Gone again! Since it seems that searchers aren't being as stealthy as they need to be in this busy and highly visible location, I see no point in continuing to replace it ... so it's time to say goodbye after nearly 7 years.
Wow, I remember when these caches were published, and as someone who lives on the Central Coast this find has been a LONG time coming. In those years I've been to Erina Fair many times, and have looked for this cache several times too. I know I have been here when the cache has gone missing, but I'd come to think this cache was a nano as I had yet to find it. Until today . My wife wanted to do some shopping out here, so I came along to keep her company and stretch my legs. I'd almost forgotten about the cache today except that out last shopping place was at ALDI, which is not far away.
Thankfully there were not too many people around (latish Saturday afternoon) so after some sideways glances to see if I could spot 'the nano' I went for where I always suspected the cache might be. And Bob's my uncle! Well not really. But I was a bit surprised to finally have the cache in hand. Took me longer to get the logbook out of the cache haha. Signed and soon had a good chance to replace. Later I suggested to my wife that next time she should come wearing a bikini, so that I would be able to go stealthy geocaching with no-one interested in what I might be doing. She didn't warm to the idea. TFTC!

After not having the opportunity to find this cache on previous visits due to muggle activity, we made the find rather quickly today. TFTC
Found with Smasherly, avenging a previous DNF when it mysteriously disappeared... TFTC!
I have replaced this cache ... hopefully, it will not disappear again.
Please note that lots of muggles frequent the area where the cache is hidden so **ABSOLUTE STEALTH IS REQUIRED** when you are looking for and then replacing the cache.

This hiding spot appears to have been compromised so I'm disabling it while I look at alternative locations.
Another attempt at this one, three tries in the last week. Changed cords but still no luck.

Based on vk2df's feedback, I'm disabling this one until I can replace the cache ... again. This is now the 3rd or 4th time this one has gone missing since I made it available to all. Even though it is located in a high muggle area, I never had a problem while it was a premium cache, so I can only surmise that it takes time for newbies to learn to be discrete when looking for a cache. Since I'm sick of continually replacing this cache, it's now going back to being one for premium members only.
We have travelled up from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to the Central Coast, staying for a couple of nights in a park cabin at the Blue Lagoon Beach Resort (Caravan Park) in Bateau Bay, for a short weekend getaway & caching holiday. Our primary caching target areas will be along the coastal strip from The Entrance to Terrigal, Erina, and Gosford. A total of 15 finds for today, and 30 finds for the weekend.
Arrived at the Erina Fair shopping centre with the hope of finding a few caches, but we were off to a bad start with this one, searching around GZ for a while but failing to find the cache. TFTH anyway Opa Shrek.

After 12 years we returned to Australia for vacation. A visit to Erina Fair was a walk down memory lane. It took a while before I could get to the cache. The area was frequented by people waiting for a pickup and one lady looked at me suspiciously....

Woohoo thanks Opa Shrek for reinstating. And a detective clue too! Found with Taylapearce3 and GeoJess.
Checked GZ today and the cache seems to have gone walkabout again. I'll replace it asap.
I couldn’t find it! Next time pls leave a hint! Me and my friend ended up searching behind a bench but only found rubbish!
This was my first geocach, but I looked for it with someone that had done lots before. We looked everywhere and we couldn’t find it. Pretty sure a muggle may have taken it.
After finishing shopping we found very easily

Checked this while at Erina today and found that the cache has gone MIA. Unfortunately, I didn't have a spare container in the car, so will have to replace it on my next visit. Stay tuned!
Hehehe our first one.....loads of muggles but nothing the kids cant handle!!! Thank you!
Second round searching and I’ve found it! Yay! After 10 minutes sitting and waiting for an elderly muggle’s taxi. She was sitting right under it!There was a few seconds of no muggles and I quickly grabbed it, took it back to my car to sign and put it back. Thanks for the cache!
Took me a little bit to find (I'm only a beginner). Security regularly wonder passed me, which add to excitement of locating it... Gr8 Job.
I left a little "Kabba" keyring inside.
The 5¢ & magnet are still there as well..

Found, not to hard GPS and cords slightly off. Be careful of the dirty smokers. Left 5cents.
Spotted the likely hiding spot fairly quickly, but had to return several times while muggles waited for buses back to their retirement villages and others sat and has a smoke. Finally showed up when no-one was around and quickly retrieved it. Muggled while signing the log, but as it was by someone I was there with it didn’t count, and gave me a chance to explain caching to him. TFTC, Opa Shrek
Spent 45min - an hour searching the carpark for this cache in the dark, a few muggles having a cigarete nearby stopped me from searching the place the cache ended up being hidden until the very end
We had a pretty decent look. Couldn’t find it... can owner please check? Thanks
Found wilst doing some shopping at Erina for the grandkids, came out for a quick find, after waiting for the GPS to settle. TFTC Opa Shrek

Instant find at night. Thinks it's crept since I last last looked in this horrible spot.
Looked in the usual low places. It once I raised my sites a little higher we were CIH. TFTC.
QAEPAG. Had to wait 1 minute for trolley guy to round up a few trolleys and move on, then it was 1 minute to get CIH, SL, replace and go. TFTC Opa Shrek
Cords were out by 33 metres however could be anything as the compass swung around a fair bit. Coming from different directions helped zero in exactly
I replaced the container here this morning. The cache is now a **micro**, and finders will need to bring a pen/pencil to log their visit.
Remember that GZ is a busy area, and lots of muggle shoppers pass by or wait here for pick ups during the day ... care therefore needs to be taken when looking for the cache, and at times, a return visit may even be necessary.
Another day to be out and about finding a few geocaches.
I found somewhere close by the park and made my way to GZ.
After quite a bit of searching between muggles I still had not found this one ... so I moved on.

I'm sure there is a reason a cache would be hidden in a location like that. Really got nothing else to say.
Too busy and too stinky. The only possibilities I found are places I don't want to touch just in case. Didn't find this very pleasant.
After finding the drive-in cache, we headed over to intensity for a quick game of Air hockey. As always, a wager was made on the outcome of the match. I won, and my prize was another cache find
Not a soul around at 9pm, roommate found it straight away. Cool lil cache and the spot is cheeky.

Yippee I found it. Thanks for the little extra help Opa-shrek. Great to meet you today.
Had a long look, but I feel it might not be there any more. Last log was November as well...
Called by to check on this one in light of the concerns expressed by the last searcher, and can confirm that **the cache is still in place**, in the hiding spot it's always been in.
Lots of muggles, but luckily for me not right at GZ, so I sat, grabbed, sat, signed and replaced in about two minutes.
We sat down next to the GZ waiting for the right time to find and log it.
A fun and easy cache to find despite the high muggle activity entering and exiting the centre.

Timing a break in the muggles is hard work. FP for a really cool spot. TNLN TFTC
We had just been to Terrigal to pick up the tickets for our trip to New zealand Yay exactly a month to go now.So thought we would do this cache and a few others in the area.We couldn't find a number for the nearby multi so left it for another day. This cache was found easily the hard part was waiting for a break in passing muggles to put it back,we were sitting waiting when this man came and sat right beside us and started talking to himself really loudly,So I quickly put the cache back as stealthy as i could and got my daughters away from there. Thanks for the cache opa-shrek tnln sl
I couldn't believe how easy it was to grab this cache today. I reckon it was because of the wet weather. People scurrying to get inside the shopping centre paid no mind to me checking my phone. Made a quick grab, signed, replaced and out of there in less than 3 mins! Great hide. Thanks Mumma-Kel.
Out today with ratchet69 and we had a fun day today grabbing a few caches. Thanks ratchet69 for taking me out. Thanks for stopping and doing the caches you had already found
This one I had tried the other day with the Mighty Minions but there were too many people about. Today with a previous finder made a quick easy find TFTC

Smoker goes only to be replaced by a guy sitting nearby with his shopping. Now there is a worker out here doing the bins... I want to go home already!!!
Streak day #217 - Happy Canada Day. Tonight I am up the coast for game 3 of the international ice hockey cup. Tonight the Canadians rose to the occasion and beat the Americans 6-4. It was an exciting game to watch and the crowd loved it. I was ushering instead of manning the gate tonight, so I was able to watch more of the game rather than focusing on whether or not it was time to open the gate or not. After the game I had only a little bit of time to find a cache because we needed to hurry down to Sidelines for the after match celebrations. Well part one anyone. Part two will be at the Woodport Inn. Anyway, this cache was the closest traditional to the rink so it was my target. It was nice to see that it had been found today. At least that way I knew it was there. As soon as things settled down at the rink I drove over and parked right in front of the GZ. My sister refused to get out of the car. She needed to warm up after freezing down at the rink. I fired up the app on my phone and started hunting. I looked in a few places before I finally zeroed in on the hide and got CIH. I signed the log and put the cache back as quick as I could. Thankfully at 10pm on a Wednesday night I didn't need to worry about muggles at all. With the cache back where it belonged it was time to rush over to the rink. I needed to show the team buses how to get to Sidelines. TFTC. Let the party begin.
Collected this easy grab with the geokids on our way out after shopping today... Must have missed WTF by moments... Shame coz maybe we could have helped with his replacement issues
Dam smokers... Cache in hand and log signed and now there's a smoker nearby not allowing me to put it back!! Might have to sit here for a while...
Nice. Muggles everywhere. Shopping working. Sneaked it between muggle groups. TFTC TFTH.
