I love how obvious the tree was being well spaced apart, pity its such an unused park
2 circles around tree before i spotted what i came for. Maybe my height was a disadvantage. The lack of height, that is. Took me longer to extract log from being placed in the container rather than the lid - a valuable trick i was taught sometime in my geocaching journey.
Beautiful little place to come for an afternoon stroll. Enjoyed much of the wildlife around here too. A popular spot for muggles on a gorgeous afternoon too, so stealth was a little tricky. So many trees could fit this description, but coords spot on here.Found this little guy not too far away.TFTC in a beautiful location
Having dropped the partner at the airport at stupid o’clock I had a couple of hours to cache before work…
Everyone says this is a quick easy find… I felt pretty useless on my 4th circuit of the tree…
Thanks wombles and co

There is a difference between hanging and hanging around. I should learn, as I started to look in a different area. Luckily Shazzar66 was here and she found the cache in mere seconds. Once again, I was just a spectator. 3-nil to Shazzar66 so far this afternoon. TFTC
Quick find with Duppers. TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF

Nice park. This cache gave me a good reason to finally check it out and I’m happy I did.
Thanks for placing one here.

Way to easy so left it in the same spot but hid it a but harder - as we found it within 2 seconds
wombles and co I found your cache The Magic Faraway Tree on 31/8/2022, 3:42 pm. This is my find 4059 and find # 20 today. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
We had a nice morning in this area finding some caches. We had looked for this one just after the floods and came away with a DNF and saw that it had now been replaced by the CO. It was a quick find here today we signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Thanks wombles and co.
No luck for us today. Not sure if the floods took it away or if we were not looking in the right places.
We squelched through the mud to GZ and were surprised at how high the flood debris was on the tree. Sadly we could not find a cache here. We will put this one on our watch list.
Alycem89 and I decided to venture out to grab ourselves a couple of caches in the area. She’s not overly confident with it yet so I’m showing her the ropes still.
We wandered down the path and noticed the tree, although the surrounding area was a little damp due to the recent rains. After avoiding the puddles we arrived at the tree and commenced our search. I found what seemed to be the tether for the cache, but nothing was attached to it, we were going to call it quits but we decided to have another quick look at that’s when I noticed the cache a little higher up. We quickly signed the log, replaced the cache as found and made our way to the next cache further on.
Thanks for bringing us here today.

As a local and a regular to walking around centenary lakes I was excited when Nayfee suggested we go for a walk to find some caches in the area.
Im still leaning the ins and outs of the caching world so Nayfee guided me to the beautiful tree even with the surrounding area being wet from the recent rains.
After a look around Nayfee finally found it. We signed the logs and we’re on our way. Thanks for bringing us to the area once again

Had to visit my podiatrist this morning, and after the treatment felt like a good wander in a park was needed, this place gave me two reasons to have my walk, one being the hide here, which was seen just hanging around, signed my name and replaced as found, Thanks wombles and co, all is in good condition
TFTC. Oh my goodness spent the morning with friends TreasureTrakas helping me locate some of my DNF's today. Happy to have their help with this one.

I'm on holiday from work this week, so took the kids to the shops to get school shoes, socks, etc, etc. I haven't picked up a cache for a week or two, so we made our way up the road to this cache as it was close by.
We may have circled GZ once, twice or three times before spotting the container
Thanks!!

This was a fun one in a new game lace we hadn’t found before... nice stroll in the park as we went round and found a few...
We needed a walk after Christmas lunch. While out enjoying the tranquility that this parkland area offered we found this cache.
Thanks for this hide wombles and co.
Thanks for this hide wombles and co.
Found. Couldn't log as accidently left pen at another cache. Good hide and TFTC
Found this one with Mrs Wingaap. To be honest she spotted it first. Cache found in good condition. Thanks
When we read the hint I thought it would be very very small so I was looking at the smallest trees while my sister looked at bigger trees and she ended up finding it we loved the sight and its beautiful here thank you
I decided to take a bike ride around here and collect a few smileys. Wow what a lovely tree. Thankyou for taking me here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy.
I just remember that I signed this one a few months ago. I was with grannysmith1947 a previous finder.
Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. TFTC *541* streak. *3245* Finds

I’m not sure why this one disappears so often. I moved it to the opposite side of the tree, not sure if that will help but will see how it goes

This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 28 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

A day out with Grand Poobah finding a few caches in the area.
Unfortunately, we did not find this one.

Couldn't find this one, despite a really good look around. Yep, found the hook like others have noted, but nothing on it or nearby.
What a beautiful area -we have lived in the area for a long time and never knew this existed. What a great way to discover new places.
Gym gear for those who like to use it
Dog off leash park too. Good place for kids to see some horses
TFTC wombles and co. Another easy find I think number 63 for us now ( we’re ticking them off today )

Chasing after a few caches in the local area today, trying to convert a few to smilies as I go.
This was cache 1 today.
Talked to the owner of the horses on the left as you come in to this one. Four horses that I could see. Will bring the youngest daughter back with a carrot to feed them (allowed to) at some stage.
Walked in to GZ, whoops, picked the wrong tree. machine told me a was still not there.
Okay, back to right tree, and reasonably quick find.
Far enough off the path that muggles don't bother you. All signed and good.
thanks for cache.

Found with TheGeoSnake while with a scout group paddling on the river. Teaching Cub Scouts the joys of geocaching. TFTC
I loved these books when I was a little girl and I've shared these stories with my own daughter who is now a teenager. Great memories TFTC wombles and co

Well it was definitely high time I converted the icons on my map for the Enchanted Wood series to smilies, especially as the books themselves had given me so many smiles over the years. Having done one of them, I next decided to head here.
Parking the car next to another one - belonging to a lady with her young toddler on a little trike - I made a beeline. As I glanced over the field I knew exactly which tree held the magic! The tree had perfect form, and I'm sure the other trees were whispering "wisha wisha wisha" too. Around I went, under the shade and soon found the magic I was looking for.
Thanks for the cache wombles and co. These books held so much magic, which is what has always kept generations of children spellbound by them. And here's some more magic, another FP.

What another hot day! We were just resting listening to Triple J's Hottest 100 announcement and I promised Mr johnwillem we'd be back before the top 20. A lovely shady walk from Norfolk Esplanade and this was spotted easily , signed log and covered cache. TFTC
I am clearly too short to spy this cache the first circuit of the tree - M being taller saw it almost straight away even though I HAD looked there.
The Faraway Tree books were read many times in my childhood. The Saucepan Man was my favourite character.
This was a nice easy find in a completely deserted park. Well there were some horses watching, but they promised to keep my secret.

A three and half hour walk round Caboolture on a hot Sunday resulting 8 finds, 2 too-many-muggles-to-look, one DNF and a pair of very tired geo-hounds.
Thanks for all the caches we found or were muggled away from RhoBoCacher, wombles and co and Johnwillem and one we had to report as a DNF, Wesso Family. They all made for a good day out.
Certainly a magic tree

At 2:00pm in the afternoon it was getting steamy and the sun had some bite. It seemed like it was the first time the humidity was this high in a long time and it meant cracking a sweat on a short walk. I wish I was one of those people that look sexy when they sweat but I’m like the 99.9% of us that don’t.
The ground was still a bit soggy after the rain and when the grass is long enough to hide puddles you know your life is on the line. It was so hot that I didn’t want to walk any further than required and so opted for the straight route. I didn’t find any water but did find some soft soil but thankfully I had my ballet shoes on and I was on point.
A quick sign of the log and I knew my short was in for some punishment on the stroll back. I still had the energy to try out the exercise equipment in the park. tftc

Again another great spot not too far from home thanks for the cache and showing us this area
