Given what appears to be ongoing issues with this placement since Mar/08/2021, perhaps it's time for the CO to visit and check the situation?
**Cache has been Disabled pending CO investigation.**
Whilst it is recognized that as a result of the current COVID19 situation, it might not be possible for a Cache Owner to just pop out and check on a cache, we still need to know that you are on top of the issue.
CO's of caches disabled/requiring maintenance during the current COVID19 crisis will be given some extra time to react. Caches where the cache owner does not currently feel it is safe to maintain will not be archived in the normal time frame, as long as there is some indication from the CO. **Don't let a lack of communication kill this cache.**
#What should you do:-#
- Should you feel it safe for you to maintain and address this cache now, AND your regional Health and Governmental authorities allow it, please feel free to do so.
- **Alternatively, what you need to do is place a Write Note log indicating a date when you you expect you might be able to attend to the issue/s.
The Write Note log should be placed by 26th September.**
#Please Note#
When a Reviewer next looks in on the cache, if there is no acknowledgment from the CO as requested above, the Reviewer will assume the cache has been abandoned and process accordingly.

This geocacher reported that the container is damaged. The mechanism to retrieve the log was not functional and we had to use some nearby natural elements to assist and returning the cache to its original position requires a bit of effort. The retrieval mechanism requires repairs.
On a road trip to Western Victoria, picking up random caches as we check out the area. This was day 7 of the 16 day trip. We spent the morning in and around Warrnambool including checking out the three caches here at Deakin University with the high number of favourites before heading back to the camping ground after lunch as the rain set in. This was the first of the three caches. We actually parked in the information bay and quickly walked to GZ. Initially the GPS had us going around in circles, probably due to the tree cover but Mr Pooky eventually spotted the well constructed cache however the mechanism to retrieve the log was not functional and we had to use some nearby natural elements to assist. Once the log was signed we returned the cache to its original position with a bit of effort. Maintenance request logged as the retrieval mechanism requires some repairs. TFTC. TNLN.
Looks like it needs a bit of maintenance - the Ziploc bag is broken, the log is nearly full and the retrieval method is getting on a bit, but it was still a great cache!

Took a little while to find this one, the GPS placing me at one location but, with finding nothing, I read a few old logs, realised what I should be looking for, then backtracked a bit. It was then that I realised I had walked straight past it without noticing the tool.
And, to be honest, if you can't work out how to access this one, even with it sticking slightly (but it still works) you seriously can't claim the smiley for the find; You're just not trying hard enough.
Thx again to JamoGeoKids1743 for all the caches around the Uni, it took us 2 visits but finally got them all! Some very clever constructions here.

A 5 day caching run, over the 2020/2021 New year period saw me leave on the Thursday the 31st of December and travel to the Brisbane Ranges, down to Warrnambool, Port Fairy, Portland, the up to Heywood, Dunkfield and Horsham, camping along the way. On the Saturday I met up with my caching partner, ilukaperi at the home of choocknchunk, where we spread the coronavirus around as much as we could. Enjoyed some 4wding around the Mt Cole area before making our way back home on the Monday.
So I spent New Year’s Eve by myself on the shores of Lake Elingamite, sipping on a glass (or plastic cup) of red wine and watching the sunset on 2020. Good riddance I say! I got up early and cached my way from there, through Warrnambool, Port Fairy and Portland before finding my camp for the night at Annya Camp. A lot of variety of cache types and some good ground covered too.
I gave this little series a crack and boy am I glad I did. Some very creative hides in here. This one especially. Have seen a few like this now, but this is a particularly good example of how to implement it. Well done!

On our way into Warrnambool we spotted a number of caches at the UNI and seeing at it was Sunday with no one around it was a good time to do them. So soon spotted the sneaky hide and proceeded to log this cache. A fav point for doing something different from the norm.
Thanks for placing this cache JamoGeoKids1743

Staying in Warrnambool for a long weekend from Melbourne. This was the first find in the early morning. Nicely done! In good condition.
Found this one a while ago and forgot to log it! This was an amazing experience TFTC!
heading back into warrnambool, I figured I may as well grab the last 4 here at Deakin, so in I went and found them. Last time I was here someone was mowing the field so I didnt go hunting, today a quick find. Hook line and sinker
In town for just one night and was hoping to put some smiles on the map.
After a short walk I found the fun designed cache.
Cheers for the cache.
