Time to go?
Sorry all for the lack of communication. This one is long gone. Unfortunately I've had hardly any time to cache lately let alone the less exciting cache maintenance. It's probablybest if i archive this one as it was not well hidden and mainly placed as a practice for making my own caches. Hopefully someone else can now utilise this space a bit better. Apologies to those who had their eye on this one and sorry for the lack of messages.
cheers, jgk92

will check this out when i get a chance, looking a logs there's a good chance it's gone
Found a spot to park and then the path the lead me to the GZ. But sorry to say, I also came up empty handed after a 15min search. Lots of charred trees and bushes, lots of scrabbling in leaf litter and lots of disturbing spiders webs, but nothing. Time for a CO check me thinks.
I could not find it. I was looking forever but there was no geocache I hope someone didn't take it
FIRST FIND!!!
great for beginners and wanting to have some geocaching fun. Water damage and couldn't read note
Left something behind

Hi Jgk92,
Unfortunately your cache has been muggled. I put the note book back in the cache and rehide it. However, I would suggest re hiding it and updating the cords. It may have been discovered during or after recent hazard reduction burning

We have found the cache. And the smell of the bush is awful. From recent bush burning.
TFTC. Saw some drunk person who probably should not of been hanging around a park...
Found very easy. Put more sticks over it. Water has gotten into the container and the logbook is wet.
#1837 (2 of 5 today)
Was originally intending to spend more time down here today, but tat got derailed by a First to Find at Minions, not that I'm complaining.
With a lengthy and unsuccessful search at one of the waypoints for confound The Language, I only grabbed two before dinner with friends. Had time for another two on the way home, though...
END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION
Probably took the long way to get here, but once near GZ a few spots stood out as possible hides. In one I found the prise, completely uncovered.
Took a short distance away to complete signing duties - log was damp. Then replaced.
Nice litle bush area.

After our last unfruitful search it was nice to find this one without too much trouble. Thanks
After a rather frustrating day I thought id hit the track for some RNR. Good little hiding spot. TFTC
Enjoy exploring around here for half day.
Great hide
Thanks for the hunting and cache.

Had been unsuccessfull in this park before on another cache. Today I walked up and straight found the cache surrounded by a lot of bongs!! I removed the bong so future caches with kids should be safe.

Nice easy find however lots of bongs around cache area. Take care with kids. Still damp but easy to sign with included pen. Thanks for cache
I like your idea of a small! Soaked inside, log is saturated and going mouldy, could still sign it though. I'll give it a fav point just because you think this is a small
We found our first geocache - very excited. Log book very wet but we put in a felt tip pen so people can still sign it.
Gotcha!
Log is definately wet.....idea to change. I think one of the clips is faulty.
Bush bashed first off until I finally found the path.....the Geokids were particularly appreciative.

Trackable was gone.
Thank you for the cache

found this one just laying out in the open, the TB was not present in the cache either. Replaced the cache where i assumed it was meant to be. TFTC
On the bike, kids are at gymnastics for the next tree hours! Time for a quick runaround!
Nice park, left a dinosaur.
Nice park, left a dinosaur.
Great hide, not so great findings inside. Hopefully the newest edition stays dry!
Dropped in on the way home from work and decided to go for it despite a bit of rain. Heading towards GZ the rain got a bit heavier as I luckily made a quick find. Well if anyone was around menai at about 7.05pm you would know how wet I got on the way back to the car!! Who was that person running through the park in the torrential rain? Just another crazy cacher keeping things real!!! TFTC

Rumbled down the thin black line late last night through the Big Smoke towards the Sunderland Shire and uncharted Territory to try my hand at finding a few caches there in the cool of the dark. Thanks to all who made my evening memorable, Thanks for the adventure

TFTC,
Requiring 5 caches, I set out today to make sure I reach 900 found caches in this calender year. Half as many again as last year.
Visited a group of trackables.

Glad the GPS took us this way and not thorough the shopping centre (cars were backed up around the roundabout). A little walk and a quick find. TFTC
Quick and easy find before running the Menai Park run this morning. Nice park this one. TFTC
Having lived in the area for 30 years, I had no idea this park existed so thanks for bringing me here.
Nice bit of bushland. Found it after running in the inaugural Parc Run Menai 5km. Cache nice and dry. Thanks.
Found with 'the neighbs' after scratching around for about 10 minutes. Not to self - take the mozzie spray! TFTC
As usual I came in the not so hard way, and left the easy path way...Thanks.
Saw this one pop up and a pretty quick stop on the way home. Not sure if the multi that was in this park is still there but I have visited this area for at least two caches in the past. A nice little walk to GZ and not too long and the cache was in hand. TFTC!
Over this way to check out another cache not far away. Didn't take long to locate and sign the log. TNLN, SL. Visited a keycoin. Hmmm didn't spot the TB that was supposed to be in the cache?
Geowife did a bit of CITO as the area has a lot of litter. Looks a lot cleaner now. TFTC jgk92.

My first find for the day. A nice and easy find after a short walk in the bush.
Thanos for the cache.

Sadly geocaching wasn't on our 'to do list' for today, BUT a quick check to see if this new cache had been found revealed that it hadn't, WELL lets see if we can change that!
A flat GPS was dragged out and plugged into life support and off we went. Had some trouble locating satellites to get a fix, but was soon near GZ. GPS was all over the place and a brief search didn't reveal anything decided to ditch the GPS and go with the gut! FTF
This is a nice chunk of natural bush land, so natural that we came across a bower, disturbed a wallaby, was nearly taken out by a couple of low flying cockatoos, and as it is spider time had a few creepy encounters. Reminisced about our experience finding the previous cache in this park. A lovely way to start the day.
Our only down would be - why there! If we had come totally prepared we would have done a little cleaning up of what looks to be the local youth hang out.
Otherwise a nice little cache, well done jgk92, thanks for the scratchie ...... no luck though!
Cheers
