This one’s hiding spot is still here but it is not where I left it. Time for this one to go and to free up the space so another hider can hide here should they wish to do so.
No luck today, local resident advised that council may have removed it. As it is no longer where he said people usually found it.
Possibly removed as local resident showed us where it used to be and it was not there
I’m out of town for a bit so disabling until I can confirm it has been removed
Third DNF. I see how it would’ve been encased in rocks by how the other two gardens are but the rocks are gone from the middle one now. Looked around briefly but if a cache is there it’s buried. Otherwise it’s quite bare.
I made a detour to this part of the world while in Sydney today in order to finally sign off on a challenge cache I had had on my to-do list for 4 years. And since I was in the area, it made sense to grab a couple more in the Bushes and Field series, which I had started on back in 2015. This one was a straightforward find and the cache is in good nick.
Thanks for the smiley skyebomonkeytown.

Had tried to make a start on this series a few years back but with only one smiley out of those tried, I gave up on the rest. In the area for a funeral at Rookwood today, swung by to test my luck on the five currently active hides I hadn’t got to previously and managed a 100% find rate, though some I almost gave up on. Really only two or three options to match the clue, with the correct one located as the arrow finally settled. Log is full with no more spaces left.
The final is no longer available. The series has commenced being archived to free up these spaces for new hides. All the caches in this series will be removed and archived in the next week or two.
Came here two weeks ago and searched and searched for this one to no avail. Today I just walked up and found it, obviously it wasn’t there two weeks ago because there is no way I would have missed that.
Tftc 5 of 5 so far today of bush and fields. About hour so far walking from central location

This one was a bit tricky as the GPS kept jumping around. Did not give up, so found the cache eventually. TFTC
skyebomonkeytown I found your cache Bushes and Fields - Kessell Square on 16/2/19, 2:25 pm. This is my find 2281 and find # 12 today. Not many hiding places, so a quick find. Thanks for the cache! TNSLLN
I'm an Old Boy of St Pat's so this was my stomping ground for many years. The school has changed a lot but the neighborhood is just the same. A nice quick visit down memory lane.
We approached the location with sprinklers at full blast. As the only one of us with waterproof shoes, I volunteered to search, and got soaked in the process. With no luck, I sat in the sun to dry off.
A few minutes later, a maintenance truck pulled up and a few guys jumped out to turn off the sprinklers. Learn from my mistake. TFTC

With Mr NZTs promotion to look after NZ AND Australia the caching possibilities have dramatically increased. Also there appears to be a bit of a challenge with Keylev so this now calls for some night caching around Sydney. So after work and dinner I hit the streets.
Of course it had to be the LAST rock I checked

Had time to waste so a walk around the streets picking up caches was the best thing to do.

ReverseG and I were on a roll after starting the day off with three DNFs. Found the cache surprisingly easily and performed signing duties before returning the cache and continuing our fun.
Flush with success, we descended on the GZ and found the cache with surprising speed. We popped over to a nearby rock and did the signing duties while checking for muggles. Log signed, cache secured and rest complete, we set off for the next cache, spirits still up.

Finding myself in an area of Sydney I don't often visit, I took the chance to find a bunch of unfound caches. A nice quick find on this one.
Located at 3:28pm. Last find whilst out with my Baba, time now for home-made pilmeny. Спасибо! תודה! L’chaim! TFTC!
I was too tired to do the old shoe laces trick so I sat on each rock until I hatched something. TFTC skyebomonkeytown.
If anyone had seen me on my knees looking under rocks, I am sure that questions would have been asked. Fortunately I found this one quickly.
Thanks for this cache.

Nice park. A nice man who lives across the way saw Whypie and I at ground zero and pointed out where the cache was hidden. Friendly muggle
Wow. That was interesting. Arrived at the park and was subtly waiting for muggles to leave when approached by a neighbour. "Are you looking for the little thing," he asked? "It's under there".
Well that's never happened before! TFTC.
Out for a day's caching in Homebush with Puglumps.

3rd find of the morning while out caching in the Homebush/Strathfield area.
Another nice little green space in the Bushes and Fields series. Used the hint to make this a quick find but of course it was in the last place checked! Signed the log and grabbed the TB to move on.
Thanks for he cache SBMT!

I needed to tie my shoelaces several times here, but got there in the end.

Tried to clear out caches in the area. This is the third one. We searched the wrong rock initially. Older geokid spotted CH. TFTC
After walking through Rookwood from Lidcombe station I made a line for Strathfield station, this the second of four gathered in along the way.
Yes rocks are very handy for tieing shoe laces, only problem f you search more than two places you have to go back to the same shoe. Thank you for the cache.
I'm sure muggles walk extra slow and I had to use said rock to tie my shoe lace... tftc.

This weekend did we fly to Sydney. Our goal was to find the oldest cache in Australia. But of course did we logg some more caches in the city. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Sweden.

On holiday with the family in Sydney for a long weekend, in order to attend a neice's wedding. We had hired a car for a couple of days, and today I had a little time spare, so while the others hit the pool, I hit the road and went caching
This was my fourth find of the day. Parked up and wandered over. Cache was found in the second spot I stopped- Having already tied my shoelace at another spot a couple of metres away, I simply sat down here for a rest (t was SUCH a long walk from the car, after all ) and cache was quickly in hand.

Found it easily even though I was wearing thongs so didn't have any shoelaces to tie. TFTC SBMT
Another easy find for today, found in seconds with JulsJordsS and League13 TNLNSL TFTC

Needed to fill a calendar gap so targeted this series on a hot morning. This was my fifth stop. Decided to park in Francis St and do the rest on foot - hoping it would take me close to my daily 10K. Did a lap of the central garden when I heard a local resident whistle. When I finally spotted him, he hand signalled some instructions and I soon had CIH. Gave him a thankful thumbs up, SL, replaced and was on my way to the next one.

OCW with Mrs A today.
Most of the series were straight forward finds with the exception of two we had to DNF. There are some great parks in the Homebush/Strathfield area and we enjoyed the series. We also were impressed by the regular maintenance by the CO. TFTC skyebomonkeytown.

Only a few hours ago we were at home in Victoria now with the aide of an aeroplane and a hire car we are caching in Sydney in the company of McLookers, doesn't get any better than that! Targeting the caches close to our accommodation we searched with our torches as we located , signed and moved to the next one.
Thanks skyebomonkeytown for the cache.

Nice park, but the resident magpie took a dislike to the dog while I was there.
Out with Brewmaker today finding some caches around Homebush and Strathfield. The gps led us to the wrong rocks, but Brewmaker then tied his shoelace and found the cache. Signed the log and replaced the cache. Then looked up to see St Pats and a young freckle-faced Brewmaker walking across the road, dressed in school uniform and with a cricket bat under his arm
Spent the afternoon OCW Mikev1. We found 10 out of 11 hides. This was #8 find for the day.
A quick park and tie of the laces, I had the CIH. Signed and replaced, then reflected on my alma mater across the road. So many fond memories, but to think I had never seen it from this park! Thanks for the 40 year old memories and TFTC.
