After reading the logs and the cache page we were not sure what to expect at this one. Walked to GZ and spent some time looking about before we spotted something useful. We were thankful to spy the cache shortly after, and soon were signing the log. Liked this one, thanks.
Fixed the cache so now you can find it again. Remember to look out for muggles
Unfortunately tahuna torea will have to be disabled for about a week as we will need to fix the cache up a bit. Thank you to Pagenz for telling us.
I don't know what was the problem with Mr P and I (Lack of coffee I think) we mucked around finding WP1 and then almost give up until Mr P sighted the cache and we finally were able to retrieve the cache. Then er couldn't get the mechanism to work to replace the cache... Oh dear... we can do better. +TB
Loved this cache! Found the first part easy enough then spent quite a while before spotting stage 2 with so many options to choose from! Haven't seen one like this before, think it's great and gets a fave from us. TFTC
Saw the TB wanting to go to the UK & we have a trip there planned in a few weeks so we made this our mission. This was an awesome cache, both the puzzle which wasn't too hard and the cache itself. Gets a fav from us
Out for a walk with the younger Future Finder this afternoon. This sounded like a good spot to check out so we did. Quickly found the first part and after some brief trial and error we were onto the final. No problems were had with the cache retrival. Nice variation on this sort of hide. Cheers for the cache placement!
Teamed up with TW, TF to give this cache a go. Nice evening to be out and about. Got the first part of the puzzle okay and then wandered around until part 2 was found. Nice puzzle! Had some congratulatory words from a nearby neighbour. TFTPC.
Had arranged with Trout-fly and avoyager to do a night cache sort of nearby so thought we would do this one while we were waiting for it to get dark. Cache soon located and got a nice "good find" shout out from a friendly neighbour. TFTC
With my mom being still a little jet lagged we decided to calm day. As we were in the area we decided to check out this geocache. First clue was fast found but it took us some roaming around to find the second part. Nice idea. TFTC
This popped up as I was winding down work and unsurprisingly I soon found my way out here after touching base with mike-miss. Upon meeting up we made our way to the published coordinates and it was quickly clear where we had to go next. Spotted the cache although the lid and contents were missing! Thankfully we spotted them both nearby! Opened up the log to find it blank, so scored a joint (FTF) with mike-miss. Replaced the log and cache back as originally intended.
Thanks, and congratulations on your first placement!
Thanks, and congratulations on your first placement!
Conveniently, this new cache was published not too long before i was finishing up work for the day. Made my way through 5 o'clock traffic towards GZ. Parked up and made the short walk from the car and bumped into slieschke coming from the other direction. Quickly spotted an item of interest, but not really too sure at first on how to proceed. Spotted something not too far away and then realised what we needed to do. Cache was spotted but we noticed the lid had disappeared. Fortunately the lid and log was spotted at the base of the tree and hadn't blown away! Log signed and a joint FTF for our efforts. Replaced log back inside cache and secured lid firmly. Nicely done. TFTC!
