Thanks Nosynel for the cache and bringing us here. Muggle Kevy didn't find this one but decided it was time for a swim. The beach looked so tempting so in he went.
Last few finds if our 5 week visit to NZ - a trip over to Charteris and a walk round the Black point reserve grabbing a few caches too.Once parked up we walked round the trail and picked this up on route. Found after a short search, unusual container though we have seen one like this before TFTCTim and Viv - ddm
Coming for a drive around here is turning out not to be the best idea on such a lovely day as parking is very scare everywhere. I did manage to find a place to park here and then walk along to the track. So many people enjoying playing in the water or relaxing on the beach below. Nice surprise with the cache find here thanks Nosynel # 20,814
11:04 FITW GreenMenaceStarting our walk to Diamond Harbour here, and starting it with some hits! Not the best cache container but certainly... interesting I have actually found another one like this before. It's also growing it's own hits of flora and some fauna. The beach down here is veeery nice! And not many people around either. Could be the place to come for some swim and relaxing time near water. But not today, not for hoomans, at least - Luna did go for a swim!Kia ora! Paldies! Thanks for the cache, Nosynel!#9984
Very quick find in an interesting container that fits the location well. Thanks for the hide.

We headed over to Diamond Harbour today, picking up a number of caches here and there. A great day for it and lots of pleasant scenery along the way! This cache was a quick find. #5049. TFTC.
I'm currently down in Christchurch geocaching with my brother tbird 53. Today we came over to Diamond Harbour picking up geocaches, going on walks and enjoying the scenery. There is a newish house directly above this spot, so one needs to be discreet here, TFTC
[8)]Level 4 means no geocaching[8)] Level 3 also means no geocaching At the moment we are in level 3 so no geocaching Stay safe. Solve puzzles but don't geocache[8)] Remember to be kind to all.
Kia Kaha, we've still got this! It will be reinstated when we return to level 2.

We packed a picnic and decided on a nice day out to find solved puzzle and other caches. Such a lovely drive with many new walks not done before.
This is a great cache container that made us laugh so a fav from us. Thanks for bringing us here and the cache Nosynel.

14 March 2021 12:33 pm MacPacParent escaped in friends camper for the weekend as far as could take the road to the no campervans past Port Levy. This was the first cache after we got cellphone reception and could park the beast. Nice spot.
Quick find while staying in the area a few days. Plastic bag cover needs replacing. Tftc
Found this over a year ago and back in the area today when we realised that we'd not logged it. Refound today
Day 4 of our Sth Island (substitute for Seattle) trip. Took the walk down the stairs and after a bit of poking around soon had the greatest hits logged. Thanks for bringing us to this nice spot.

The Hint is very true. I had to do a spot of gardening to find it as the grass was over grown. Needs a new bag. I will put one there later.
We are at level 2 so geocaching is permitted.

Due to the government ordered Covid-19 lockdown, I will be doing my bit to #slowthespread. From 11.59pm on Wednesday 25 March 2020.
The virus can survive on plastic and paper for longer than three days
If you would like a geocaching related activity to do while you are observing the lockdown, I welcome messages about how to solve my puzzle caches - I am happy to give hints and tutorials so you have lots of new caches to find when this is over.

Had a great day out and about caching in Canterbury, many thanks to all the cache placer's.Thanks Bitsprayer
Out on the hunt today with Bitsprayer and Dwarp. Made the find and did the Cool Cats strut back to the vehicle.
Thanks

Found on a caching journey into Mid Canterbury today with Bitsprayer and Erninz. All caches found in good condition. Really enjoyed the challenge and the many hours spent on the puzzles caches to unravel the coordinates. Also great to travel along the many roads in the area. Many thanks to the various cache owners for placing and maintaining their caches. TFTC
Iris was in Wellington and I had wanted to do some Summit Road and Diamond Harbour. geocaches for some time. Set off at 9am. Found 14. DNF 2. Drove 90km and walked about 4km. This was cache find number fourteen. It took very little time to find the container. I remember doing one just like this in the Bowenvale Valley close to the Summit Road, many years ago. Thanks for the cache and the (little) exercise. Rodney
Short walk down to this one and found the cache in a likely looking spot. Nice little idea and surprisingly dry considering. Cool spot - TFTC
After dropping my kids off at the start of the Crater Rim race I headed back to the finish line in Christchurch via a few geocaches. Approaching GZ I spotted the ripped plastic bag the cache is in. Once I spotted the container the name of the cache made sense.
We did a cache just like this in Liverpool, UK where it was wedged in between two flat rocks. This one was not quite the same but was damp. Nice to find the cache after four months of silence.
On a sunny ANZAC day we thought we should get some exercise. OP44 went for a swim while we walked. It seems that there's always new houses being built here, some with no regard for global warming. Found this easily only to see my log at the cache, written on the date here, but it's actually now 25th April 2022. Whoops. Tftc
Quick find. I love a bit of classic rock. Kids enjoyed the beach. Nice and sheltered in a North easterly. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. Team Broadbent (signed TB on micros). Find # 1949
Nice place. Not too many muggles around. Had to look twice until found there was something. TFTC.
Nice! Love the container! Windy day so nobody about. Too windy to walk on the beach so we headed off for some more caches. Tftc
Out on a Sunday Mission with Shannonp1 specifically to find some long solved puzzles including some D/T's. This was a quick easy find. Thanks for the effort that goes into placing and maintaining the cache.
We were doing a bit of clean up out this way and I needed to pick this one up. A popular beach this morning with the temp being about 30, I can see why. Just as I was signing the log, an inflatable board or something made a large screeching noise then went bang and limp - too much pressure I think. Cheers
My inlaws were down visiting for the week, so some caching was planned. The day was pretty hot, so we didn't get as much caching done as we wanted.
No problems locating the cache today. Thanks for the

Down in Christchurch for a week,a day out caching with 2wombles. Thanks Nosynel for the cache.
Well, hello cool cat on such a hot day. The water looks pretty inviting, time to dip our toes in. Tftc from team jeje.
Nice spot, never been here before and we enjoyed a stroll along the beach after finding the cache. Tftc!
What an interesting cache! We found this one quickly. Thanks for placing a cache in this very nice area.
Out on a caching adventure with daughter and granddaughter to have some fun! The youngest one did not like looking back and having limited involvement in the roadside finds, so we trying to mix it up a bit. TFTC!!!

I was keen to go find some caches, so was mum, but hubby had ditched me to go off attempt to go hunting, and I needed my fix!! So we took the baby with anyways - but it was quite tough to go caching like this!! She hates the car seat! Argh!!! Luckily she slept the first bit, but in the end we had to find caches that were not roadside to get the baby out of the car, so the find count wasn't super great today! But it was something!!
Baby was awake here - time for a walk - was pretty deserted here in the cold & wind!

Tftc!!! Been here tons of times until GC brought us here for this... fun find thanks... 2rd for today aiming for 10..
25/02/17 - Just got back to UK after 6 weeks in New Zealand during which time I found just over 500 caches. I'd didn't get time to log them all at the time so catching up now. All quiet around here today. TFTC
Took the long way to get to this one! Eventually we zeroed in on the right spot and and the cache was soon found. Beautiful beach area and a load of interesting shells, would love to come back here sometime.

#12767. The spoodle was a big hit with us, and finding the cache was a bonus. TFTC.
The puzzles in the D/T series with solutions on the other side of the harbour have been beckoning us for a while and today, with the mild weather forecast, seemed an ideal opportunity to turn as many as possible into smiles.
Not sure if I have been down to this bay before. Looks like it's popular even in winter. While StreetWalker was looking for the cache (I was sitting on a rock, putting fresh batteries in my GPSr), a very friendly spoodle raced up the steps and demanded cuddles. The owner soon caught up and noticed our GPSrs so asked us what we were doing. She had heard of geocaching before, and SW found the cache and showed her the container. Nice hide! Thanks for bringing me here and TFTC.

Another beautiful Kiwi spot! Found with Conbat on another stinking hot Canterbury day! Shame we didn't have our togs! TFTC!
Parked up nearby and took a wee walk to GZ where I sat a while retrieving the cache as it was a little stuck in its hide - eventually retrieved and the log signed. A very novel cache thanks Nosynel.
Had to scope out the area first as muggles about, enjoyed the wee wander down to the beach, stopped at GZ quick retrieve from there tftc lovely spot
That took some time and patience. New land owner clearing the grass. But all sweet in the end. Tftc
On Tour together with Sabe73 as Team "TheBros" around South Island to visit some nice spots.
We also visited this location and could find the box almost quickly.
Thank you for showing us this place and of course for the Cache.

[green] Out with Hanknstone again, doing a miscellaneous set starting with the Smile series and then working on the D\T group. After caching the last couple of days in the rain is was nice to finish the day with dry feet - sunny all day! (Surprise!).
Just a few traditionals to break up the puzzles. Hanknstone has never seen this kind of cache container before. I have - just once.

An interesting new subdivision out on this point. Parked and walked down the track to GZ where we soon spotted the nicely themed container. Thanks.
This is the last for today.
After a very short walk, could i the box quickly.
Thanks for this special box.

On the way to Lyttleton we stoped for that box. It is a special box. Thanks for it
We got a little worried when we saw all the new private driveways around here but then we spotted the entry point and took a wander down. A group of kayakers was out in the bay and it looked like ideal conditions for a paddle. Nice easy find.

First cache for ages since our last caching trip. But with the great weather it was time to visit Diamond Harbour and some new caches. TFTC
Visiting some friends in the bay on this cold blustery day so took a short walk down to the beach and up to GZ. Spotted it from the right angle and quickly signed the log. Many thanks for this cache.
Last cache of the day! Number 15 for the day (including 9 FTFs - gotta love it when the puzzle FTF chasers are the COs!) Popped down from above and had an inkling what I was going to be looking for before I arrived. As it happens my guess on cache container and location were spot on.

TFTC. Out and about for a few hours on the Port Hills as it was such a lovely day for the first day of winter.
I seem to have joined lots of road cyclists, off road cyclists, motor bikers, walkers and runners.
I decided to carry on around the coast before heading back towards town.
This large sub-development has not really moved on much since I was last here.
Nice wander along the path to retrieve this cache.
Thanks Nosynel for placing the cache.

Mrs TW and I had a lovely spot of lunch at the Governors Bay Hotel and we had an hour to play with before we had to grab the cachelets from school. Mrs TW wanted to head to Purau for a drive. I willingly obliged. There are a few houses being built here now. My choice of parking spot will one day be a driveway. I headed to GZ, spotted the cache and carried on looking. Doh, I read the cache title and then went back to where I spotted the cache and signed the log to 'record' my find.
Thanks for the cache.

They are starting to do a bit of work around this area which is great and a nice wee walkway down to the beach. TFTC. Cheers Bo
Mrs G suggested a "mental health day"....so we dropped the boys to school then headed out to Diamond Harbour. We walked up Mt Herbert...collecting 3 caches along the way. Driving back to CHCH we had a bit of time to spare before needing to pick up the boys from school so we stopped off for a quick find and sign. After the big walk up and down herbert & the wee sit in the car to this cache...the ol' legs weren't impressed with the down and back up the track - short distance it is! LOL. Quick find and sign. Nice one. Cheers.
Every day we are traveling around is same but also different. Today we had again the pleasure to visit some very beautiful spots and were also able to find nearly placed geocaches. I thank every single owner for placing it and giving us with doing this an other good reason to come here.
Mallorcatommy and I were travelling through the southern island of New Zealand. What an amazing, breath-taking landscape! On our way we did some nice walks, enjoyed ourselves and found great geocaches. Thanks to all owners for nice hiding spots... We wouldn't have been to a few places without these little boxes!
Thank you!
