Spent about 20 minutes searching the items that we thought that the container was going to be hidden in - nothing

On our way from Townsville to Cairns (don't have to be there for a few weeks) caching as we go. Got to keep up the geostreak. Maintenance is required for this cache, there have been a string of DNFs. It does not appear to be there any longer.

Like the last postfound a likely looking container whichwas empty. Mayhavebeen muggled.

Not knowingly parked right next to it for an immediate find. Cool container. The contents were damp so dried them out for while we played on the beach before returning. Tftc.

After visiting Paluma with my grandparents. Frullet Jr had been telling them all about treasure hunting so a detour was in order to show them what geocaching is all about. Thanks for placing here as this is what geocaching is all about, finding hidden gems like this. Great spot and a favourite from me:-)

I found this a few weeks ago with my Aunty but only just got an account to log the find. TFTC.

I'd found most of the caches along the beaches up here over the past year or so but had missed this one. Today I drove in and parked and made a quick find - hard to miss! Signed and replaced. There's a tube of something in there which seems to be leaking and should be removed I guess.
Went for a walk along the beach afterwards.

Looks like a small animal with very sharp teeth has started to chew the lid, may not be water proof for too much longer.

Found this out with my nephew geoboy. I left a trackable here a few months ago and unfortunately someone has taken it without logging it.

TFTC it took 5 mins to find. I loved the container. Left a travel bug behind.

Very fun cache... love the container! Fabulous beach you might not find unless someone told you about it. TFTC.... swapped finger monster for a bouncy ball. Also dropped off Anemone The Clown Fish trackable (CBY94G). Its goal is to travel to ad many beaches as possible.. so this was one not to be missed!

TFTC This one drove me nuts but I found it!!

Traveled out to Bluewater with Mtn Pygmy Possum, so as to link up with ^dventurer for a recky of a certain T5 cache located nearby. With recky completed, Mtn Pygmy Possum and myself returned to Townsville via Toolakea and Bushland Beaches for some cache finds.

On arrival at the GZ, I knew exactly what we were looking for, but it still took awhile to locate. But once I changed my focus from one specific level to another, the prize revealed itself rather quickly.

Took and left nothing. Log signed. The cache container and contents were found to be in excellent condition. Finding this cache has now given me a total find count of 1347.

Took the car out for a rare drive these days up to Bluewater with RobS72, loaded with a few potential tools for a for a reccy and possible attempt linked up with ^dventurer of a certain T5 cache located nearby. After an in depth discussion of options and plans we decided on a different plan of attack for another day. Before returning to Townsville, we decided to visit Toolakea and Bushland Beaches to try to collect a few other caches, including this one.
We had a pretty good idea of what we were looking for, but after a pretty thorough search at one level with nothing found, RobS72 then spotted the prize. A very cool cache!

10:23:00 AM. Made a mistake here and drove into the parking area with our caravan. No where to turn around and the trees were to low to continue the circuit. Oh well off to find the cache. The better half spotted this one as well and the log was signed. Very clever and worth a favourite point from us. Back to our vehicle and reversed all the way out to the road. Thanks drubdrub for placing this cache.

Decided to do some caching today to distribute some TBs I had brought from Brisbane a short while ago. There was absolutely no one else around, very peaceful, had all the time in the world to look for the cache. It didn't take all that long! Nice idea, like the container

We were not alone. Apart from myriads of ants we were in good company of four ladies and four horses. "Fortunately" they didn't care about us. Thus, the secret trick to reveal the unique container stayed a well kept secret.

On our return to Cairns after attending the Pi Day Event we called in to attempt to locate this cache.
As Walter mentioned, the area was a favourite picnic spot for a couple of families and their horses during our visit.
We had an idea regarding what to look for, but it was the where we located it that had us amused.
A fun find and well worth a favourite point for location and creativity.

After searching quite a bit at GZ and nearly giving up we finally saw the cache hide (must have been cache blind ) and quickly signed the log. Definitely our best cache hide we saw today and we appreciated the craftiness of this cache. Favourite point from us. TFTC

A really nutty experience, lots of laughs

Just so the CO is aware, the cache was full with water and log slightly damp but could still write on it okay..

After a slight modification the Cache is Back in business.

Obviously the cache is not holding up to our tropical weather. Will temporarily disable it while we fix the problem. Should be back soon!

We found what we think may have been the camo for the cache but no cache in sight!

Yftc thought i was ftf but beaten to it. Cache needs maintance as i found in the open on ground. Put back close to where i think it goes.

We're leaving town tomorrow and headed out to the Northern Beaches one more time to grab this cache.

Once at GZ we looked at several likely cache containers and while we were on the right track they were not the container. After consulting the hint we changed our search strategy and soon had our eyes on the prize. After accessing the container we signed the log and took the TB contained within.

Love the container, this gets a favourite point from us.
