Reperio 21:06Up early this morning for a full day of caching around the Yass and Goulburn area, and the rain that was predicted the day before well and truly arrived. In and out of the car in short bursts carried on throughout most of the day until later in the evening when things settled down. Most of the caches were found in good order today. Sydney to Adelaide cargo runDay Two: Goulburn to CorowaWeather: grey and rainy and wet underfootThis was a pretty quick drive by as I passed through Gunning this afternoon. No need to enter the cemetery. Thanks for putting a cache here jordy2000.
Long weekend trip to Bathurst. Barb2e and I are collecting caches in smaller towns on the way. With this weather (overcast and windy), the cemetery looked quite stark. Sad to see the baby graves near the fenceline. TFTC *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
On the way to Bathurst with isopeda for another Canberra invasion. Taking the back roads and collecting some caches on the way. A quick stop here at Gunning. Tftc

On my way to the Mega, day three. Leaving Cootamundra and making my way across to Goulburn.Doing odd caches along the way.Usually we detour Gunning, but today I though I have the time to have a good look around.Interesting that the Catholic Cemetery is so far away from the churches. Thanks, Robmc.
A straightforward find after I detoured into Gunning today, on my way home to the Central Coast from Canberra, to find another cache in the SideTracked series. Thanks for placing a nice handy cache for me to find as I was leaving Gunning.

While traveling from Geelong to Brisbane via the Hume I stopped and grabbed caches where I could.
As I was driving up the Hume Hwy I noticed Gunning had a little cluster of caches so I took the turn off and found a few of them.
A quick easy find on my way out of town.

Cleaning up some extra caches in Gunning that I missed when I was here a little while back for the events. This one was in a sad section of the cemetery where all of the babies are.
Over this Christmas and New Year break I'm heading to Adelaide to grab old caches, fill in my JASMER, and pick up assorted other rareish caches.

After the busy (and wet) summer had finished, The Rats floated the idea of a trip to the area around Canberra and Yass with Steeba and myself. We compared diaries, and had a two day mid-week window where we could make things happen, in the week wedged between Easter and ANZAC Day.
The weather was on our side for the first time in I forget how long, and we were able to make the most of our time opportunity.
A lot of excellent caches were found, and some fantastic terrain caches too. A few power trails, some crafty hides, some hard hides, and even some climbs that I could not do... even with our ladder!
Thank you to all of the cache owners for placing their hides. This boiler plate log does not reflect the quality of the hides. Most importantly thanks as always to my two great caching mates for their company!
Cheers

The Rats, Hoojar and myself teamed up for an assault in and around the Yass area for a couple of days- a most enjoyable caching trip with my mates. Plenty of power trail type finds but a lot of great variety here and there, particularly around Yass itself. We started off on Wednesday night and finished up Friday afternoon. TFTC!
#1763 Moving on from Gunning Cemetery to the Catholics. A nice quick find at GZ. Thanks jordy2000 for placing these Gunning caches.
A quick find find on our way out of town, stamped log and replaced. Thanks to jordy2000.
TFTC,
After spending the night camped by the weir, we set about to complete the local Adventure Lab, find a few local caches and some caches between Breadalbane and Collector before heading on home. Why do they all have to be separated made a quick find.

For the second day, I met up with Brewmaker in Goulburn and together we drove to our next stop in Gunning along the backroads through beautiful countryside. Along the way we picked up a wide variety of cache types.

On a road trip to my daughters wedding with the mother in law picking up a few caches along the way to break up the journey.
We often stop in Gunning on our way to Geelong, we rather like one of the lovely cafes in town. I did intend to redeem a previous DNF, but it appears to have been archived. So just chose one of the other selection in town to save others for other trips. Pretty much drive up to this one for a straight forward find.

Catching up with some late logs
An unexpected trip to NSW saw us with some spare time, as we had not planned anything we concentrated on Adventure Labs but this one came up and it looked like two caches for one park. These are the areas we would see if it were not for Geocaching and why we are still playing after so many years.
We find all cemetery interesting and full of history about how hard it was for the original settlers and their families.
The cache was found nice and quick and our name is now in the log.
Thanks again jordy2000 for the cache.

A nice quick find on a drive to Gunning with Sophiescout and Courty1. TFTC
An exciting early morning caching session out in the country. A little nippy, but the heat was on, find as many caches within the allotted time. With excellent eyes they came thick and fast, only the odd hide here and there testing hunting skills. By the time the whistle blew near on 30 smiles added. Apologies for the cut and paste, caches found in good condition unless otherwise noted. TNLNSL TFTC
A pleasant trip to Gunning from the ACT for a bit of a day out after an extended lockdown. Managed to collect a few local caches in the town and stopped for a coffee and lunch, socially isolated of course. All attempted were quickly found and in good condition. TFTC jordy2000

Found cache while waiting for our car to be repaired.
CUT AND PASTE SECTION Streak day 72 Below is a blurb about us. We are trying to get a badge from Project-GC for writing found log files of 100 words or more. Once we get this badge we will stop writing this. We are also trying to get badges for adding photos to our found logs. We Started caching in December 2019 and by January 2020 we were hooked. As we are on the road full time (living in a caravan), caching fits in well with this lifestyle. It is taking us to places that we would normally not have gone. When we move to a new place we also look at what caches are in the area and how many days we will need to be there to get the caches we want.

While still based at Yass we meandered around different localities finding caches. Yours was one we targetted and found. Our thanks to jordy2000 for placing this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Today I decided that rather than sit at home under the aircon, I could go caching and recover each time I ventured out into the heat to recover in the car aircon. It worked beautifully and I had a great day grabbing caches around a loop that started in Canberra up the highway to a couple of caches in the Australian Animals Series, out to Gundaroo, Collector, Breadalbane and back to Murrumbateman via Gunning and Yass River Road.
I learnt to become selective as I had no desire to climb trees, slip over lips or spend too much time in the heat searching for caches that had a DNF as the last log.
Some of the caches were easily found, others not. Some were in great condition and others need new logs and others as indicated by previous loggers need some maintenance.
Many thanks to the COs for placing these caches which add to my, and our, caching experiences.
All logs were signed, but some depending on room available and how I felt at the time, were logged as SG.

I noted that this cache was replaced by another user back in April, and finding myself in the area decided to take another look today. The cache has migrated its way outside the fence of the graveyard (as opposed to its original placement) and today I made my mark on the log.

Another easy cache for today. Thanks to Jordy2000 for the caches in this area. I may be back!
Teamed up with 154Crows and Geodude__ to target caches between Breadalbane, Gunning and Dalton. We had a great day outdoors, enjoying the countryside and different scenery. Thanks to all the Cache Owners for their hides (apologies for the generic log)!
