Logs
A trip over the dittecch and I'm in the land of the big white cloud. Yep, Made it to Christchurch and onto Dunedin for a week of caching.DAY Three, (24/10) yep, its the same crew of Bluewattle, Snickersallan, Wollaston and myself touring around town. Today we are doing a series of challenge caches, some solved puzzle caches and a few multis. It's a long drive to Diamond Harbour and Deep Gully Bay before heading over to West Melton and surrounds to get some of the eclipse series. Had a few others on the list as we passed by collecting some of Christchurchs cool caches. There are a few set target caches along the way.The are some amazing areas of Christchurch and I have enjoyed driving around and seeing the fantastic sights, thank you for showing us around. All logs were signed and all caches replaced as found. Thanks for the placements.
Touring around with a lovely group of Aussie geo friends for a few days in Christchurch, picking up some solved puzzles, and selected others on our to-do list. All finds today were in great condition and a credit to the CO's who place and maintain them for the benefit of the geocaching community.Enjoyed this find and a favourite point from me.
Outnabout with Chamad, Snickersallan & Bluewattle on my first ever trip across the ditch. After a week of caching around Brisbane and at events last month with other Geo friends, I couldnt pass up the opportunity to hop on board for a NZ Mega adventure. Another great day for caching. TFTC TwoSharpe
Thanks for placing and maintain for our enjoyment Found with Snickersallan, Wollaston and chamadVisiting Christchurch for a few days before heading down to attend Geotora Mega
Stopped off to sign this one with ivss_xx after a day in the hills. I came by about a month ago but mistook the cache for something else. Signed, all good to go here.
28/11/2023 we found it pretty easily as it says. Really good clue and helps a lot. First cache ever too!!
Gussing from the hint I thought it might be close to the green power box outside. Unfortunately there I searched and there was no kind of cache hopefully will find when it is day time as it’s currently dark
This our first geocacheWe found it after some looking. We we put it in a new plastic bag we also added some stickers. And then we tied it to the blue rope.
Found beside the big thing and used ToTT to retrieve the container, which is missing a lid, no longer attached to anything and had a ripped bag.
The "logs" are a selection of dried out, hardened pieces of cardboard and paper which I have placed in a new plastic bag which should at least keep them dry for now. I signed one of them that had the most space.
C.O might need to decide whether to fix/replace this cache or disable it...
Have tried to replace at GL in a manner that will be retrievable for future finders in the meantime, perhaps with a little help e.g ToTT, random stick etc.
Without the on the go maintenance it would be a quick park n' grab

We wanted to fill a blank dot day as told that is our next challenge. It is a very miserable day so came to a cache not far from home. Happy street is very quiet and parked car could hide us. Mr C spotted the cache. Signed log and put back as found all good. Congrats on new bike to Victoriousone. Thanks for this cache TwoSharpe.
This has been the closest unfound trad to our house for years. When we looked for it long ago it had just been DNFed, and like those before us we could clearly see signs of something magnetic having been attached but no longer there... But it's not magnetic. We hate being so exposed at this spot, so did not return even though it's so close to home. Today was a dot day which we wanted to fill, and after a DNF elsewhere we dropped by here. We quickly found something to which the cache was attached, which was not there a few years ago we suspect. Quickly signed, but on returning the cache, it slipped out of its attachement and rolled out of reach. We got hold of a stick, poked around a while and eventually managed to grab the cache and tie it back in. Phew! Glad to finally get that green spot off the sea of golden smilies on the geocaching map. TFTC!
I was nearby so thought I might as well grab this one! Quickly located once the nearby cars had cleared out of my line of sight. Thanks for the placement TwoSharpe and congrats on the FTF Victoriousone.
TFTC TwoSharpe, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 3 find(s) of 6 today, making this find #2753

Quick find. Put some dry paper for a log in the plastic bag as the wee notebook was sodden. Tftc
Sorry did not have extra paper with me today, needs some only cover of booklet left!
I accidentally logged this cache as a DNF instead of another cache nearby but I found it and TFTC
Quick easy find in the obvious spot on my way past to a meeting which was timed to align with my lunch hour so I could grab some nearby caches. Thanks for the effort that goes into placing and maintaining a cache.
A nice longish walk on a sunny Friday afternoon. I eventually ended up here, and a quick find! TFTC!!
#17174. Needed a couple of finds today to get up to 26 for May 25. Troodles needed only one find, so I thought we'd start with this one (which she had already found). Bit awkward to reach down (back has been playing up a bit) but the transfer proved to be a good thing to put weight to stand up again. TFTC.
After our DNF at another FTF challenge, it was good to find this one, though I need SW to reach in to grab it as my hand wouldn't fit . Now just one more find needed before we head to this afternoon's nearby event. TFTC.
Like the last person, I think I found where it has been (found some magnets!), but no cache
Could just be a bit rusty (!). Some evidence of where it may have been, but no cache.
For some reason this cache eluded me for a while, then I spotted it out of the corner of my eye. Tftc!

Downhill's flooding so I had to go uphill, even if a little bit to get a cache.
This one was found instantly, there's also a smiling stone next to it, he said to me "I'm a rock. I role."
Anyway, cache was surprisingly not even too wet. I dried it out a bit in the car and put it back crispy as

An easy find but dropped the cache when replacing and it was a real mission trying to get it back! To top it off a stream of visitors suddenly arrived to attend a birthday party next door! Managed to get cache back unnoticed ... eventually. Took the Scottish TB, tftc!
