Apologies all, life became busy elsewhere and catching up with caching isn't possible right now.
We didn’t find this one we were maybe thinking someone thought it was rubbish and through it out?
Went to Geelong to get the canine kids out of the house and catch up with their trainer. As no one was about when we arrived I decided to take a short drive and nab a cache to complete a gap on my days caching calendar. TN, left pathtags. TFTC au_Nerd
GPS had us looking the wrong side. Quickly regrouped and had cache in hand! TFTC!
After the phone settled it was a quick find and far enough away from the activity at the playground and cafe TFTC au'Nerd
Over the years, geocaching has taken me on many adventures, including interesting destinations all over my home continent of Australia and many overseas as well. It has also introduced me to a diverse group of like-minded caching tragics, many of whom I now call close friends.
Today, I was lucky enough to be out and about searching for caches, something I do on almost a daily basis. This was one cache that was targeted and found.
Sorry for the late and generic log, something I am notorious for. Thank you au_Nerdfor adding to the adventure that is geocaching.

*Out and about around Geelong for their Christmas Events*.
Out with like minded people after the dinner event and during the night cache.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment au_Nerd... Appreciate your efforts...

Hahahaha, I laughed sooooo hard here, the conversations were hilarious!!!
Despite attempting the nearby night cache with a larger group, The Empire, Snap Happy and micaparamedic kinda broke off from the group and did a few other caches, including this one, and giggled the whole way.
After spending the last week in Tassie with the lovely micaparamedic we arrived back in Melbourne in order to attend the Geelong Chrissy events with friends.
Gary chauffeured me around all weekend and we certainly got to see some pretty parts of Victoria, laugh with friends and we even found a few caches.
Thanks so much for the cache au_Nerd!

Out and about caching around Geelong with Snap Happy and Happy Feet. After the dinner event and smashing a chicken parma, it was time for some night caching. We trekked around the park, shining torches all over the place and finding a couple of caches. This was one we found whilst doing the other one. Thanks for the cache au_Nerd.

Found during the really fun Geelong Annual Christmas Event Day!
It was perfect geocaching weather and we enjoyed getting to the cache.
Thanks for hiding the cache for us to find.
Took a little bit to pinpoint but the GPSr was spot on.

Our aim today was to add some more smiley faces to our map of the Lara area. The weather was a bit windy today and not many muggles were around. The cache was found quickly as the co-ords are very good. No problems were found with the container or log and all was put back for the next cacher to find. Thanks go to au_Nerd for this lovely little series .
Found with BeardedHill and perricheeseburger while out grabbing a few in Lara we are yet to do.
I absolutely love Grand Lakes - it's such a beautiful estate. Thanks for bring us here!

Out caching with thomo31, pulled up next to cache got out, located signed log and returned. TFTC
Found with teamashy. I Needed a calendar fill cache and this was a nice park and grab. TFTC
Found this guy in the company of The_Tritonz, while attempting the nearby night cache. In the cover of darkness, we didn't have to worry about curious muggles. After a short search Chris came up with the goods. This was my first find in this series. TFTC au_Nerd
Together with DAB we found this cache under the cover of darkness while attacking the new nearby Nightcache. We had been here once before but it was impossible to search with all the muggles at the centre. Tonight however we had no such problem and the cache was in hand very quickly.
Thanks for the hide au_Nerd.

Heading homeward after the International Geocaching Day 2017 Event in the You Yangs, this little clutch of caches at Lara Grand Lakes called for a slight detour.
With the afternoon cooling down, there were very few muggles and we made a quick find.
Thanks au_Nerd for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Out and about with 08151605 on this gorgeous day. Searched everywhere for this one but not a smiley in sight. Thanks anyway au_Nerd
After getting conflicting results from our phones / programs today, cgeo was the closest to the mark: Headed out to get this one for the souvenir this weekend. Will slowly find all of them over the next little while.. thanks for bringing us here xxx
Needed a cache to get a 3millionth cache souvenir for the weekend. Haven't got all the ones in this series yet. The new app wouldn't play nice and kept walking us 20m one way then 20m the next. Finally gave up and switched to cgeo which narrowed it down to 1m. Nice accurate coords with the right app. Go figure. Tried to look as inconspicuous as possible with houses so close by and lots of people at the park. I think we did a pretty good job. Tftc.
Out and about with the Granddaughters doll enjoying pranking the granddaughter(3yo) that her doll is out enjoying herself around Lara, were at the nearby park and decided to grab this cache.
After a short walk we had the cache in hand and the log signed.
Placed a TB and returned cache to it's hiding place and we were off again.

Visiting family in Lara today, we decided to go for a walk around the lake. This was more difficult than we expected as the lakes are very very full-to-overflowing after the recent rains. Quite a lot of the pathways are inaccessible due to the high water levels. Two of the caches in this series will have to wait until the water level drops!
A simple find here after lunch and a play at the nearby cafe and playground.
Log signed and all replaced as found.

A quick find today in the very warm afternoon. The cache was almost out in the open, so maybe a revisit to check the location might save this from muggling.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for this geocache here today.

Busy parking area at 9.30am and lovely playground had a few muggle Mums with their offspring enjoying it even though the day was grey and had a cool breeze - but not foggy like it was earlier on our way here.
What a wonderful wetlands with some beautiful low bushes that had purple flowers on some and yellow ones on others in the garden beds. Did not take us long to find the well hidden cache. Fortunately GZ was not too close to the playground for which we were very thankful indeed.
TFTC au Nerd and the interesting notes.

Found by Mary & David at 1300. Haven't been here for a few months. Today we made a start on this series to add another day to our streak. A nice quick find. Our thanks to au_Nerd.

The geo boy and I popped out of home to grab the last two of these caches yet to be found in Lara Lakes. We parked closed by and made a quick grab without muggles about. Stamped and replaced as found.
**Thanks for placing this trad cache and series au_Nerd**
**Cache container and log in good order**

A quick find exactly where the hint said it would be. Thanks au Nerd, found with 6Hinemoa2 today.
Out with a caching run with McLookers today. Pulled up and used the hint to find the container. Signed in and moved on.

Quick find on our way home from Mt Gambier. It got to 9pm, and we still hadn't hit Colac, so decided we'd done enough caching. I asked Lea how many we had: 894. We looked at each other and grinned - couldn't stop this close to 900! So, 6 to get before we get home. This was #5 of 6. A quick one here. Co-ords were accurate, so straight onto it. TFTC 1 to go!!
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.
I like it

Received a call from my good caching mates the suscoe cachers if I would be interested in a trip to grab a few cachers that they had not found in Werribee, Taylors Lakes, Melton, Bacchus Marsh and a couple closer to home out at Lara.
A good day for caching as it was not too hot and little wind and no rain. I will have to return to some of these areas because now I have the odd smiley here and there and lots of green boxes on my maps.
Quick find today and recorded the number but I am still trying to locate the very first one of these.
Thanks again au Nerd for placing these caches.

What better things could you do than go out caching on a delightfull6y mild January day in the terrific company of Bushfire.
With the last few hot days finally over we couldn't resist the idea of a trip into the west of Melbourne with caches in mind.
It was a cloudy day in the most part and a pleasant mild breeze keeping things on the good side of the thermometer.
We were surprised with the relatively good traffic conditions as we wandered the western plains out as far as the Pentlands.
Our last find of the day.
We had covered quite a few Kms tpoo.
A quick find thanks to the keen eyes of the Red Ant.
Thanks to au_Nerd for this cache.
It really is a lovely parkland/wetland area for the locals to enjoy.
Time to head home and catch up with the other parts of our lives.
16 caches today over a wide area of travel, nice to get those green rectangles turned into smiling faces at last.

Nice quick find on a somewhat warm day with the cool change coming through. Kids played on the playground whilst we made short work of the find. It's a pretty spot here, I can see the appeal for living here!
Another find by the McPhail family.

As I couldn't leave a cache surrounded by smilys all by its self and I was just passing, sort of. I took a detour to grab this one. Arriving at GZ I was a little hesitant to grab this one with the nearby park but as I was out of view I took my chance to make a quick find. Signed and replaced as found.

The Geograndkids were with us and we all started looking. A concerned local walking past told us snakes had been sighted very close to here in the past couple of days. We decided to return another time.
We initially started searching for this guy from the wrong end. After a break while some pedestrians headed by we rechecked the GPS and grabbing the container with ease. Must be that continental drift they were talking about in the papers! TFTC

I woke up this morning with a busy day planned to find that this had been published 15min earlier. Thought I am probably too late but I'll have a crack before I shower a get going for the day.
A quick drive across to the other side of Lara and park just near GZ. I was happy to see that there was nobody insight so I may just be still in line for the first to find. Either that or I am so late they have gone already. After a short search I found the cache in it little hiding spot and it looked as though it had been there for quite some time, so I thought I was good for the FTF. Opened the container to find a blank log book [:d] waiting for me to sign.
Thank you au_Nerd for the cache and the series. I am looking forward to any more that are coming
