The boggy track stopped us from. Driving all the way in so we enjoyed a short 500m walk to GZ. Shame to see some rubbish dumped out here, but still a beautiful spot! Thanks
Find Number 2121 found at 14:20. Today we had 2 finds and 0 DNFs. This was the 2nd find of the day.
I've been working towards my son's 50 forgotten years challenge and the other day I spotted 2 caches in the Currumbene State Forest with 6 months or more unfound time. Today I set out to try to find them both and get the souvenir as well.
I made my way back up east Stump Road, onto Butterfly road and then on to Musk Road. This was a much easier road and I was able to park within 20m of GZ, where I made a quick and easy find
The cache was in good condition. We took nothing, left one of our Inheritance path tags, signed the log and replaced the container as found
Thanks RiverRuners for the cache.

We did few cache in the Currambene State Forest on that morning. At GZ it was easy to find it, but the worth was the track to get to GZ. Some parts were muddy and gave us a lot of fun.

Back out along the trails to find a few more. Not to wet nor too many obstacles in the way, except those blasted mosquitoes. TNLNSL TFTC
Found with Muppet95 on a trip to Currambene State Forest, Orient Point, Culburra and Greenwell Point for a day of caching. TFTC
Another day clearing out a chunk on the map. Today we hit the Currambene State Forest, Crookhaven, Orient Point, Culburra, Mayfield, Greenwell Point and Worrigee, before heading to Wollongong for dinner and the new caches near Lake Illawarra. It was unreal - 30 finds in 6.5hrs, with 0 DNF's - an awesome effort to clear a significant section of the map! Thanks to the Cache Owners for maintaining the caches that I visited today.
I managed to drive to within 500m of this one. A nice walk took me to the end of the trail to make the find. TFTC

We carefully cycled down this bumpy track. Our etrex was a bit jumpy, but we managed to find the cache. TFTC and the exciting exercise.
Found it -- SL TNLN TFTH. Cache in good condition. Attending an International Geocaching Day event today and as I had time afterwards “Yay,” I figured I should return this afternoon to complete a find on the remaining four caches in this series that I had not found a few weeks ago due to a time constraint. We were about to find our 600th cache so what better time than now to knock two birds off their perches with the one stone. . . complete this series and complete 600. Finding this cache was easy enough but **the dirt road was a shocker in our 2WD**. Ruts and lakes everywhere; took some very careful manoeuvring to get through in some places. Arrived at GZ after our bogging attempt. Signed log which made for series complete. The bush undergrowth is very thick. The fallen tree limbs are easy to stumble on if you’re not careful. Glad to get this series done before summer; I don't need to worry about being snuck up on by a slitherer. Thanks for the cache hide.
I found this cache as a joint part of “Team” Throsbyonchurch and in which name the log book was signed. I now have my own account as I’m old enough to cache myself, so I am claiming a fair share of my earlier finds. As I had no caching name at the time there's no log in the book for me but I’m claiming the find under team ToC. Thank you for the hide.
We're on the third day of our stay. It's going to be really hot today. The GeoSchnauzers and I are loaded for geocaches. Car, GPSr and sundry kit, ice water, and a sense of fun and adventure. It's going to be a park and grab day today, at least until the sea breeze kicks in.
We're picking up a couple on the way up to Jervis Bay, then the CSF series, then Callala Beach.
Thanks, RiverRuners. Still collecting caches by myself. I wonder if the dogs will come with me if I turn the engine off?

Justjessie and I were spending the weekend in the area caching and this series looked like fun. managed a clean sweep of them. TFTC.
Ironbarks 4WD came in very handy today.
I wouldn't have attempted this in a 2WD after the rain.
Thanks for the cache RiverRunners.

Found on a trip to Nowra and surrounds with Steeba and The Rats. When The Rats suggested a day trip to the area, none of us could say no, there are quite a few caches that have popped up around here of late. We had a great day driving around collecting some fantastic caches.
Final cache find in the series. I very enjoyable drive through an area that I had not entered before.
Cheers

I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate 15 years caching than with a few friends enjoying the game I love. Today I headed south with steeba and Hoojar as we endeavoured to find some caches in the Nowra district.
We had a lot of fun in this area except for the masses of mosquitos that seemed to try and carry us away at each location.
Thanks

Found on a day trip down to Nowra and surrounds with Hoojar and The Rats.
We managed to find all in this series over an hour or so and were able to drive where we needed to with a 2WD. Thanks for the series.

Having been altogether too long since I last found a cache, and finally with some free time and no other plans, I managed to entice the teenage team members into the Urban Assault Vehicle, and we headed off to the Forest. With the recent rain and some local knowledge, I knew we would have a little fun while on the hunt. The recent rain had filled the puddles and ruts, making for a great adventure with a quick find at the end. Thanks RiverRuners for the cache

Another quick find, nearly done! Did a 180 in the mud here accidently slippery when wet!
Ive taken this 2wd car where SUV's fear to tread but was defeated this time... got 7/10 in the series. Ill be back in the subie next time.
#6 - Nav found immediately. Praise God the caches are easy cause the driver is a wreck! SL TFTC RiverRuners
i found the puddle as well, but as i was on my own i decided discretion was better than getting stuck and muddy and i took a little detour . thanks for the cache, fun spot
Well.... my luck changed! Coming from coonemia catchment I was navigating my way to here via the shortest route possible. Turned into the direct road to this one as the track became again more challenging, but still fine. Only 400 meters to go, making good progress. Oeps a larger puddle, stopping the car, investigating and concluding it wa only a "little puddle" I thought whit a bit of momentum it was not going to be a problem! Wrong!! Went into the puddle and never came out! Stuck in the middle of the forrest, no phone reception, no means to get my self out. That means walking. Walked to musk, did the cache and with now reception had to make a few call to finally receive help from Callum68. Thanks heaps for everybody who helped out! I would still be there otherwise and of course a very special thanks to Callum68, owe you big time!

Went down one track ... too much water...backtracked to another water hazard, but negotiable. Made it!
Cycled to most of the series with family. Fun finds, great bush sounds and smells, challenging, tracks (for those not so fit) and persistent mozzies that ignored all protection.
Even found another cachers!! Not surprising as it was a great collection of caches that made us discover a little more of our backyard.
Thanks RiverRuner

Seen these pop up and this was the first time we were able to grab these, lucky we were able to do the lot with the geo vehicle, as I had recently had knee surgery, the car is not 4WD but has good clearance which came in very handy.
There were couple of hairy moments but Mr J had full confidence of the cars ability. ( I heard it all before, now I have great hairs)
We seen lots of Butterflies, picked up a red tailed black Cockatoo tail feather, mozzies and sounds of many birds, wallabies jumping around, a regular safari. What an eventful afternoon. TFTC

My Magellan had mixed success at getting me close via its car navigation mode. It had no idea about this road but I noticed it & drove down to record a quick find. It liked Butterfly Rd though sending me down then saying do a U turn which was near impossible. Drove down the other road but didn't like that either. Not to worry. Thanks.
Came down to check out this new series on a blank calendar day. Didn't manage to grab any FTFs but still had a great time in the GeoForester. Wasn't sure how I'd go but in the end I found all 10 in the series and the trig, and made it back home despite torrential rain and hail going back up the mountain. Fourth of the day and 2TF again. This one I came to via a few windy back tracks, from "CSF - The Swamp". Somewhat challenging at times but the GeoForester managed to power through. Lots of fun - TFTC!

Loved the bush bashing and getting geolux covered in mud after 9mm of rain today. Still have a few caches to do but not today. Light running out. Thankyou RiverRuners
