astro, brisal5 and 6hinemoa2. Our aim was to try to clear out caches in various spots, traditionals, Multis, a wherigo and puzzles that had been solved along the windy way. Some interesting spots were found, got close to the river, and some amazing views. Thanks for the hides and the puzzles.
We were on our way home to the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney, from the Mega Event in Victoria, but decided we had to get at least one cache in Yarck. 'Yarck' is the sound I make to annoy Toriaz, like a small creature cowering and frightened, when she wants my attention. Usually, though, she just smiles, and the name of this town made us smile, too.
And here's to people who put out descent-sized caches in places others would use a micro for. This sort of thing is a clever hide, in my opinion. Anyone can make a nano difficult to find. Nothing clever about that.
Thanks

Cruising around with Mummy Short Legs following our participation in the Alexandra MEGA event show and shine and collecting the local caches (along with everyone else!). On our way back to our holiday home in Merrijig where we had left the rest of our families having a lazy day by the river, we stopped off to this one, attracted by the favourite points. Although there were some families making use of the facilities nearby we were able to subtly cover each other in making the find and signing the log. It was a lovely hot afternoon for a relax and a long drink after all! TFTC Lake Eildon Geotour

MEGA ROAD TRIP - Alexandra Mega 2017 that is. : Day 4: GOTHS go here, there almost everywhere. [8)]
GENERIC LOGS: With Literally Hundreds of caches found during our stay anything specific to this cache will be found near the start HERE: [8] [8] [8] Nothing here means it was found quickly, the cache had no issues and we moved on!
We had all come together for the Alexandra event at a lovely farmstay just outside the township. Mrs. Aussie M&M, Astro and I from Adelaide, mogni from Mt. Gambier, Bushfire from Geelong and 6hinemoa2 from Bachus Marsh. We would be filling up log books just putting our names in them so we searched for an anagram from our caching name initials. The best we could find was BATHMATs. [B)] Good grief. So we settled on GOTHS = Geocachers Of The HillS as we all lived on a hill of one type or another. [:o)] We didn't just 'turn up' and cache. Many months of planning and puzzle solving went on before we made our way over and so we had some target caches and series to have a go at. Today was the Fish GeoArt series - and anything else that was nearby in our travels. Once again the planning by the mega committee and to local cachers made our stay fantastic. [^][^]
Thanks Lake Eildon GeoTour for this cache.

We have been slowly making our way from Queensland down to Victoria to attend the Alexandra Mega Event and finding a few caches along the way. After spending a few days in Dinner Plains, it was time to make our way to Alexandra and set up camp in preparation for the big event. Of course, for safety reasons we needed to stop periodically to find a few caches along the way
We had no difficulty in locating the cache and with our name added to the logbook, we continued on our way [^]
Thank you Clever Monkey for having placed the cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

On a 6 day tour of Victoria with Barnzy12. Taking the red eye over from Perth we managed to visit some great places. The main reason for the travel was the Mega event in Alexandra and the opportunity to find 12 cache types in a day.
We originally travelled to Phillip bay, then up through the country side to Alexandra. Spent a few nights staying high in the snowfields and then moved over to Mt Disappointment. We then ended up back where we started returning the hire car at the airport to fly home.
Some quality caches were found all over the state, great to get a real range of cache sizes with some very large caches compared to what’s available in WA and the range of D/T options so close to each other was a bonus.
Thanks to all the Cache owners for you placements and creativity put into hiding and have awarded a few fav points based on this or the location it bought us too.

In Melbourne with Cravo10 to attend the Mega in Alexandra.
We took the red eye from Perth, leaving at 1am Thursday morning, and departed Melbourne early Tuesday morning, so it was a short five day trip.
We managed to snag a couple of nice stats for the trip. First mega event, 12 cache types in a day, 10 lab caches, 50th large cache find, and most importantly my 10,000th find at Mount Disappointment.
We spent the first day on a caching run from
Melbourne to Phillip Island where we had booked into the local caravan park for the evening. We cached all day chasing down a number of the whereigo and puzzle caches from the CF series, before ending the day caching the extremities of Phillip Island, where we had both never been, an amazing part of this country.
Next morning we cached our way to Alexandra which was the main reason for our trip to Melbourne as we had both never managed to attend a mega, which were hoping to rectify in WA next year! Attended the pre event and managed to get a couple of group FTFs by torchlight which was a real highlight.
Saturday we cached in and around Alexandra all day, chasing numbers, the highlight of the day would have to be the birdbox hides around Alexandra and the multi in Bonnie Doon from that famous TV show, a real nice touch!
Sunday was an epic caching day, chasing down 12 types in a day, which required a couple of huge drives to claim some of the rarer icons around. A huge caching stat which is a very rare feat in the Southern Hemisphere. We finished the day travelling to Mount disappointment where we found Melbourne's 1st cache and then started making a dent in the powertrail, finishing by torchlight.
Our last full days caching was spent at Mount Disappointment to chase some big numbers and with a few caches around the burbs for good measure.
Special thanks to all the wonderful COs around Melbourne for their brilliant caches, and to the mega committee for organising a ripper event, hope to be back next year!

Turn up at the some time as another cacher, so we searched together.
Found, sign and return before the next cacher turn up.
So I watch the next cacher, search for the cache.
With a mega around the corner, It's hard to not meet caches at the better caches.

Found with gwd.aussie while in the area to attend the Mega Event. It was the number of favorites that made this a must do and it did not disappoint. Arrived at GZ meeting up with fellow cachers - extra sets of eyes don't go astray.

This is our fourth trip to the northern island this year. The first three were primarily for family events but with some opportunities to do some caching along the way. The fourth trip is different as caching is our focus. After getting off The Spirit of Tasmania we are heading north to cache at Wangaratta and then Yass before heading into the ACT and Queanbeyan for a week. After that we will travel to Jindabyne for a few days with summiting Mount Kosciuszko being our main target for this part of our trip. Then we will visit Cooma and Tumut before heading back down the track through Wangaratta and Mansfield as we make our way to Alexandra for the MEGA. After the weekend we will continue to make our way south and back onto the Spirit of Tasmania for the “drive” across Bass Strait. We are really looking forward to three weeks of intense caching in great areas and, hopefully, catching up with some geocachers in each of the areas we will visit.
After staying in Mansfield overnight, we headed towards Alexandra this morning. There were a number of caches along the rail trail which were within a short distance from Mansfield. Then there were more at regular intervals along the way to Alexandra. The weather in the morning was quite reasonable but thunderstorms arrived in the afternoon and there was some rain. However it did not deter us from caching. As we got closer to Alexandra we started to meet cachers from other places as we all made the MEGA at Alexandra our destination for the weekend.
After returning to the highway from our detour along King George Road, we stopped to look for this cache. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The design and construction of the hide was outstanding - the attention to detail was impressive. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Lake Eildon GeoTours for the outstanding cache - it earns a favourite point from us..
***** We are currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. On 1 September 2017 our average was 86 which seems close to the 100 target. However given that we have found so many GC caches, we have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get our average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that we can strive to attain this challenge. After 408 caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 97.0. We are now entertaining the possibility that we might be able to achieve our gaol before this trip ends. Progress has been better than anticipated.*****

Day 2 of our trip to Alexandra for the Mega. NationalSteel and I travelled via Beechworth to tackle some more of the HSS series. Once they were done, we headed straight to Alexandra collecting stray caches on the way.
Brilliant! This is our first L.E.G series cache. If the rest are as good as this, we are in for a treat! Definite Favourite Point from me.
The cache was in good condition. We signed the log (sometimes we sign micro logs with G&T or GT) and replaced the container as found
Thanks Lake Eildon GeoTour for the cache.

This was a great cache, really well constructed. My favourite of the day so far and thus deserving of an FP. TFTC!
A brilliant hide deserving ANOTHER favourite tick. Getting the cache back was interesting . TFTC Lake Eildon GeoTour.

What a great hide for our 1,000 find. Thank you so much for going to the trouble to make this a challenge to extract the cache. I could see it but how do I get it. Well done a favourite from us TFTC
As usual there is always someone there at these places not a good look these days when a bloke wandering around lucky my other half was with me today. Thanks FTC. Another fav added
Found on a long day of caching that took me from Murrindindi to Yea, Yarck, Alexandra and Acheron. My first ever find of a GeoTour cache! This one is really well hidden in it's environment.

Out and about in the area for a few days of laughter and caching fun.
Such a great part of the state, really need to get up here more often.
Another perfect container for environment!
Favorite point for sure.

I loved this cache! Clever and required stealth. It was muggle free when we got there, half way through our excavation of the cache several cars of muggles arrived... awkward. I think we got it back undetected! TFTC.
That was unexpectedly good. I hadn't actually done any of the geo tour yet and this was an amazing surprise and a great little stop. The cache is well done and now I think I need to see more of this tour. By the way team llama found the first cache for the trip. Thanks for the amazing effort
Found by The Empire + Snap Happy
On my way to Mansfield for a couple of days, met Snap Happy at Alexandra for lunch - after some afternoon caching and a well earned coffee or two, we started to make our way to the final destination. The last cache for the day as it was stating to get dark, another L.E.G. cache off the list. Thanks for the cache Lake Eildon GeoTour.

*Out and about grabbing a cache or three with wozzle68*...
**346** *consecutive days with finds*
Made the find whilst House Sitting in Mansfield. An fine but cool day as we to Marysville for a photo shoot at Steavenson Falls. We managed a nice straight forward find here. What a beautiful part of Australia. We as Australians really are so fortunate.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment Lake Eildon GeoTour. Appreciate your effort. A fave point awarded for the hide here.

This is the first cache in the tour that I have attempted. The standard is obviously high and I loved the engineering of this hide.
