Couldnt find this one! Saw a broken fishing line and suspected that had something to do with the cache.Hopefully someone else can find it, well have to come back and try again!
Snails and ants put a halt to our run. Maybe next time well be able to fish it out.
A no go for us. Not because we couldn't find it, but even with the tool, it wouldn't connect to come out!
Love it Def needed to come back with a much smarter team mate found with leiusandkyla
Very clever hide. Took the team to put all the bits together to get the cache. Found with toby84
Nice hide, havnt seen one of these in a long time. Thanks for the fun. A fav point granted! Found with Reny90
Quick stop on our way out to Beachlands. What an awesome cache - loved it! We do suggest that the CO comes to check on this and we direct message the maintainer required. TFTC.
Will have to come back in the day light maybe.... Couldn't see many places an eclipse tin would fit
Found this one outside where it was suppose to be muggle attack no log added paper and something little Tftc it looks good to go now
Very cool cache to start the morning. Little busy even for this time of the morning. Tftc.
Easy to spot what turned out to be bit quite what I excepted. But then became obvious.
FINALLY we get to attend the MEGA. Attending as part of Team BoP. We have a load of solved puzzles and whilst we are concentrating on those, won’t pass up on trads either.
Cool idea. Took a bit of time on such a busy road luckily tool was up to it.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

Up in Auckland for the mega with Philip.Perry and McJandals. Left home at 0300 over the hill to Tauranga to pick up the others in Auckland by 6am. Only plans today are to attend Mega sign log there then follow the map to get as many caches as possible. Signed logs TeamBOP.
Team BOP is back on the road this time heading to Auckland with our sights set on some Labs, puzzle solves and the NZ Mega 2020… I mean 2022
Our current incarnation includes Davidson Clan, McJandals and myself and we’ve signed the cache logs as ‘Team BOP’ to save time and log space. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed the journey as most caches have been found quickly & without fuss thanks to accurate coords and a straight forward placements.
I appreciate there’s a stigma attached to cut’n’paste logs like these so I’ll try to provide cache specific notes retrospectively when I get home. We do genuinely respect the work put into these caches, particularly some of the puzzles, but with a numbers mission like this - the hides start to blur together unfortunately. So Cheers COs, TFTC and most importantly - thanks for bringing us here

Find number 7840. This one had been on my radar so as we were up in Auckland for the mega and were passing had to stop. We had difficulty retrieving the log and while doing so we were joined by TeamBOP. A little more time was spent and we were signing the log. Please we parted company and both went our separate way. Than you for the placement.
Up this way for the Mega with EyespyBen & KGD

on our way to the mega easy find but just couldn't get it out so K-G-d was the man bingo favorite for the day.
I stopped off years a few years ago, wasn't able to get my hands on the log back then, but no problems today. TFTC
A nice quick find thanks. It did take a bit longer to find the helper, as our TOTT we not up to it! Fav Point from me, Cheers
Time for another trip to the North Island for Ms_KR and me. Wellington and beyond here we come. Today we did a little cruising around to the East and south of Auckland..
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Well! KRs TTOOT was too weak and too big so we were stumped. Then I did something with something that I thought was nothing but was something and the rest was easy. Felt sure the nearby sign was for the Mega! Tftc

We came prepared (or at least thought we had) but when your TOTT is too short - you just MacGyver it. TFTC

We were out making the most of this sunny, warm day and amidst Level 3 lockdown the restrictions were eased a little allowing friend visits outside.
On the way we chose to give this one a go carefully (sanitised hands and cache before and afterward) as it had a large number of favourites.
Spotted ‘part 1’ of the cache and had a quick think before realising how this one worked - creative!
Log signed and replaced and off we go to our outside meetup!
TFTC,

Wow... That was a quick find and not so quick log... We had to convince it to show itself with a bit of tapping as it was stuck...
Thank you for the cache

Located the tool and solved the puzzle but tool just didn't have the juice to help me complete. I'm cool not to claim this one as not found given I didn't complete the final step.
Probably worth another maintenance check? Great cache either way.
Probably worth another maintenance check? Great cache either way.
Found everything but couldn't retrieve container due to the casing being deformed due to the way its been repaired. extremely frustrating.
repaired, replaced and ready to go again. FYI this is not a water cache, TTOT is hidden nearby. Happy caching
On our way back from visiting duders Park today and as usual I wanted one more as didn’t like the number of finds we were on so stopped off here. Was looking forward to a little challenge but seems this cache isn’t as the owner would intend and we manage to make a quick find.
Found the cache! A need idea, only the Cache is WELL stuck inside so unable to extract the cache. However, signed a piece of paper and placed with tott to show we have found it. TFTC!
The cache is WELL stuck inside, used 2 totts to try extract it, but no luck. May need a smaller container or stronger tott. Thanks!
Thought I was in trouble for a moment but all became clear and the task was completed.
A favourite from me. Tftc

I spotted where the cache was on arrival to GZ. I knew the TOTT I had wasn't long enough (and I hadn't read the description properly about everything you need being at GZ) so thought I might need to come back another time. But then I spotted what I needed, yay, and the cache was quickly in hand... love it! TFTC!
Cool cache. Almost gave up and walked away until we spied 1st part cache. Thanks
Last one for me for today. I was at GZ few week before but that time couldnt reach it. Today was much easier. TFTC
Another nice day of cashing for the Hidden creatures challenge. This one was one of the best caches I ever found!!! Cool idea. TFTC
Hidden creatures challenge... ACCEPTED. Found together with Greenkiwikids and Pyphant and signed as team Piraten. COOL! TFTC
After dropping off my host kid in school I used the wonderful weather to do little Geocaching Tour. Happy, that I found all the Caches I tried!
Nice idea, construction works without problems. Deserves a FP!
Thanks for hiding!

Looks like cache is stuck inside. Had a tool but after several attempts gave up. Maybe next time. TFTC
Out driving the Scenic Route today to boost our caching tally for this calendar date.
Stopped to pick this one up along the way. No problem extracting the cache here, thanks to a TOTT. Thanks.

On an early morning caching mission, 2 of the clan hatched a plan to make an early morning trip north and to find enough caches to qualify for the Planetary Pursuit. Careful planning was made and we had a very enjoyable hunting out the caches. Thanks also go out to all the cache owners who have placed and maintained the caches.
Very well done, Fav. point from me

Found together with Doandhopers
We found the tool first, and that led us to think what we were looking for to locate the cache inside of.
Then we found that.

Interesting found. First of kind for me. Don't know how people exert cache. without tool, or any other way!!!! A pretty simple and effective way to camo a cache. SL with Godfryh, as we continue our Sunday afternoon at getting a few others, along with the "scenic route' series knock,of, but might have to carry on next weekend, and complete the sweries from Papakura, and not Howick. TFTC SL.
I was looking forward to the challenge of extracting this cache, but either some bits are missing, or the design has changed. It was quite straightforward. Thanks for bringing us here though! TFTC
Sounded interesting and nice disguise, but no tool needed to extract tin & sign log. Still nice way to break up afternoon trip with friends. Cheers NZTravellers.
Well we certainly didn't use water but I don't think we extracted the cache the way it's suppose to be as we used no extraction tool, but very quickly accessed the log by other means. Found with Jag50 and Aiden29
Merlot58, Aiden29 and ourselves headed out to the east again today to go and find some rural caches and catch up with Pazzabella and Geocchi to capture some caches in a Clevedon Reserve. Had some spare time and so decided on some drive by's. Got here and called out WILSON. Hmmm. No response. But we did find the castaway. Didn't need any tools so not sure if we actually recovered the cache in the desired manner however no Castaways or Wilson were harmed in recovering or replacing the cache.
On our way to Clevedon to walk the Scenic Reserve with Jag50 and Merlot58. We located Wilson, but I don't think it was the way he intended, as no extraction tool was used, but the log was unharmed during extraction.
New cache container and log put in place. Extraction tool in place and working. Please, please don't use water in this cache....please!
Another cache that needs some attention - sigh* this is not a water cache....
out and about New Zealand with Red Roaming, unfortunately we don't have too many days left now. We are visiting friends in Howick and today we have decided to go to Clevedon and caching on the way. Logs signed DD & RR or with our full caching names
apologies for the lateness in my logging.
we found the useful tool, which we used. the old log was MUSH so we donated a new log and new bag. Brilliant idea. MTFTC

PLEASE COULD THE CO CHECK 'THE TOOLS' AS WE ARENT TOO SURE IF THEY STILL WORK.
LOG SODDEN - NAMED AND SIGNED DONATING LOG AND PUT IN DRY NEW PLASTIC BAG
Cache camo quickly seen and log soon in hand. I haven't seen the film but have a here! Many thanks
Travelling around the world with Dartmoor Deliverer celebrating her taking early retirement!

After a busy morning I decided that it was time to get out and get some fresh air. I had seen this one a number of times on the geo map, but had never given it a go... that was until this afternoon. After arriving at GZ I actually had to wait a while because there was another vehicle parked quite close and the driver was taking a call. But then the thought crossed my mind that maybe this could be another geocacher waiting to see if I would clear off. However, that was not to be the case as the driver soon hung up and drove away. So now that the coast was clear I made a move to GZ and soon located the cache. However, upon opening said cache, I found that the log book was completely munted and mushy, and so as I didn't have any replacement logs with me I simply wrote my name on another piece of paper and put it in the cache... so it might pay to check it out sometime over the next few days. Anyway, thank you once again NZTravellers for your efforts in setting this cache (along with all of your other ones). I really appreciate your efforts.
Managed to sneak in and get cache even with a sleepin truck driver parked right at it
Very cool idea NZT! !!!!!
Never seen one before ...but soon cottoned on to the 2 part find .
Excellent and well maintained...blends right in somehow !

The final cache of the afternoon for Crusing5 and myself. Cache location was obvious but how to get it out? Further searching revealed the tool necessary but as it was a bit of a mess and fixing it was taking too long with the traffic building up and daylight starting to fade, we Macgyvered a solution using similar items in my bag to give us the ability to retrive the log.
I've heard of caches similar to this but this was my first time to tackle one so a fav point from me

I was in the process of taking EmCeeKiwi home, when we decided to detour on the way. We quickly found this caches location, but what took should we use? EmCeeKiwi had a tool in her trusty backpack but it was too short. A quick search and we found another tool. After a bit of Macgyver ingenuity, we managed to extract the cache. A fun cache to end the day on. A favourite point from me TFTC
awesome cache! loved it, found all i needed rather quickly and had cache in hand after my first failed attempt (slippery little fella!) signed and replaced in no time. love the creativity here gets a fav from me. Tftc
I received a phone call about 2pm asking what I was doing in the evening. I said nothing, so the boys said "come caching!" So we did, leving Hamilton at 7pm to spend the evening picking up caches. This was my No49 of the evening. All logs signed RICH.
Gosh the boys were quick, I was only just getting out of the car when they had this one in hand!

It's been a while since we have done a night mission, so with a few ideas thrown about we settled on heading to the Beachlands/Maraetai area for a bit of a clean out and to locate the two night caches in the area. The team consisted of RWIMF, iammrwalker, Cats&Dragons and myself (HKCB), which meant we signed the logs as RICH an accornym of our caching names.
Leavng home about 7pm we cached through the night, with the goal to reach my 7000th find, unfortunately the late night counting wasn't accurate enough which meant I was 1 short of that goal, but still 67 finds for the night wasn't a bad effort. We all had a great night, and found a handful of really good geocaches as well. A big thanks to all the CO's for the placements.
No trouble with this one at all, we had it out in a flash.

Found all the necessary but cache seems to be stuck... we cachers need to be gentle with these special hides. T4tc
Nice one!!! Arrived at GZ and had a look around for objects of interest. Hmm. OK got that, now how do I?? Found the extraction device - which had been jammed real tight into its container [:(!] so I had to improvise and extraction device extraction device. Once that was in hand the cache followed quickly after. Very nicely constructed cache. TFTC, Biggles.
We had been to the west coast of NZ, today we headed towards the east coast, nice farming area & then glorious ocean views. We found a good variety of hides & caches
This would have to be the pick of the day. Favourite point given.
Thanks for placing this cache NZTravellers
We were about to head home after a day in the area and spotted this one on the map which was too tempting to pass up.
A quick detour soon had us at GZ and we spotted what we were looking for. But how to extract it? We scratched our heads for a moment before excitedly checking out the surrounding area and soon had the required tools in hand.
Passing traffic was a bit of a problem from a stealth perspective but we positioned ourselves in such a way to make what we were doing a bit ambiguous and potentially construed as paddock appreciaton. The cache was soon retrieved from its clever hiding spot, the log signed and the tools returned while maintaing the pretence of our paddock watching activities.
Thanks for this awesome hide. Great fun and a definite favourite point from us.

Last cache of the day 30/30 as the weather was starting to get bad. TF made short work here and the cache was soon in hand. Thanks
Heading out to Duders with TW, so stopped for a few drivebys on the way. Seen a great version of this in mounted in a tree in Hamilton by Cats & Dragons, so had no worries with what we were doing. Thanks.
We needed a cache today to meet the criteria for Mission GC stage one and this was one of our closest that meet the criteria and wasn't too tricky to find. We loved the retrieval method and the kids had fun making the find. Each had to have a turn. Cache was in good condition. Found with purply and darthcacher1. Favourite point given
Found this cache to get a Souvenir. Found the second part easy and got the cache. TFTC. Found with HeMaLuDy and Darthcacher1.
