I was out here a couple of weeks ago to look for this one...found a magnet but nothing else. Then got a bad phone call and abandoned my search and forgot to record a DNF. I was back over this way this afternoon and thought I would give it another go. And there it was. Didn't have many reasons to smile today but this made me happy.

Clever hide. I didnt dear pull the log out as i knew there was know way id get it back in but i seen the little smily face which was cute.
Really clever disguise. Best one I have found so far but I had a good idea what to look for. TFTC
A morning walk in the dark to this spot. Kind of knee what I was looking for. But still managed to look everywhere else first! Watch the broken glass. Thanks for the cache.
It was my son and I’s first ever go at geocaching. Great first one to find! Nice spot
Thank you!
Thank you!
This one made my day it was awesome to find I just couldn’t believe it. You are right when you say plain sight but camouflaged . One of my favourites since geocaching . TFTG
We have travelled extensively through the Kimberley over the last month, and are now heading into the Pilbara. Another of our favourite areas!
As we travelled the area 4 years ago there were very few caches to find in the Kimberley, but now in the Pilbara we are finding quite a few. Good to see, as we have not added to our count much for quite some time.
After arriving in town this morning we had some lunch and are now out on the trail of some caches.
Some good camp here, but experience came to the fore and we made the find.

Aiming for a few caches in Karratha before leaving town and heading south again. I spent way longer than I was planning to, and did not leave until past lunch time - obviously did not want to start heading back TFTC!!
In Karratha for a few days so I can spread the finds out that way geohusband doesn't get too bored. TFTC
Log full so I replaced it for CO. If you'd like the old one just message me.
Find 1735
Found quite quick. Loved the effort and a fav point added.. log sheet full, but did manage to sign. All back safe again.
Thanks

Great cache loved the camo. Squeezed my name in horizontally. Sorry I didn't have a new log to replace the full one. Thanks for the cache
Tftc. Log is now full, but love the camo, my partner and I had just been discussing our favorite hides and this is right up there.
Day 7 of my trip from Perth, Exmouth to port Samson to camp the night ... I Thanks to all the COs for placing caches along my journey ......
Very nice. Lived here my whole life but never came to this spot, always wanted to haha thanks for making me.
With so many caches around the area we decided to spend two nights here and have today to explore Karratha and Dampier without the camper trailer on the back and a very pleasant day was had indeed.
We have to say when we pulled up her we were expecting something totally different like some sort of old machinery so we actually breathed a little sigh of relief as we have a bit more luck on this sort of hide. After our third circumnavigation and searching high and low we were starting to think that our luck had run out when Diane spotted something and upon close examination it turned out to be the cache and we very happily added our name to the log.
Many thanks hallsy_18 for this nice hide.

Many thanks hallsy_18 for this nice hide.
Tricky find, especially at night when it's harder to notice its slight difference to its surroundings, good cache though
Before we were anywhere near GZ we had an idea in mind on what the container might be. A careful look around and we spotted what we had hoped to find. Our idea was correct! We have seen this type of hide before but want to give it a favourite point as it blended very well with its surroundings. Thanks go to hallsy_18 for a really fun cache.
Day four of Barnzy12 and Cravo10 adventure to the Northwest of WA, filling out boots with LGAs, rare DT, old caches, and good old fashioned red dirt!
Today we travelled from Exmouth to Karratha via
Cape Range national park, nanutarra, fortescue river and a bunch of other remote roads. Today was mainly a driving day, with very few caches found between towns, even with three unlisted archived caches on our list, which we all picked up, one of which hadn't been found for more than three years.
We started the day picking up one cache in cape range national park by team red roo which has sparked our interest "low level lookout", a cache that has only received three fav points but it one of the best caches I've ever done, such a beautiful location, which will stay with me forever. Check the pics, it is simply a must do in Exmouth!
We travelled further along the main highway and stopped at nanutarra road house which is still ridiculously expensive, but who can resist buying something from a place with a reputation like that, it's changed a lot since i was here last.
Another fav was the panabucket cache at the turnoff to panawonica.
We continued along the highway with a few deviations to pickup more caches before arriving in Karratha and picking up a bunch of caches that were mostly park and grabs after Cravo hurt his back trying to find one of kyzabras caches almongst the rocks, so he was on navigation duties and I was left to drive and find!! A rare sight!!
Huge days caching tomorow planned as we head out to the Dampier coast like and the burrup peninsula with a few virtual caches on our hit list. A good days caching today with another LGA knocked off and a few more archived finds.
Thanks to the local COs for their caches.

Only in town for 2 weeks so thought I should start add some more smileys to my map since I may not be back again
I was a bit hesitant about having a look for this one since Eth couldn't find it and knowing he would have had a good look
This one has been on my radar each time I fly up but I have always left it. Today I thought otherwise
Luckily for me I have always known what I would be looking for so,it made today's search so very easy
A quick find and signed log
TFTC and replaced as found

In town for work but flying out later day. Went for a walk early to grab this one before I packed up and headed to my meeting then off to the airport and home.
The hills are looking so green after all the rain
Took looking at a couple of places first the I spied it. Nice placement
TFTC and I placed it back where I found it

Another smiley added here today on a 5 week Pilbara and Kimberley break, a very clever hide TFTC
Visiting from Canberra for a few days and came to grab some caches. This is an odd little park with a clever cache. TFTC
Our last day in Karratha ... Enjoyed looking for this one and soon had cache in hand all quiet in the park today T4TC:)
Great hide! So much effort and creativity in this little cache! The boy and I loved it!
Bother, bother, bother.... I looked and looked but couldn't spot the cache but now as I read the log by If I feel as if I know what I should have been looking for. I hope we come back through Karratha on our way home and have another chance to look for it.
thanks Hallsy

Strolling in the light rain this morning,
I headed for this rather forgotten about park.
GZ put me in the middle of a patch of green.
But a cache with that name must surely live on the only thing nearby with rust showing
Yet look,
climb,
poke as I might !!
Rusty Rex,
remained out of sight [:o]
Frustrated at me lack of finding,
I stood back a bit and thoughtfully rubbed me stubbly chin.
"Add shaving razors to me shopping list", I thought
Then something so un-noticible,
so ... it just belongs there and can't be a cache,
was noticed.
It *had* to be the cache
One of the best executed examples of this 'genre' of cache hide I have taken a while to see [^]
Just the setting is enough to make any cacher think that there couldn't be a cache hidden here
Yet there is !!
And as promised ... it is in plain sight [^]
Fave dance time !!!!

Restored my faith in my caching ability after 2 DNF's today. Nice camp, nice hide!
West Australia 2016 trip. Day 11. Today I spent the morning caching around Karratha and Dampier before spending the afternoon resting. The evening was an event to celebrate the leap day. My first day without long driving on this trip. I tried really hard not to find this one, but eventually saw what was needed.
Thanks.

Headed out tonight with danee44 as I was visiting her new home town for work.
We had a couple of caches on the radar and this was one.
A nice camo on this one worthy of a favourite.
Have you logged your WILL ATTEND for WA GOES BIG in 2016 ?
I have and am looking forward to seeing as many of you in Pinjarra on the WA Day long weekend.
Log you will attend at GC5YAGP

Nice hide my fav find since being in Karratha. Made even better by finding it in the dark ons quick search after dinner.
That was awesome! What a clever cache! My 10 year old found it, he is very happy with himself! First find by himself.
It took a minute or two to locate this one but that was because there were some workers nearby and someone came out of their house to get in their car. Thanks for the cache. I like this style.
