Been coming to this spot for my late night smoko for a couple months now and just got on the geocache bandwagon to realise theres been one here the whole time! Park and grab, easy find Mihiz!
Took a different way home this evening, and this seemed like a perfect target to aim for. Wasnt sure of which direction to approach from, but took a guess and it was right. Found the cache in the first place looked, neat little hide. Thanks boxhill 1109
Earlier this week I just could not work out how to approach GZ, today there was no such problem. I approached indicated site, shifted a recent tree-fallen branch and soon had the cache in hand and signed. All good and replaced this San Fran-esque cache as found. Cheers boxhill.A day trip down to Lower Hutt was planned for today, despite me being in the area for work a couple of days ago. Our daughter has bought a first home with her partner but decided to bring some boxes etc down for her next weekend so just headed to the shops today. I dropped mrs c and other daughter off at Queensgate and had a couple of hours to make some cache finds and had a good experience, mostly. After that we had lunch in Petone then off to Lambton Quay shops (one find for me there) Thanks to tyhe local COs for their caches.
From the satellite view, I wondered which was the right way to approach GZ. Once I arrived, there was no question that the other way was not possible. TFTC.
Came back to this one a bunch and never been able to hit on it, but finally a chance encounter! Very cool place to put a cache. TFTC.
Thought I would pop up here on the way to the event in Petone tonight. Really underestimated traffic tho. However it still turned out to be faster than the esplanade, according to Google. Nice hide here, TFTC boxhill.
Visiting from the US near geocaching HQ. We are staying in Lower Hutt for a few days. Yesterday we went and found GC46.Woke up early today and got in his caching before the wife was ready to face the world. Thanks for the hides.
Was a bit apprehensive about this one after reading past logs! Re read the hint and went to a possible location and within a couple of minutes of fossicking found the cache! Clever little placement nice idea. Didnt have a pen so see pic of log for reference tftc!
Found it, pen would not write! Good thing I keep a spare in the car, return, sign, replace. Cheers

Couldn’t find it. Thought it might have been attached to the light/solar pole. Has it been removed?
Nope. Post covid brain fog is absolutely kicking me in the teeth today. I'm sure it's there, just no luck for me.
Have looked here before to no avail. A super quick find today. Possibly too easy.
Felt far too easy for a Boxhill cache. But nice to get a find after seeming to have lost our MOJO recently. Tftc
An evening shopping trip took me to Petone gave me the opportunity to knock off a previous DNF.
A quick and easy find of the new replacement cache, but I couldn't find the replaced original container. Searching after dark without the use of torches simply to avoid attracting attention from a nearby dog walker didn't help though.
Happy to turn the frown the right way around

No it probably just a bit to well camouflaged for someone with only 4 finds. Keep looking.
My son was going for a walk when he found it and took it home. Hence the DNFs We have put it back now. So all good.
After a heads up at the Event last weekend that the cache here may be missing I checked things out today. A new container is now in place.
This wasn't today, but a few weeks ago. If I can remember the date then I'll edit my log.
But I was here, with a previous finder in tow, and if it's still supposed to be where the Hint suggests then it has gone.

Did a bit of scrambling here to no avail, then found it in a very easy site, good hide for sure, tftc.
A fun hide, was in the area for a couple of lab caches, a beautiful day in Petone today, cheers
A nice find with LollieQueen and Demaoniac. So the log book has been signed and the cache is nicely back in its spot all ready for the next geo-hunter. Thanks heaps for taking the time to set up this geocache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. TFTC
Well placed. There was 3 to hold in place. 2 is missing you might think of adding the 2 that's missing.
It will be stronger in place.

Tomorrow I am moving house. I'll still be local - still working at the same place, still cycling to work. Anyway, I have a truck in the driveway and I am finishing packing (all apart from the bedding, will do that tomorrow. So today is one of those days I do not want to go geocaching. Luckily I have a range of close geocaches especially reserver, like this one. So a quick blast around the block on the bike. Ookay, not quite true, I was going to grab another cache today, but that had gone missing. But then, that's why I have backups!
Love the camo here, the paint job blends in perfectly.

2nd time looking for it. Also lost our cat called Max. He’s black and white and has leprosy and needs daily meds. If you can catch him please take him to 120 Richmond street Petone
The hint had me a bit confused- until I found GZ. Brilliant as always Boxhill! TFTC
After checkng out of my motel, I had some spare time before I had to head to the ferry for the trip to Picton. I managed to find a few caches along the way. That wasn't quite what I was expecting at GZ. The cache was quite exposed. I wonder if some vegetation has been trimmed away here? Anyway, the cache was safe and sound so I replaced it as found. TFTC, Biggles.
Didn't know the Dominion Post was based here. Interesting as my dad used to work for the Dominion Post in Wellington.
In Petone for a ten pin bowling tournament, time for an evening walk from my motel to find two caches. All good here. FP. Thanks boxhill for the cache.
Mum is helping me log all my caches that I haven't logged yet.Found with Mum (LL113) and Dad (GNARwhal) and one of my sisters (Gabzter13).
One of the quickest park n grabs I’ve done! Easy tick for my daily challenge. TFTC

A nice quick find thanks.
Ms_KR and I are on our annual pilgrimage to Auckland for our family Christmas. Today are heading back over the ditch. Blenheim here we come! Please excuse the generic logs, there have been a few finds and they get muddled up sometimes.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

On a Christmas mission to Petone and this cache popped up nearby. I had planned to find a more “special” cache for our 14,000th but that cache isn’t there and the CO has been unresponsive so far with my offer to replace it. As I believe in karma and therefore caching karma there is obviously no mistake that I have found a boxhill cache instead and one of his post series too which I have enjoyed.
Thanks for the milestone cache boxhill

Day after election night, was shopping at the local Mega Mitre10 shop and couldn't resist seeing if there was a nearby cache to be found before travelling back to Welly. A quick find as a lot of gardening/pruning had recently taken place making the cache exposed. Very creative! A favourite point from me. TFTC.
